Can't help but think this would have been up more today if it had a different name. Sounds terribly like another unfortunate company.
Results due 27th Nov
Cerillion recognised as a Visionary for second consecutive year in Gartner's 2017 Magic Quadrant for Integrated Revenue and Customer Management for CSPs
The Company continued to perform well in the second half of the financial year, and results for the full year are expected to be in line with market expectations. Revenues and EBITDA for the 12 months are anticipated to show increases of 8.2% to 16.0m and 16.3% to 3.6m, respectively1.
Any views on this drift down?
a before e except after c!
I was hoping the mms or sellers would think this was associated with the 'other' share that's been tanking recently, a cheap buy in would have been appreciated here
All seems to have gone to sleep after the recent "action". Views??
So the directors sold a few million shares, but still hold very significant percentages (40% plus??). I see the SP reduction as over-kill after this, and the election, and expect a solid recovery to follow. Nothing fundamental has changed here, and it is a good business, just that the SP has followed down to near the sale price that the directors set to ensure the shares moved in a fairly illiquid stock.
All at the expense of us, the small investor. Thanks Cerillion.
I see that Gervais Williams has gobbled up another 700000 shares at a hefty discount paid for by us small investors. Thanks for nothing Cerillion.
I`m dumping part of my shareholding in the morning, so that will help out in a small way.
14.1% of the shares going to Institutions at a discount and we dont get a slice of the action!!. What a rip off! Thanks for nothing Cerillion.
Cerillion continues to make very encouraging progress and the financial results for the six months ended 31 March 2017 reflect this. Revenue is up by 10% to £7.5m, helped by strong software revenue sales, and adjusted profit before tax is up by 31% to £0.9m, in line with management expectations. New orders secured in the period were also strong, rising by 37% to £9.4m, a new high for a six month period. The Company remains well positioned for the second half of the year and we continue to work on a strong pipeline of new customer opportunities.
Cant see why!!
Agree! only need to hold till end of closing day of XD date (ie yesterday)... if i sell now i am still entitled to the dividend. TBH its now overbought on the technicals and really due some profit taking..... i am in at £1.275 and now up 16% on £2500 investment ....£400+ so possibly Monday will bank that .... use it to pay for my FT.com / Shares magazine subscriptions... I still remain favourable on this. nice to see some posters here.
no, you only have to hold shares on the day it goes ex-divi, you can sell anytime after that and get the divi, done similar on a few shares I didn't want to hold (not this one I hasten to add, been in since 1.08 & topped up at 1.23 :)
Nah, as I understand it you have to hold from the ex-dividend day to the hold date, the day it's paid out, 6th Feb, to get paid. That's why shares usually drop by the dividend % on ex-dividend day (though with Cerillion it went down & then back up again on ex-div day - maybe people were buying the dip!) Anyway, I too got in on Shares' recommendation at 128p and happy so far. Was wondering if there'll be a trading update soon or if it's been tipped elsewhere to explain the good SP rise. Let's hope it sticks.
they will get the divi, maybe that's all they were waiting for
I believe sp goes XD today? if that's the case why sell shares today... one person sold a batch....
Resistance broken... goes XD on the 5th. whats not to love about this minnow.
Posting in the hope to bring some chatter into this quiet BB. I bought in here on 25NOV at 129p after reading a buy comment in Share Magazine. Good RNS on a contract win today has moved the SP. from a technical point when i bought in i had 138p as my target which is about 7% swing trade profit. I see 138p/139 as the resistance points here first set on 13/04/16 and then again 27/09/16 (double top resistance). I will be watching to see if it can break 138p.. if not i'll just scalp my small profit and leave the original sum invested. Borgy
you were saying ? 20% higher now !
Today's news reads well but think this is a good chance to offload. Can see the current downward trend continuing until guidance over trading conditions in the latter part of this year is provided. Looks a little expensive based on trading statements compared to other profitable small-caps like TON, NTBR, RBN, ITQ, HAYT, ZMNO but certainly worth watching to see how price action develops from here. Targeting 80p range
