Mercadooly, the joining fee will be the best investment you ever made in COPL imo.
Get on the zoom call, it will be worth it and I think you will be pleasantly surprised, actually I know you will be, its worth 45 minutes of anyone's time.
I submitted my info to CAG, but haven't had and email of receipt or response. So no information on how to join any of these calls. Is anyone else still having this problem?
Why so confident Stas? This scummy lot will have huge pockets and the best lawyers to counter MC. I’ll be joining out of blind hope than confidence.
Nubby, did you sent to coplaction@ceclegal.co.uk ???
You need to register with Michael Cotter, not the CAG
Hi BoldlyGo,
sorry for the confusion - Yes - i sent the email to coplaction@ceclegal.co.uk
I sent it on 24 April - not sure if thats too late or i should have received a response by now.
Why so confident Stas?
Because I know what these lot have been up to, the evidence is compelling and building and is more than circumstantial and likely not just civil, but I expect will be shown to be criminal, jail time likely awaits!
- Continual lies, misdirection and fraud - Continual is used in its correct term as is fraud.
- I like MC, his attitude is in my opinion absolutely on point as is his experience, enthusiasm and I suspect tenacity. Past results show he is capable.
- Strength in numbers, we know as an example the post office scandal got nowhere until it got media attention, show me someone better placed to drum up media attention than a commentator in the FT, The Times, Money AM etc.. Add into this the dislike of publicity many of who are involved in this will want to avoid.
- We are right time right place, people involved in this scam have done this thing before, all without challenge thus they have become greedy, arrogant and with that sloppy - our trail is easier to follow than Dorothy's in Oz.
- No one likes being openly mugged by already wealthy, greedy sharks that would steal from someone selling the big issue if it gave them more - for many, including me, this fight is not just about regaining your investment but is personal, its about gaining justice, these are the strongest feelings that provide the best support, I have remarkable staying power, I hope and expect many others do, though I don't expect this is going to be as long winded as some think.
- We will win!
I agree wholeheartedly Stas
Many have been before the likes of Cowan, Richardson, Gupta, Sociopatholland, Gaffney, Ludwig, Anavio, Tennyson, JBER, Kerns and Kravitz.
Milken, Boesky, Madoff, Cameron etc etc etc.
All liars and corruption backed by friends in power that take from the middle and lower classes and give to themselves.
This needs to stop for the fabric of society to remain intact.
We have a duty to fight this for our own and family sakes but also for society sake. We can’t allow tyranny and corruption to be the norm.

Hi stas/all
Has there been any indication if we do win, what that might look like? How will we even be paid if the co have gone bust, how much are we likely to get back if we do win and how long that might take? Iv not been able to get on any zoom calls and I’m just trying to work out weather paying up to almost 5% of my money to fight this case after already losing £8000+. I’m worried it’s throwing good money after bad money or if it does cost between £300-500 the win would have to be substantial to make that money back plus my investment.
I’d like to add I appreciate all the good work that has been done here fighting the good fight.
What is yours/others expectation should we actually win?
Appreciate any reply’s
Thank you
Struv, its imperative you get on a call, there's one today.
Target is to get 100% back + justice, however even a low ball 70% return would give you back £5,600, as opposed to doing nothing and being assured of getting nothing, and knowing inside that you helped let them get away with it due to your inaction - the choice is yours.
Your input is not likely to be 5% of you original stake, more like for you around half that maybe £200 risk to get back maybe between £5,600 - £8,000.
Seems like the best investment you would have ever made in COPL in my estimation.
It would be nice to get our investment back but we've been excluded from any gains in a company that had huge potential. What about some compensation for that?
Next deadline to look out for ?
Qualified bid Deadline: 2nd May TOMORROW''
Notice of Auction: 6th May
Auction: 8th May
REGARDS...
Thanks for the response Stas sounds promising. So who exactly would be forced to pay us the money back if COPL are no more and would we ever be likely to get the funds back in our lifetime if we did win the case?
I will try my best to get on the Thursday zoom call
Thanks again for your reply’s
Join the call - your questions are answered there.
Coco - If it went to litigation ie not settled out of court we could try and obtain litigation insurance or some other from some other backer. (As I heard it)
Hi, I was in the call today too. I thought it was pretty compelling.
My understanding was that the chances of us "losing" would only happen if it moved to live litigation. That is, if we couldn't reach an out of court settlement that we were satisfied with. If that happened, I think what I heard was that we would purchase insurance to cover the costs you mention in the event that we lose and have to pay costs.
Someone please come in and correct me if I've got that wrong.
Could someone just clarify. I opened a share dealing ISA in my wife’s name. Does she have to register with Michael separately?
Treefern.
Yes you need to send both into him.
There are so many targets for this class action and many of the targets have insurance to cover such eventualities.
Plenty of money to go after for MC and the his clients.
Plus at the same time the financial authorities will be running alongside.
So who are the proceedings actually being served against - who / what names!? 🤔😮.
Can someone clarify WHO are we going to be suing, AND, do they have enough insurance cover to pay out a successful claim.
Finwit - I sent him screen shots of holdings in both our accounts. I didn’t catch at the end of today’s Zoom whether or not my wife needs to register separately or whether I can deal with both??
