As ever. Celadon price action pre substantive updates, both good and bad, has indicated that it is a very leaky ship.

Totally unacceptable but the FCA has little desire to look into these things.

The silence is deafening.

We have all witnessed some shenanigans on AIM and in the case of Celadon with James ''I am Old School'' Short, I am dumbfounded at the ineptitude and highly irregular messages conveyed to investors.

During the last two investor calls, investors were promised greater clarity, and that has sadly not been forthcoming.

This company had a chance of emulating GWP, and it may still do so, but we are now hoping this can somehow be rescued, without investors being decimated.

I do feel deceived, which is very different to accepting a loss when the game is fair, and Directors are sharing some pain and not bleeding a company dry.

yes, trading and investing being very different strategies.

once they have the cash position sorted (and this deal with valeos finally shows the board get it) then institutional interest will no doubt pick up, as despite a couple of **** ups, the company may well emulate gwp and institutions will not want to miss out on that.

This is what stands out in the blurb this morning-

The Agreement increases the current capacity of Celadon by up to 20 times by utilising the services of Valeos as our outsourced manufacturing partner. By outsourcing growing, but utilising the IP of Celadon, the Company believes it will be able to bring forward its path to profitability.

I know about scaling IP and asked the Board to get on with it two years ago.

We now need to see Celadon complete more deals like this, as the main issue Celadon have is that fitting out labs to the required spec is very expensive, technically complex and can take years.

There is no point in having IP / know how, if you are constrained with limited capacity, and so the only way to get scale without burning tens of millions on fit-out is to licence your IP.

BOD are still mightily unimpressive and need to answer questions succintly.

I have been in since the listing. In that time I have tried to reach James Short on numerous occasions.

Why?

1. Well I would like a tour.

2. I know a little about scaling a business with valuable Intellectual property and I asked at the first AGM if Celadon was going to license the IP to grow rapidly. Got a non response.

3. Am an investor in a business that owns laboratories and there has been a lab ready for a new tenant for 6 months. Not saying it would be a perfect fit for Celadon, but surely the Board would like a quick look at the prospectus, given the limited capacity at the current facilty?

I received no reply ever, not even to a linkedin connection request.

The Board have demonstrated a huge degree of hubris I'm afraid.

The BOD should have known better.

Private investors and in this case the lender on the facility are notorious for funds being contingent on another deal closing, and it was very naive to enter into this with an individual.

Especially given the significant cash burn.

You choose certainty over the cheapest coupon on the debt, and that is not hindsight, it is basic running of a business...and Celadon is now short and caught.

The FCA need to look into insider trading.

I have followed this share a while and attended the AGM.

DYOR but my notes from that AGM were that:

The current facility can produce product for 50,000 patients.

In the Uk alone there are 3 million patients who may be eligible for a cannabiniod remedy.

At full capacity the facility can grow 10 to 15 tonnes of product a year and that could equal £90m annual revenue.

Companies in this space (pharmaceutical not cannabinoid - don't make that mistake ) trade on typically greater than 14* ebitda.

Factor in the 63m share float and you get the picture.

I see no reason why this therefore cannot emulate GWP and the management have demonstrated that they can execute.

This is a consistent theme with Celadon.

Have been invested since the get go, and the price action on minimal volume has always been of great interest.

Once we have a meaningful update then the SP will move very sharply.

I am involved in another IP rich, commercially sensitive, partner roll out model type business.

That team has no issue providing 3 year forecasts, detail and less of the ''we can't possibly go into that.''

The share price you muppet Barder is crucial. It is your job to execute to move the share price.

Same here. I puked out a lot of stock at a loss recently as Barder is useless.

I will now exit completely and revisit down the line.

Very disappointed, as this game changing product and its investors deserve a quality team to maximise the oportunity.
