I've onlly recently started following CAB and have invested a small amount. So far I've been impressed wih the SP growth. Figures look good and potential looks good. I'm trying to get up to speed with the news and wondered if there were any known timescales with regards to the US License? Are we talking months / years?? Once applied for is it guaranteed to be issued? Thanks in advance.
Colin Digby, Head of Strategic Client Coverage of Crown Agents Bank said: “Financial institutions are struggling to access hard-to-reach markets, especially as counterparties retreat from these increasingly underserved and challenging geographies. This is why the AbbeyCross ABX Platform is so important. It addresses the technical integration challenges and the transparency dynamic as it provides an easy single access point to these markets via multiple LPs. It’s a real game changer for us, the institutions we serve and the wider market.”
It's great, but not game-changing. We are far far bigger than Abbey. But will give us exposure to more clients, so more revenue for us.
Wow, game changing nice find plutus1, thanks for posting the link. Things are moving fast especially in the lucrative emerging markets arena which gives CABP a competitive advantage
We are proud to announce our partnership with AbbeyCross as we join their ABX platform, a wholesale marketplace for emerging markets FX and payments.
As a strategic liquidity provider and one of the first banks to join the platform, we'll facilitate access to an extensive range of hard-to-reach market currencies and rates to financial institutions globally.

I'm doing my part lol
And yet a further bigger buy, someone taking up the free float which is shrinking, nice
Big buyer premium buy appeared, must be II ?
Don't forget about the US jobs recently listed at the New York office 😉, ramping up before the US license comes anytime 🚀🔥
Will open up a massive new market in an instant.
"We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Relationship Manager within our International Development Organisations, US Rep Office Front Office team reporting to the Head of the US Rep office with a dotted line to the Head of International Development Organisations Coverage. The role covering clients under the sub-segment that encompasses NGOs, Foundations and for-profit development organisations, with a strong focus on capturing FX flows and payments opportunities. This is a coverage and business development driven role, focused initially on executing an ambitious client acquisition strategy to build a portfolio managing the clients’ needs, cross-sell, and revenue optimization on an ongoing basis"
"Crown Agents Bank is a vastly growing and regulated UK bank that connects emerging and frontier markets to the rest of the world, using FX and payments technology. We are transforming the way payments and FX move through emerging markets, reducing friction so that more money gets to those who need it. Emerging markets payments are usually challenging, expensive, unreliable and opaque. Our solutions help fix these pain points. Ultimately, we connect traditionally hard-to-reach regions to global financial infrastructure, giving access to the best prices and the fastest, most reliable settlement"
Just looking at the company website states non white employees 42%
Female employees 22%
Who the hell invests in a company based on the colour of people’s skin or gender?
Just employ the best people works for Elon Musk.
Just need to sit on your hands here :-)
Tiny free float in play
Not many going to sell for peanuts, they know it's currently trading at a fraction of fair value.
Shorters have to close up
Institutions will want to build a position in this cash machine of a company.
US License, Asia office to come, European arm already trading.
IPO price of 330p will be smashed, I have absolutely no doubt, question is how quickly. If growth has accelerated with the new markets from 25% to say 35-40%, CABP will simply race away.
If growth is 50%+, then goodness gracious, Cannacords 585p is in play, and tbh should be.
Growth should be spectacular. And I expect margins, cash flow, Profitability to increase further as its all about economies of scale. Very light capital and resource delivery for the size of the company.
Fundamentals in black and white ultimately does all the talking.
I have asked a few times now is there any other company out there with CABP margins, Profitability, cash flows, growth with ZERO Debt, I'm guessing there simply isn't!!!
Always DYOR
This is absolutely fantastic news! Thanks for sharing it Jumbo.
CAB usually has really good exchange rates compared to other banks. With this, companies that used multiple banks to manage international transfers can reduce the number of partners banks they have to deal with. And the synergy (god I hate that word) with the Clearing House in the US is :chef's kiss:.
British banks are back in Latin America
Crown Agents Bank's growing business in Latin America, shows that UK financial institutions still have plenty to offer the region, writes Mauricio Munguia, Regional Banker at CAB...

It's on their balance sheet (that's where their software picked it up from), but it's not a loan in the normal sense. It's money sitting in the client deposit account. That money is shown as both an asset and a liability on the balance sheet, so effectively cancel each other out.
So the websites stating debt are incorrect entirely and its not on their balance sheet?
It's client's money that they put into Cab's platform. It's not a loan to Cab as such, it's client deposits that Cab will return (normally in a different currency).
Hi all,
I have seen numerous stock websites listing the debt of CAB in the hundreds of millions of £ but on the recent results RNS and from the posts here, it states debt free. Which is correct?
Bullbarz, why don't you write a post pointing out the risks / negatives, rather than asking a bullish investor to do it?
"Funny how you have NEVER commented on my posts for all these months, but a day after you trim your position, somehow it's triggered you! LMAO. Mind does work in mysterious ways, FOMO is real 😉"
Its got nothing to do with trimming my position.I think someone else commented on your mantras a while back which is why I didn't want to reinforce that. Its just a bit patronising when you trot out all these positives in a tickbox exercise without examining the negatives. I'm all for positivity but sometimes it gets a bit OTT.Enough said.
I think trading this can carry a bit of risk if you've sold out when the good news drops as the float is so small it can jump back up very quickly. If (when) the US license news drops I'd expect a very quick re-rate, and then who knows where it goes to if a bid comes in.
I've got a fairly significant amount of shares that I started buying at 48p with an overall average of 54p and I'm holding them until north of the IPO price as that will do very nicely for me :-)
Good luck if you can do it though!
Well you way up risk/rewards like every single business in the World!
Had YU last year, RR, ofcourse CABP, PXC has finally pulled through (profits coming straight in here), next will be Power Metal Resources.
There are simply too many traders around who will flip flop and change their tune accordingly which is sad. I'm a conviction investor, having done the research, happy to hold until true potential is realised.
Tell me another company with a 50% EBITDA margin, £0 debt, 25% growth, growing globally, profitable, 95% FCF of EBITDA, and aiming to x3 in next 3 years?? There won't be many, if any! If you tell me 1, il invest there aswell 😉
