Not sure why the SP droped on this good news
Looks good on the face it of it. Another company successfully transforming into digital although is being impacted by the universities at the moment slightly.
Covid costs seem to have calmed down for companies that that there are proper established supply chains for PPE, screens, etc.
I hit this sweet during the last lockdown so have gone in again.
It’s building up momentum and with the pubs shutting at 10pm this could be a winner again.
Looks like the only "trouble ahead" was you short Ballsofstell82, certainly not the share price.
My short hit the stop loss today lol
Well this has recovered nicely, so far this afternoon from the drop yesterday and early morning. At least the worse of the extra COVID related cost will abate in the second half and the loss making Norway operation is out of the way, hopefully things will get better for the H2.
I’m expecting a nice set of results tomorrow. Had some pizza from them on Saturday, it was delicious.
This company's business model will be disrupted be Uber eats, deliveroo, just eat, etc. There is a lot more competition now all fast food restaurants offer delivery. I expect they will have to lower their prices to compete.
Green in New York, happy days this is a good medium long hold
£3.22 @ 2.12 pm is my best guess .....
This is a good one to add and hold. I predict SP ends at 320p today!
Yesterday and today the share price has done well. I think it was clever of Domino's pizza to streamline there menu. This will make them more money I'm sure. I know the company has it's problems but with the current situation I think Domino's is well positioned. Maybe the new CEO and CFO have been buying and if the price keeps going up the share buybacks will look like they were at a good price.

opinion is that pizza delivery chains will take market share from independents and other food service with dine-in element.

What do McDonald's, KFC, Subway, Burger king, Gregg's, Pret, Costa all have in common? They all shut up shop this week without a date for reopening. They will likely shed staff and take a while to get running again once the coronavirus restrictions are lifted. Tbe bored Netflix binging, video game playing, working from home UK public will still need junk food, guess who's gonna deliver it (contact free of course)?
There's a short-term benefit from exiting international, I think, with those losses going away. However, it raises the question of how they exit those businesses and what they get for them? If they get cash, what do they do with it? I think there is still quite a bit of growth in the UK and Ireland to come, however they need to fix the franchisee dispute. And it begs the question about what happens, in, say, 5+ years and its core markets have less growth to offer. Perhaps DOM becomes a slower growth but highly cash generative business showering dividends and buybacks on shareholders?
They timed recent share buybacks very poorly. I wish they'd bought in the 200s!
I've held since 2010. The current share price represents a 137% capital gain and it had been touching well over 200% a year or so back. Dividend per share has compounded around 13% a year. The past is no guide to the future and all that!
Peel hunt upgraded 350 target price.
Some very strong buying leading into the trading update....
I'm expecting trading in UK and Ireland to have done ok. Outside of UK not quite so well. Share price to continue in trading range for at least another couple of months.
What are people's thoughts?
hmmmm pizza
Maybe on the march to 2.80 again. Results due soon and that could go either way. Big decision to sell before, usually works out best.
That sure was a surprise to see this afternoon. Definitely a change is required at boardroom level.
Am guessing the mid afternoon BSP rise at 11% ATM, is down to the breaking news on sky media.
Sky reports Andrew Rennie is the frontrunner to succeed David Wild, - nothing from DOM on the breaking news.
