Glad im out of here didnt lose much . But it never seems to do anything for us shareholders . ALWAYS JAM TMW
The cashew facility is running 2 years late. That's it in a nutshell.
Nothing to do with the gods unfortunately - everything to do with credibility
no good profitability going up 35% if share issue does too.
market has a pretty good idea how DKL operates - and for that reason stays clear
Indeed - these great figures have prompted a big rise in sp as buyers flood in buoyed and excited by this dynamic and well-run company ... No, wait, the sp has fallen yet again - over 35% down from where it was a month or three ago. Ye gods.....
The ultimate dog ate my homework share. Maybe the recent seller got wind of this cashew nut issue in true DKL fashion. Oh for a board that produces more than just excuses. It is not just the excuses in themselves but their sheer volume and regularity!
EPS would be €0.002 - rather than €0.2?
- €1.5m PBT / the ridiculous 560m shares in issue
monthly production and sales updates continue to be promising which is great - we need assurances also on the other side to support share price
WH Ireland today retain their 9.5p fair value target price for a change.
Their forecasts are for €38.5m revenues this year (up from €31.2m last year).
EBITDA is set to rise to €4.7m this year (from last year's €2.7m) and then €5m next year. The latter equates to €1.5m PBT and €0.2 EPS.
They conclude:
"Forecasts / Valuation
Having recently adjusted our forecasts to account for lower cashew production in FY23E and FY24E, today’s update on the cashew project is in line with our updated expectations and we leave our forecasts unchanged this morning. Although DKL may not see the full benefit in FY24E, the cashew operation, once at full production, will add a step change in profitability and cash generation for the group. With proactive steps being taken to bring this project to its full potential, we see our 9.5p fair value as well underpinned."
So revenue for the third quarter 2023 for cpo/pko is E 9.431m so well ahead of the E4.183 for the comparable period of 2022.
Pity the cashews are not doing as well as expected because of the machinery. Are we getting compensation from the Italian supplier ?
Excellent problem addressed
We have taken further actions to supplement the Italian equipment including ordering additional shelling machines from an external party which are expected to be installed in November 2023. We have successfully used these alternate shelling machines when initially awaiting delayed equipment from the Italian supplier and the installation of these machines should drive a further a material increase in processing volumes.
The September CPO production update is excellent, with CPO sales up 154% and PKO sales up 98% on last year.
This is set to hugely outweigh the year on year CPO price decrease and lower extraction rates.
In summary, H2 is set to "materially outperform" last year.
Cashew production in Q3 is up 134.5% on Q2 (from a standing start!), but as usual there are glitches in the Italian machinery's performance which DKL are having to work around - I hope the manufacturers are going to compensate DKL in some way. Cashews are getting there - slowly - but with some stuttering.
Evening j/k and my thanks for that. My question is what accountability is there at Dkl? 9 years of taking us backwards and the same faces mostly present. Is the market misvaluing DKL? If so the Board should be falling over themselves to buy in the market. If not then there should be some accountability.
Evening fk1, it's on Wednesday this week.

When is this being held j/k?
The board are pleased to update shareholders that sales and revenues continue to on par with expectations. ( However we will not be putting our hands in our pockets to buy any shares - what it won’t say but we know it to also be true)
I’ll add this to the bingo:
- volumes continue to gradually improve
- issue of equity
- AC12
- Hastings, like the battle
Let's have a go at the DKL bingo for the next update!
I say production has fallen because of wetter weather than usual but fortunately the last ten days in October 23 from 15 October have seen a return to more normal levels.
Even worse is that these share sales are always a prelude to bad news in Dkl's case. The board will say it is coincidence but the sheer regularity of it is something to behold even for AIM. Might be case of being wilfully blind who knows buy given their disdain for us shareholders in issuing shares, false promises, questionable initiatives and dreadful underperformed I hope I can be forgiven for not putting anything past them.
Yes Fen, over i m sold today. The mm's are doing well to hold the price level absorbing so many shares
Sale after sale after sale. The one stock I wish I had never set eyes on. ...
No longer. Very quick revision from online broker. It's now 2.70 to buy.
Thanks all, will report back.
This morning. Tightest I have seen for months.
I can buy 100,000 at 2.53 and sell similar amount for 2.525
DKL has absolutely zero market credibility - nobody cares about positive production and sales updates because its irrelevant - if subsequent board actions then make it impossible for retail shareholders to make a return whats the point.
it needs active intervention now - the board needs to formally state it is done with ridiculous dilutory share issues and then install a dividend asap so retail s/h see some sort of return.
and even then its going to take a couple of years to filter meaningfully through the share price - with DKL people won't believe it until they see it now over a medium to long term period.
this is where 10 years of board self interest has led us - its an utter disgrace!
To see two early uncrossed trades so close together and at a substantial discount from the closing prices yesterday. This has pushed the DKL price even lower and I fear that the 100,000 trade at 2.521 is in fact a purchase as my internet broker is offering this price for sales and now only buying at 2.38
Just ask them when they are going to resign for incompetence.
This is not a technology company. - Let alone that there are a dozen projects outstanding that haven’t been completed in the last 5 years; - if the numbers were that great, why can’t simple things be paid in cash rather than issuing new shares that no-one wants to pay a fair price for?
Why haven’t the directors bought a couple of million shares each rather than ripping off retail shareholders?
When are we going to see the 9p valuation, suggested by the “independent” broker (we are paying)?? - For years by the way!
