i am very bullish on all commodities especially gold silver, i think they will both lower IR and the dollar will carry on devalueing. and gold should carry on rising $850 short to medium term . IMHO
if the USA & UK cut interest rates this autumn they could be the gainers...what do you think?
leedskier what are your favourite resources plays especially gold ones ?
nice article on minesite just read it, general jist that Severstal will have to bid minnium of 232p when they reach over 30% of cer shares. http://www.minesite.com/nc/minews/singlenews/article/celtic-resources-could-find-it-has-more-than-one-suitor/1.html annoyed as just put an up bet on mcr and wish had kept the cash to bet on this takeover by christmas??
MOSCOW (Thomson Financial) - OAO Severstal has hired Morgan Stanley to advise it on the possible acquisition of Celtic Resources Holdings Plc, a bank spokesman told Interfax. a bid wish had more of these golds going to the moon 2.40 is still cheap IMHO. Gold production est of 90 000 Oz in 2007 at cost $350 with 3 mines and projects in Kazakstan which is the best country in the region.
Severstal buys 22% in Celtic LONDON (ShareCast) - Russian miner Severstal has acquired 22% of Celtic Resources from Aton International through its subsidiary Bluecone. The group said it bought about 12.3m, but did not disclose any financial details of the deal. "Severstal (Advertisement) believes the purchase of a 22% stake in Celtic (LSE: CCP.L - news) , with its attractive mining assets in Russia and Kazakhstan, to be an excellent investment," said Roman Deniskin, chief executive of Severstal.
nice to see 22% of company bought yesterday on here says at price of 220p/share. also statement mentions uping production to 300,000 oz and increasing reserves. with 56million shares rufly in issue this share looks to me that it has a long way to go.
pleased with myself hambledon dropped to 16p yesterday these up to 205 today. gold mkt is very close, matter of weeks before it breaks out for next up leg.
Three brokers rating this as a buy. See todays news.
just sold hambledon at 17.55p to buy these at 160p think long term there a good play seem to have quite. a few projects and cash to get them going
