I wonder what the conversation was all about?
Minutes after the seller appears - once they are out then it’s back to business as normal
Another 47,968 shares added for me
A kick the teeth for all those wealthy Tesla SUV drivers......I think Simon Cowell can afford his car tax!
Gets my vote!
Of course road tax will not kill off ev's. Diesel and petrol cars are to be phased out and new models will not be available in the UK after 2030. What will people do? Walk? I doubt it.
Right, road tax will "kill" EVs. And that presumably happening in the UK has a meaningful impact on lithium demand in Europe. Any other jokes to start my day off? :)
Phil, I don't see that will change the demand for EV's - To be fair EV drivers still use the roads and should contribute but it would have been nice to retain a first year of ownership exemption as a further incentive. Anyway, the ban of combustion engines will not slow the demand for Lithium! ATB
Well Hunt just killed the EV industry in the UK. Maybe there will be plenty of lithium after all.
Never hurts to check.
Very pleased to have received a professional and prompt response from David Koch (EMH Company Secretary and CFO) regarding the accounting treatment on performance shares ...No mistakes were made in the financial statements - just me being confused which is easily done!
Not sure those dates are lining up with the latest from Keith and CEZ. But will be very pleased if they do.
Lets hope so....
I don't know if you noticed that in the Financial Accounts ended 30th June 2022 both directors KC & RP performance shares (2,400,000 and 1,200,000 respectively) were expensed in the profit & loss statement as management assessed the probability of achieving the hurdles linked to the performance shares as greater than 50%.
As a reminder theses hurdles were delivery by 30th June 2023:
1) That the company has executed an offtake agreement for at least 25% of the product planned to be produced from the Cinovec Project.
2) The attainment of Project Finance for the Cinovec Project.
3) An announcement by the Company to the ASX stating that the Company has made a Decision to Mine in respect of the Cinovec Project.
So the next 7 months will be quite interesting.
Incidentally, I believe they expensed the wrong amount in the Profit & loss statements - they expensed A$1,896,130 but according to my calculations it should have been A$2,844,000...I sent an email to the Company Secretary for comment/clarification.
Hopefully we get offtakes with both of them daveri007 if they receive their samples Q1 next year as we were told they would.
"Prime Minister Petr Fiala (ODS) said on Wednesday that the Czech government is discussing two projects of factories for the production of batteries for electric cars. According to him, in addition to Volkswagen, which wants a factory in Líny near Pilsen, a gigafactory with a Korean partner is also in play."
Sounds like LG are still very much still in the picture!
Two greatposts Daveri. Thanks for the information. All looks good to me.
CEZ will decide on lithium by the end of 2023, and is still negotiating the gigafactory in Prunérov
Energy company CEZ wants to decide by the end of next year whether it will use lithium reserves industrially. The results of the currently prepared study will be key to this. In an interview with CTK, CEZ financial director Martin Novák said this today. The company is also still negotiating the battery factory project at the site of the power plant in Prunérov in Ústeck, according to Novák, there are more possible investors.
"We are now investigating the real feasibility of industrial implementation," Novák said about the use of lithium. In the study, the company wants to test whether it is able to use lithium in an industrial way. According to Novák, the decision on whether CEZ will continue with the project and move to the actual implementation phase could be made by the end of 2023. According to estimates, the Czech Republic has about three percent of the world's lithium resources, the vast majority in Cínovec and a small amount in the Slavkovské les.
According to Novák, CEZ is also still negotiating with possible investors about the project of a factory for the production of batteries for electric cars, the so-called gigafactory, on the site of the Prunérov I lignite power plant, which is now being demolished. "It's still in play. There are many investors who revolve around the gigafactory," noted Novák. According to him, there can be more battery factories in the Czech Republic, because the location of the country is favorable for this. However, he did not name a specific candidate.

I think a "false rise" is a very bullish sign for any stock. It shows that people see a lot of value in the stock, but their timing is off. In the case of an Olympic runner, just because he or she has a "false start" does not mean he or she is a slow runner. They are just eager to get on with the race! And yes, the lack of news is frustrating and is likely having a toll on the impatient. But I'm not in the the impatient crowd and look forward to an electrified Europe.
It is astonishing that I have asked several questions of you Skelly that you blatantly ignore and refuse to answer , and here you ask me to reply to one of yours ? Yes , I agree the rise fell again and yes no feedback from potential offtakers after samples were given out . But I do contend this was not a " false rise " not at least on our exchange , i do not bellieve EMH will rise in a straight line and you of all people whom watch the charts know that any rise upwards will always be squigglely , if you go to my post at 9.52 pm on tuesday , they are the only human sells in ASX from Oz , the next time we have a bit of a squirt we will probably get to $1.13 as the supply of sellers has virtually dried up here .
Our sell screen at moment ;
1 Seller at $0.78 for 20,000 shares
1 Seller at $0.82 for 5,000 shares
1 Seller at $0.84 for 5,000 shares
1 Seller at $0.87 for 4,733 shares
1 Seller at $1.02 for 41 shares
2 Seller at $1.05 for 34,000 shares
1 Seller at $1.08 for 2,000 shares
1 Seller at $1.13 for 40,000 shares
1 Seller at $1.20 for 1,000 shares
The first sell is left over arbitrage from AIM , the next 4 are bot sells ( the 87 cent sell has to be bot as we humans are not allowed to place a sell order more than 10% below the last sell price in the list , it is forboden ) , you will note the rest are same as I posted on tuesday , that is where the Oz human sells start .
You need to blame your rogue brokers / market makers . They too make money with the greater frequency of trades .
