Yes.
Here's a clue......read your own inconsistent posts.
Let me explain it another way FD. I still am a buyer under 1.75 or should I say under 1.5 now as I think in the long run this will come good. It’s a case of averaging out a holding over a period of time, generally because in the O&G world it does take time and plenty of it. In the meantime it doesn’t mean like yourself I have to big up this stock for my own needs ignoring the potential downsides/delays/dilution. Your failure to understand that just goes to show your lack of knowledge in this game. Along with your agenda driven posts that once you buy a stock you must then only think and post positive and expect banging RNS’s weekly.I am allowed to state it how I see it, and you’re allowed to post your biased holders points but we can all see who’s the more genuine holder. The one who posts it how it is or the one who posts it how they want it to be!!!
So now we know who the seller is.
Is that RNS saying that Canaccord bought or sold a large amount of it's holding?
Any reason that you can see why it would sell such a small amount? Is it sign that it intends to sell more but can't do it in too large chunks ad that would collapse the price?
I don’t know what their plans are, but from memory they were one of the takers of the placing shares last summer. Maybe they’re just reducing their exposure and balancing portfolios . Fairly normal really and it seems like there is plenty of demand around these levels and a good opportunity for smaller investors who are prepared to take the risk. Better to buy a million @1.45p than 1.75p if you think it’s going to be 5p on good news ;)
It says they have been sold on behalf of clients.
Amtech we have differing investing strategies, unlike most you are a Trader where most are LTH's who select an investment on a basis of Risk and Reward. Every investment has risks and the Old maxim "never invest more than one is prepared to lose" is something every experienced investor considers when buying an asset. Having investments in SEIS and EIS schemes am probably more experienced than most, when others here, regard it as a "game" frankly says a lot about the individual.
In so far as only seeing "blue skies", what absolute rubbish, I amongst others criticised the way the placing was conducted last year and pointed out the "African" connection. So don't paint a picture that some of us think everything in the garden is rosy.
Posters who blatantly disregard statements made by the BOD, "fully funded until the end of 2021", by persistently stating a placing is coming are not proper investors. Chancers would be a better term. Unless, Amtech has inside knowledge at the OGA, any speculation about Licence awards is pure conjecture and only serves one purpose...….scaremongering to influence the SP.
A little like Laurel and Hardy, Amtech and A1m1 were a team who caused amusement.
I do both FD, I invest and trade as a share goes along until I have a free holding (if all goes well that is), hence the reason I state their will be a placing if they get any new license with the partner or not. It’s just looking ahead and been ready for all possibilities and opportunities, nothing wrong with that. As far as I can remember from last year you where adamant Shell would be drilling last year and discarding any talk of a placing until one turned up or an sp of 1.6 for that matter. Anyways its all by the by now as the placing happened and so did the 1.6p. So what happens now, we’re halfway through Q1 so within 6 weeks of potential news from Shell regarding a well investment decision. I won’t go into the ins and outs of that as you’ll know what will happen in both scenarios.
