For interest this was posted on Hargreaves Lansdown today: Woodford bought shares in Utilitywise in spring 2015 when they were trading north of 300p and also participated in a placing at 290p a month later. They’re trading at 61p as I’m writing - 79% below the placing price. The company helps businesses get better value out of energy and water contracts. A camp of bearish analysts has always been sceptical of its business model and revenue recognition policies. And they’ve been proved right. Woodford and his team said in mid-July they were reassured by a call with management but added: “We continue to monitor the situation closely.” The company released another issue-riddled trading update last week, so it will be interesting to learn what Woodford’s position is now. My position is to watch from the sidelines for the time being.

AUNBoy, they say when your most fearful its time to BUY, do not SELL....I was fearful at 170p, but did niether, the same at 160p, and again at 150p.....Is now the time to BUY then? I'm sticking with it....Assuming it goes back up to 500p, I'll buy you many beers :)

This explains the 5% rise yesterday/today............ Petra Diamonds, rated 'overweight', remains JPM's top diamonds pick. It reckons the stock will re-rate over the medium term based on solid production growth and improving product mix and margin expansion as the proportion of undiluted ore increases.

What's makes you say that speakssense ? This stock has been awful since the IPO. Thankfully only have a couple of thousand left to offload, but mm's not interested in taking any stock. Its taken about 7months to reduce my holding.

Dixies, what was the outcome of the MP vote ? It doesn't seem to have had an effect here as we approach the recent placing price of 850p.

LarryH, just usual market noise. Probably being dragged down before the rise towards results in February. Decent trading update recently to suggest everything going to plan. Of course we've had the recent Tedi sale and placing at 850p and I'm sure the market is still absorbing the shares from that drop. Hope to be back to 850p at least before the update.....

Believe what you will, but nice PT upgrade by Barclays today..... Barclays Capital today reaffirms its overweight investment rating on Petra Diamonds Ltd (LON:PDL) and raised its price target to 200p (from 168p).

I think so, Numis still think they are worth something though. Find it quite amazing after the stock has tanked from 210p to 125p in a matter of a few weeks, that Numis upgrade to 250p ! Might come good again in a few years ! The update caught me out, I was waiting for the half year report next month, seems unlikely that things will turn around in 1month.

'chart looks dire!'.....ST121, are you looking at the same chart as me ?? AHT has been in an uptrend for about 15years. In any uptrend there's always profit taking and pullbacks, which if your not holding can create opportunities to jump on board or if your holding, panic and sell.

Everything appears to be on track and results to be in line with expectations. Did I miss something as to why we are currently 3% down ?

Having just spoken with AHT, I can confirm that the results are Wednesday 2 Sept and not Tuesday as indicated in the RNS.
