Their drugs trials will hopefully get sniffed out by Big Pharma. That is where the shareholder rewards will be.
Saw them pop up on here. Also the large trades on Monday. But strangely quiet here today. Personally would like to see an update as to how contract wins are coming along. Emailed the company but yet to receive a reply
What platform did you see these on?
Talking to my broker it looks like two sales.
2x 25,000 trades for yesterday at 156p. Buys or sells?
Delayed trades popping up now!
Hi Brains.
I am watching this space as well.
I hope that the CEO gets his marketing team cranked up. With this THC based painkilling business in its infancy, nevertheless I think Celadon's capacity can be absorbed quite quickly into the market, even though they have signed up £3 mill annual sales from a potential of 90 mill.
I also hope the NHS quickly adopts this medication for regular prescription. The market would be enormous. Jim Short should be lobbying the Treasury/Health Secratary. This could help them save millions from removing the additional draw backs of opioid medicines.
Massive drop off in volume these last couple of days, are the sellers done and shares mostly in sticky hands? Certainly hope so. Any opinions? IMO GLA DYOR.
Nice and quiet here, consolidating around 155p level. Happy when it's like this, waiting patiently for what I hope will be some more positive news announced. IMO
The large investors are holding tight.
Says it all really.
Just had a listen to the presentation, says it all to me. Happy holding and looking forward to the future here.
Year end results and investor presentation tomorrow, really looking forward to this.
Like you Swanny I was surprised by the share price action now that financing is there, it was the only thing I was thinking needed sorting. All done now.
So for me this really is a comfortable investment, good management, contract win with potentially more to come. Roll on tomorrows results. IMO , DYOR
Today's RNS looks to me to be an excellent deal for Celadon, and will enable them to expand more rapidly towards cash flow positive. I am surprised this has not boosted the share price a bit more today as this was just what they required IMO.
I have high hopes here.
So, contract won, major of West Midlands seems to be supportive of Celadon, and now financing deal with a high net worth investor. I could be wrong but to me this all looks very good. A few sellers about this morning, can't understand it but each to their own I suppose. Be nice to get some discussion going if anyone has an opinion?? All IMO and not investment advice etc.
Well, another week of progress here. First contract win, sounds like a decent one too. £3 million minimum worth of sales over the next 3 years, with a potential for the contract to be extended by a further 2 years. Further to that, multiple expressions of interest in the sale of their product which Celedon are currently in contract discussions about.
The mayor of the west midlands has visited Celadon, I particularly like where he quoted 'I was delighted therefore to have the opportunity to visit Celadon, which really is at the cutting edge of cannabis-based medicines and has a key role to play in our future plans.' Sounds to me like he is very supportive of Celadon.
And finally, we have confirmation of results a week Monday followed by an investor presentation later that day. Really looking forward to this.
All in all I'm very happy here, seems like a pretty solid company to be invested in and I look forward to continued news flow. I didn't think James Short would hang around once they had the Home Office licence, and it seems he really has made great progress. A fantastic CEO to have at the helm.
All in my own opinion, not investment advice etc... Have a great long weekend all.
A somewhat muted response from the market.
CEl needs to speed up production as demand will outweigh availability for the time being.
Ha ha Pad',
Good one, a future multi bagger. Mind you this is a patient game.
Tiny top up this morning for my child's SIPP.
Steady on, someone must have emptied their piggy bank this morning, otherwise it is just a case of intstitutional investors holding.
As per listing rules, the Company’s Full Year results for the year ended 31 December 2022 will be announced by the end of June.
Anyone any idea as to when we should be expecting full year results?
Sounds like we are selling shovels in a gold rush.
Having listened to the interview myself, I feel very happy with my investment here. To me it is clear James Short has a plan and seems very confident. I am puzzled by the selling, but I suppose there is always going to be a seller. Results were on 29th April last year, so my guess is that results will be on Tuesday, given Monday is a bank holiday. Always open to other opinions if anyone has any?
All in my own opinion and always DYOR.
Try digging a bit deeper. There have been interviews where revenues have been discussed
In the absence of detail on meaningful revenue, and or partnerships that help Celadon to scale, I am not surprised the sp has slid a little.
We have seen how the sp can move up aggressively on low volume and hence I am not overly concerned.
From an accounting perspective remember that Celadon now has a market cap of over £100m, but has yet to announce revenue, and a purist may therefore ignore the tremendous upside potential and focus on the now.
I was dissappointed that Canaccord reiterated the speculative buy rating for Celadon and felt that they had failed to understand that the major risk of failure (not getting approval) had now been passed and this new signifcantly de-risked status afforded a stronger rating.
No doubt Celadon are working hard on partnerships, IP licencing perhaps to get scale.
Ironically their biggest issue I think is buiding enough facilites to lab specifications, to achieve scale and make the most of first mover advantage.
I have used share price weakness to add to a position.
