Lots.
And lots.
So full circle then-----Aerial how many tonnes of coal?
It’s all about “COAL” :))
Clearly
But difficult for some!
It’s because of coal that we have a future, and I’d guess coal will be funding Edenville for quite sometime unless we are lucky enough to get bought out. If we get bought out it will because of coal, it’s not difficult to understand!. …
EDL's future may not be coal it may be diversification which may or may not include coal, acquisitions may come along with funding but income from those ventures are some way off. Currently our only source of income is coal and efforts to develop that income should continue. I imagine that the profit margins on coal are, at this moment in time, greatly improved.
I suspect (hope) that NvS is addressing his primary responsibility over on ARCM... :))) But once he's done there I'm sure he can help sort us out here. Perhaps we will be getting into Copper... LOL.
It's whether our BoDs feel that coal is part of Edenville's future, or if it something else, gold, helium, rare earth minerals?
We have a feeling for NvSs sentiment through the interview, Tony Buckingham is looking at other acquisition options. Talk is the mine is being handed over, albeit 11 months late, so the overall picture I'd the coal will at best be a £££ per sale with others doing the mining work.
If there's no RNS tomorrow before the AGM will there be people giving up on Edenville?
Coal at this moment in time is getting more expensive to buy, it's something that we have plenty of, it is in demand from various industries plus the power pool. These are things that we know, the current large investors are here for one purpose, to make a profit, they have sufficient information to encourage them parting with their cash , so whatever information they have must be substantial and way above what we know, for that reason alone this is a buy in my book.
As a crumb pecking investor I agree with other posters we do need a substantial update.
It really does beg the question what the larger investors (and there are a few) have invested in as nobody appears to be in any hurry or interested in keeping the Market updated considering there is no advantage in them hanging it out, that is apart from the board and possibly, but doubtfully Brandon Hill. …
In just over 24hrs.
There's no indication from recent trades of any news release, I'm sure that if there's anything good to be released it would/will be released before the AGM.
They still have 2 months for the expected orders to fill the order book.
There's one thing EDL is good at and that is silence!
I’m not surprised that Norrab1 calls an accurate factual statement fantasy, as he has nothing else to offer other than the odd laughable “coal is dead” post. Obtuse, or just an Edenville hater because he is a failed investor that can’t let it go. Says much imho !!
Always a good sign when the clowns are back in town !! lol
I've just read a brilliant fantasy novel:
"The delusions of Harry" an allegory paralleling "The Cognitive Dissonant Ones"
Published in January 2017 ! Lol
Amazing how some can make a negative out of a positive lol
Perhaps statement more reflective of the SP would have been to say we are not currently up as much as we were, but up almost a quarter on the bid “on nothing” and in the middle of a pandemic is pretty exceptional !!
Whichever way you split percentages, we are up c. 23% this year !
GW didn’t you say in early Jan 2021:
“Yes, there will be those that argue it makes no difference as the MCap stays as is, but in reality consolidation just allows the share price to get chipped away at again, more shares issued, dilution etc etc.....and PIs lose”
I’d say under the circumstances +23.0769% on nothing and in the middle of a pandemic is exceptional !!
You are entitled to your opinion aerial. It's what these boards are for.
But I'm not sure I would personally use the phrase "pretty good" in relation to our current share price, whichever way we want to split percentages.
The bid is +23.0769% since 6th January 2021 which looks like consolidation day.
Pretty good imo !!
Esquimo I know it's no flu I'm saying it's coming in waves how the Spanish flu did took the old on the first wave then the younger ones later
What about 12th May?!
We can debate detail but the 3month share chart says it all for us.
-12.9% on the bid since 4th May 2021
Aerial - I agree but that's only a week ago - we must be c7% down since early July? (And well over 20% down since early May?)
We need some positive news.
Small blessings! You could have still been in ARCM.... [Arghhhhhhh]
