Extract Resources AGM - 3:00pm, Fladgate etc etc etc WC2B 5DG
Obviously lots of time for questions, even under Covid rules!!!!!
What covid rules are you referring to?
"We strongly encourage and request shareholders to appoint the chairman as their proxy or rather than attend in person due to the Covid-19 associated risks."
"If your preference is to attend in person, please note that whilst we currently anticipate this will be possible we are committed to following government guidelines in place at the date of the meeting."
Taken, mostly, from the Chairman's letter , Notice of a General Meeting.
I'm sure your letter will include a similar if not identical statement.
I don't know how big Fladgate is or the dimensions of their conference rooms. Perhaps you could guide me?
Yes I can read, the onus is clearly on shareholders not to attend in person if possible. I'm sure adequate arrangements were made. These aren't rules either they are guidelines. You seem to be somehow trying to blame CB for meeting with shareholders. Desperate tactics once again from those that seem to have some kind of personal vendetta against CB. If he didn't meet shareholders you would be crying out that he's hiding. Jesus give it a rest!
My point is simple, the General Meetings are limited to a maximum 2 hours, with the possible exception of the 3:00pm meeting. Is placing a 2 hour limit resonable?
Shareholders can attend and meet CB, that I have not denied.
I'm just throwing it out there... the resolutions are available publicly and no one has been told they can't vote. You can instruct through your broker, or if you hold in your name, you can vote via form of proxy. If anyone doesn't have a form of proxy they should be available on the website or on the national storage mechanism provided by the FCA. Now as someone who works in stockbroking and has a tertiary role in helping facilitate these meetings, nearly every company I deal with is taking precautions, its not a tactic CB is using to hide. Its for the protection of everyone else, who are still have mechanisms in place to make sure their voices are heard at any company meetings.
I have registered to attend the AGM and have received only positive vibes in response.
Incidentally, at the meeting on Thursday, during the one-on-one session later on in the evening Colin was asked: "If I had £10,000 to invest in just one of your companies, what would be your recommendation?"
Of course Colin initially tried to get away with suggesting that the money should be spread over all of his companies, but when pushed to choose just one he said, (yes, you guessed it) - BZT!
BZT is, after all, Colin's favorite unloved child...
Caveat,
Good to hear and nice to see some more experiences and sensible posters appearing on this board.
I don't think I've seen you post on here before but see you are a long term XTR investor, therefore I take it very seriously that you have now taken an interest in bzt.
Thank you for your insight,.
Mr T
Hello Mr T,
It is true that I do not often post on this board, but I have been a shareholder for many years and I own a considerable number of shares ( I was even listed on the company website as having a significant holding not so very long ago) and I was involved in the very early stages of the formation of BAG - so I do have some history with the company.
After a long quiet period, I believe that things are about to pop here at BZT so don't be surprised if you hear a bit more from me in the coming weeks and months...
ATB.
Caveat,
I look forward to hearing more from you as it appears you do have a lot of insight in bzt and I am intrigued as to your reappearance now after a long period.
I recognise you from some other boards I have been heavily involved in over the years but cant remember which? was it SXX?
Mr T
To be fair, most AIM companies are saying the same thing. Vote remotely if possibly.
So Kendrick is ANOTHER CB company?!! I cant say it has ever crossed my radar.
