They had said they would only notify large/significant contract awards; this is a renewal not new business and I bet none of us think it is large at less than $200k a year. It does make me wonder what other businesses on the books 🤷

Significant how? In UKP it’s approx £150k ish per year and if they deem that to be worthy of an RNS and have released no other award wins/renewals then surely the question must be asked what is keeping the lights on.
Like everyone on here I so want this to succeed - holders from pre suspension days are over a barrel with this as they have taken a mighty thumping and I understand that getting something back is better than nothing but they need a lot more than what is coming through ……. Patience, and an awful lot of it, will be required but the question has to be for how long.
Also anyone who thinks this size of contract is not significant probably needs to readjust their expectations and investment case. £25 k is not worth reporting..but £400k certainly is..watch the SP motor from here

My earlier Cirata posts show that I advocated patience and belief. Still do but that doesn’t mean I think things are progressing well or are they have enough coming in. £400k OVER 3 years - not each year- doesn’t even pay his salary for 2024 …. It’s the fact that they deemed this RNS worthy by their own metric that I find quite alarming.
In a previous update CEO boldly announced b/e this year and market leader within 4 years after setting out his stall on revamped GTM strategy etc. This was followed by an admission on the last update that progress across all fronts was ‘significantly slower ‘ than had been anticipated.
I’m sure, like you and all investors here I will reevaluate my position after the next strategic update. Steady as she goes will elicit a different response to jam tomorrow.
Sinitta - The GM contract was slightly higher i think. They did basically say that they wouldn’t realise RNS’s for renewals and none significant contracts, post GM RNS. So i guess this is a significant renewal??? The market doesn’t seem to reflect that this morning.

Not necessarily. Its retrospective.depends when you joined the journey. If you are part of the new Cirata and bought shares at 44p everything is going in the right direction and the facts are as they are. If you got burnt during wandisco,no news is going to soften that blow, and you’re going to nit pick for the next 2 years until we get back up there again.

I would feel so much better about this if a £150k pa contract was NOT considered significant enough to warrant an RNS …. And it is the only contract RNS they have released in some time. So it is concerning . By contrast, This was the last on October 6, 2023 - and was, I believe, worthy of an RNS……

Warning, this is not a bizarre post, it's just someone with industy knowledge commenting.
It's not a new contract, it's a renewal. In most software companies I worked for, sales guys are not even involved in renewals, let alone the CEO.
It's almost desperate to annouce this. We're towards the end of May and still nothing significant is happening.
Regarding the Google Marketplace listening, this is merely something to make procurement easier, but it's not like you would pick a migration solution just like an app for your iphone... a migration is a mission critical project, you don't just download an app and see how it works. 3 years ago, they made a lot of noise about being listed on Microsoft Azure marketplace, native Azure integration. So far 2 ratings. They also listed on the AWS store, didnt bring in much revenue either.
I smiled when I saw Kelly's about waiving his bonus, his fixed portion doesn't qualify as petty cash and for what would he be eligible to receive a bonus 🤔 ?

Last few posts made smile..as someone said on another forum..some on here are talking as if someone is holding a gun to your head to invest here..you don’t like what you see then move on..simples. I mean what dimwit would continue to post on a forum where they don’t believe it to be a good investment.

I lost money during the Wandisco days, don't deny that, but the 'scum' I mentioned in my previous post are hard facts.
If people celebrate a renewal as a new contract or think that a listing on GCP's marketplace will automatically result in big revenue streams, the lack of realism and industry knowledge gives me a bad feeling.
Not eveyone woth a different opinion is troll.
