Hi Mate, I never post on this board, but I wouldn't worry too much about your investment - this one is on my watch list. No one really knows a good entry point for a share. I'd just be patient. Unfortunately I don't have any spare cash to buy in to CAL but when some does appear, i've be buying.... GL
I bought in at 42 and it dropped soon after... i was expecting to stop at 50 level but it went south rather then north since then ive been waiting for 50 to sell. Ive got a lot of finance stuck in this so im just waiting till it goes to break even point so i can pull out with out making a loss. can has lost me a lot of money as i cant invest it in anything else because its tied up.
try 32p then i'm in for the long haul through the last few months of the recession before the sp climbs to £1 and over
I was also surprised by the scale of the decline in CAL this week. Appreciate it may be led by the general market, but seemed quite overdone. I have great confidence in this stock given the refinancing is now out of the way and pretty much all the bad news is built into the share price already re: level of tenancies etc. I can only see improvement from hereon in as the economy picks up. Sure it will be a bumpy ride at times, but the company's current share price reflects nothing of the potential upside when the sector returns to some level of normality. Good luck all.
zlee, I have a portfolio of approx 25 companies I think they all lost ground recently. CAL didn’t do too badly, look at the financial sector!! Bad news/figures, losses etc cause traders & public to panic stop losses hit etc. Hold your nerve I can’t see any reason why CAL fell. I believe they’re a good company and will be very profitable once things get back to normal.
Probably sound like bit of a rookie here but has anyone any idea why CAL lost so much ground in the last couple of days? I know the markets in general were falling but what made people sell CAL when there's there's a possitive outlook on commercial property at the moment?
sorry mate i may be wrong but i still think it has a wee bit to fall will get in when the sp goes to low 30s
