Hopefully so, that and any further contract wins. With what was alluded to in the recent RNS release I'm hoping for some more contracts to be announced. I've been doing some research on James Short and he certainly has a successful track record from what I can see. He owns 42.2% of the company, and the co founder Paul Allen owns 7.3%. in my opinion, you don't own that much if you are not confident. It's important to do your own research to make your own decisions, but I'm confident in management delivering here. All IMO and no advice.
Saw them pop up on here. Also the large trades on Monday. But strangely quiet here today. Personally would like to see an update as to how contract wins are coming along. Emailed the company but yet to receive a reply
Year end results and investor presentation tomorrow, really looking forward to this.
Like you Swanny I was surprised by the share price action now that financing is there, it was the only thing I was thinking needed sorting. All done now.
So for me this really is a comfortable investment, good management, contract win with potentially more to come. Roll on tomorrows results. IMO , DYOR
So, contract won, major of West Midlands seems to be supportive of Celadon, and now financing deal with a high net worth investor. I could be wrong but to me this all looks very good. A few sellers about this morning, can't understand it but each to their own I suppose. Be nice to get some discussion going if anyone has an opinion?? All IMO and not investment advice etc.
Well, another week of progress here. First contract win, sounds like a decent one too. £3 million minimum worth of sales over the next 3 years, with a potential for the contract to be extended by a further 2 years. Further to that, multiple expressions of interest in the sale of their product which Celedon are currently in contract discussions about.
The mayor of the west midlands has visited Celadon, I particularly like where he quoted 'I was delighted therefore to have the opportunity to visit Celadon, which really is at the cutting edge of cannabis-based medicines and has a key role to play in our future plans.' Sounds to me like he is very supportive of Celadon.
And finally, we have confirmation of results a week Monday followed by an investor presentation later that day. Really looking forward to this.
All in all I'm very happy here, seems like a pretty solid company to be invested in and I look forward to continued news flow. I didn't think James Short would hang around once they had the Home Office licence, and it seems he really has made great progress. A fantastic CEO to have at the helm.
All in my own opinion, not investment advice etc... Have a great long weekend all.
Having listened to the interview myself, I feel very happy with my investment here. To me it is clear James Short has a plan and seems very confident. I am puzzled by the selling, but I suppose there is always going to be a seller. Results were on 29th April last year, so my guess is that results will be on Tuesday, given Monday is a bank holiday. Always open to other opinions if anyone has any?
All in my own opinion and always DYOR.
Just my pennies worth as I sit here thinking about where this could go, all thoughts and opinions welcome. All very much IMO, always DYOR.
Chart wise, I believe it to be looking very nice. Like I said before, higher highs and higher lows being set. Doesn't take much to move the price here.
The BOD own a lot of shares between them, always like to see skin in the game.
My understanding is that Celadon are now the only UK company, and one of a few worldwide, that can sell this product. From James' interview, it seems that the market is there. So I imagine the next stage is sales?
Now, the big point. What do you all reckon the chances of a takeover are? GW Pharma is the example here, and I have seen them referenced both here and in James' recent interview. GW were bought out for $7.2 Billion, around £5.8 Billion on todays exchange rate. Current market cap here is just shy of £100 Million. That's about 58 bags from here!! Seems insane to think of that amount, but what's everyone's thoughts?
I also like the price action here. Looking on the daily chart over the past month or so it seems to be setting higher lows and higher highs, exactly what I want to see from a charting perspective. Ticks all the boxes for me
Personally sitting happy here with my shares. I have seen how fast this can move so it's just a waiting game for me. Recent updates and interview say it all for me really. Looking forward to more updates as and when they are released. IMO DYOR.
Dragged all the way down to here after receiving a licence to become the only UK company to sell their potentially life changing product. I will never understand the stock market and how this price action makes any sense....
