Added some more today, so much news in the coming months could send this flying.
great price here for any fence sitters... massive near term upside
No problem. I was just sharing some information to a group that enjoyed being a part of. I wish you all the best!
My mistake with 4D was getting drawn in to all the hype here. Any news is hyped up for weeks, then when the RNS comes with the sentiment and expectation already to high. The company doesn't make money at the end of the day. I was happy to breakeven but I truly wish you all the best. I am sure that the company will get something profitable out this year or next with all the trials at the midway points.
Steve1981... thanknyou for the advice. Let's focus on 4D Pharma on this board.
Haha, I keep an eye on 4D just to make sure I didn't make a big mistake in selling. Crypto is the biggest revolutionary movement ever in the financial system history. Ethereum now has more capital in it than the Bank of America. (Bitcoin has X3) If you don't like to take high risk then Ethereum is a prime example of the low risk high gains in crypto. This project is going to be $5K by July after the update and then minimum $10k by December. This is solid investment and very early days to make life changings gains over the next years .
You're right @skier1. Regardless of what we think will happen with the share price we should try to remain positive to help attract more investors. I can't think of a better pharma company to invest in right now. The "multiple shots on goal" thing is all the confidence you need.
Lol. Just a dozen posts here and it's already a relentless tsunami of misery!
Just $100 invested in SafeMoon crypto in March 2021 had become $10,000,000.00 by April 2021.
Nasdaq is going to be key to unlocking the billions here for 4D. US investors are much more sophisticated. Americans always have a strong lens on the future.
Biden's billions are pouring into cancer research. 4D has a wave of major results arriving in coming weeks. Bugs for drugs are hot.
The stars are aligning for DDDD.
It's more that the share price fell after positive news. People expected more I guess? I think 4D will come off well longterm, just got to ride the ups and downs. Even if it falls after June news it will likely set a new floor higher than today.
Can't compare with SNG, this has multiple shots on goal and is going after cancer.
He does have a point to be fair. I think it's just an AIM thing. Look at what happened with SNG on Friday for another example. I'm kinda expecting the June update here to be hyped up in the weeks leading up to it followed by another fall in share price. Not sure I agree on moving money into crypto though. Rewards can be good but losses will also be high when the bear market hits. Some people are going to lose a lot of money there.
Thanks Steve. Why post on a board when not invested? Good luck with crypto. I’m happier with something tangible and potentially revolutionary. Next six months are very exciting here. Beginning in June with next readout. So much in the pipeline. Multiple shots on goal. Not long now. Dyor.
I was holding 4D for 8 months. Every announcement was met with high expectations and then followed by SP falling. I took it all out and now trading crypto. Rewards are amazing if you know what your doing
Dont forget -- microbiome-led therapies are on the brink of mainstream medical acceptance. It is a huge new macro trend.
Drugs from bugs.
The stars are aligning here for DDDD.
Nah, it’s $10b and £40 a share.
The Woodford scandal crushed the share price down... Nasdaq / Merck cash has stabilised it... Biden's US billons to "end cancer", and 4D's pipeline of at least 5 major results this year (like MRx0518 and Merck Keytruda), are ready to push the price back up.
It's a classic turnaround story here. Years of misery are now swinging to hope.
Time to resist that urge to talk everything down. Think like Nasdaq. Look to the future.
Broker valuations make much more sense for companies with on-going cashflows and even more for companies that are profitable. IP is much harder to put a value on and especially for companies in novel sectors such as biotherapeutics. That's all the more the case for companies such as 4D whose programmes/projects are described in their own (recent) investor prospectus as "very early stage". OK that was probably deliberately conservative language by lawyers for investors in the US that are not averse to litigation. But, objectively, 4D is still at a relatively early stage.
Having said that, if one or more of the oncology projects continue to show strong signs of success and look more and more likely to continue into phase III, then a valuation of £3.50 will begin to look increasingly conservative. So between now and the completion of phase II of oncology trials and IF we get positive readouts, the gap between current valuation and the one at pre-phase III (possible uplift in valuation 5x to 10x from here) will be progressively bridged.
The uplift in Seres valuation gives us a rough indication of what we might expect. Whilst the uplift of Seres valuation was after successful phase III trials in CDI (vs. a putative success of a phase II 4D trial), AND it was the first major demonstrable success of a biotherapeutic, it can't be compared to the significance of a putative success of a biotherapeutic in the fight against cancer - especially when it could be to an extent agnostic to the type of cancer.
Now, without underestimating at all the importance of 4D's work on fronts other than oncology (notably on neurogenerative diseases and pancreas), the curent valuation is, probably, largely on the back of the oncology programmes (e.g. 60-80%?).
I'm surprised that the company has gone relatively or completely quiet on three fronts:
(i)phase II ?f covid trials especially since the fast tracking was portrayed a year ago as a success (rightly so). Also as of management report last October the results were due by Dec 2020
(ii) next stage re IBS: is the company going to proceed with phase III with a partner or without? Or, will the project be parked for some time?
(iii) the vaccine project. Yes we do understand there are confidentiality provisions in place but we can be told in general terms about progress to-date and what's expected to happen in the next quarters.
Hence, an update re (i) to (iii) above can't come early enough.
Finally, short contracts remain below 0.5% according to short tracker which - that's hardly a conclusive piece of evidence but coupled to the fact that some important updates are expected to come in May / June, we can afford to be slightly more optimistic than we'd be normally...
I don't think anyone on here believed a US blogger had given a (conservative) valuation of £40 a share. £3.50 does seem a realistic midterm target though.
Yeah, that sounds more like it.
Yes it was $40 in Nadaq.. sorry boys n girls but that equates to £3.50 to us. Still very good and the start of something that could be very special bags
The source of the $40 a share is I think Chardan but they are broker stateside and it relates to the LBPS price.
I made up the microbiome Tesla quote and posted it on Stocktwats.
Don’t agree this forum is filled with “miserable investors”. I, for one am very bullish about the future. Patience is key. If you could post that link to your Twitter speculation that would be great, otherwise it’s just words....
FOURTY BAGS?!
I'm sold.
One US blogger recently pegged DDDD's valuation (conservatively) at $10b, or £40 a share. It currently sits at £1. Upside potential here is staggering.
Yeah, me too, go wild mate!
Although I prefer the term 'quietly confident' investors; there isn't much negativity around here, just boredom.
"Are you our new resident chief ramper, skier?"
I for one welcome our new ramping overlords.
