Bangrak, assume short or wanting to get in at depressed levels?
I remember when many investors were screaming for the BOD to return more of their cash reserves when their cash mountain was climbing. Luckily the BOD are running the company and not retail investors. The BOD are excellent and that's why I continue to hold.
Looking forward to seeing how the company continues to diversify over the coming years.
Funny final line TBTT, tongue in cheek, but so very true! Having bought initially at under 10p and more on the way up, I wish I'd put everything on SLP, hindsight is a wonderful thing! But what a beautiful thing SLP has been and will continue to be.
Great board, full of great investors. GLA
Despite the impact of COVID-19, temporary mine closure at the host mines and the volatility of the Rand to Dollar exchange rate, the Board of Directors recognises that the Company has enjoyed a significant positive cashflow impact as a result of the palladium and rhodium prices. The Board is therefore considering the payment of a 'metal price windfall dividend'. This windfall dividend payment will be based on excess cashflow generated from palladium and rhodium prices achieved above long-term broker consensus prices for these metals for the 2020 calendar year.
Like this from the BCN update today:
During the quarter, reports from Goldman Sachs indicated that investor concerns about a wave of supply of the electric car battery material from new mines are unfounded, that it will be harder to develop new lithium mines than most people think, and that demand for lithium could rise fourfold by 2025 due to rising sales of electric cars.
Well said Brad1. The 25% spike to near 17p on the Scoping didn't last long at all, it was red after about 15minutes, (got to be quick with AIM if you want to trade it) driving to work at 8am is not ideal ! Think it was 13p by 8:30am.
Still believe for that amount of funding, 9p was pretty decent and for all the talk of PI's not being privy to the placing, well your not far from it currently.
Been here since the AME days and remain a holder and never been in a better position. Trust in the management, its all you have on AIM !
Well done for those that managed a quick 100/200% and sold on the spike.
Not sure why the company has been blamed. They are working on heading to production and hopefully updating us with resource upgrades. Until then we are at the mercy of the AIM casino, as PI's run to other stocks chasing winners, more probably losers. Maybe take this as an opportunity to increase your holding, as the market cap is now a lot less than it was at 17p.
