At least the buy back is being bought at what i think is close to the bottom.....patience is the key 400p within 3 months just my thoughts
Markets flipping mental.....Shorters seem to want blood at the moment.....Or maybe that's just my pf ! Anyway after those results and the WC on the way, I've bought more..... GLAH
not sure why the drop but think i may buy again....
how the market makers show little love for successful profitable companies like this and DP Poland. And yet takeovers/mergers could be a real possibility. The American competitors and Chinese investors must be salivating over possible merger deals.
Good RNS Surprised at pace of UK growth which will decline at some stage but prospects of growth in Germany and Sweden and Norway offer medium term prospects. The share buy back is great news for existing holders as well. Wish I had bought a lot more in 2006 at just over 1 per share. I havent done the math for stock splits but share has performed brilliantly for me.
looks like the market likes it......
Held DOM since 2010 at an adjusted book cost of 116p a share (accounting for the share split in 2016). Up 201% in capital terms plus loads of dividends on top and a dividend yield on cost climbing steadily. Quite happy. The time will come when growth is harder to come by, but I think it has plenty of potential yet to come. And, when that day comes, it can shower us with dividends instead.
DOM are never over reactive with there trading updates that was a very good RNS everything seems to be under control and in order.....but as usual we will have to see what the market thinks....
LFL sales good -
All looks good - will the market agree?
results out this morning for dom Poland if we are doing as well as them the SP here is about to move quite a bit higher...
Any reason for the rise?
Recently bought in.....I feel this has some way to go over the next 12 months target £4.65
Wasn't happened today?
The most positive news was a further share buy back - should boost return on equity further DOM needs to show that businesses outside UK and Ireland can grow and be profitable whilst they lose money or are small they detract from value of Group by adding complexity and reducing cash generated by UK.
The true percentage of stock on loan is nearer 16%, which was quoted on the advfn chat room this morning,( The figure below is the total of funds where the individual company has more than 0.5 % of stock so no doubt many other funds are short below this cut off figure). It only takes a small number of shorts to push this stock down to create a buying opportunity. This will no doubt be reflected when we see what has been sold today in a few days time. Could well be a buying opportunity, after all, they must be bought back at some time.
the crash this morning ?
12 funds were short on this - total 8.8%
I wonder if DPP will follow the same trend from 42p to 420p in just a few years. It looks like it very well could from its current growth rates. Interesting times.
Absolutely flying. This had been way, way oversold in recent weeks. I'm firmly back in the blue here now. Great start to the day.
Strong Q3 RNS out this morning Wish I had bought a lot more at 273p after previous drop
Great news, why the sudden leap?
Hope a few are getting burnt fingers.
She's flying this morning. Much more like it.
and 8.8% short interest ....
