Even more stark if you look at the weekly equivalent
7m shares traded per day last year, compared to about 2m this year
"Great to see you have so much time on your hands to seek out irrelevance tho, just a shame that you have to reduce everything to confrontational and argumentative drivel."
Oh i think you will find the article is not "an irrelevence" except in your singularly argumentative warped mind.
Getting questioned by a Parlimentary Evidence Commitee is in fact quite a big issue, and not to be able to quantify your 'improvements' after 5 years is at best most embarrasing.
At least HM had the answers on hand, rather than not lol.
Boo rep probably briefed by some ex salesman or something and thought he could 'blag it', like salesmen always try.
Kudos, as i said for turning up, but no answers to predicatble questions?. . . . . . . well.
And as for the admission the 'centre of excellence' was closed because it couldnt cut the mustard - well, again, quite the clear honest admission. Yet you repeatedly claimed it was for "cost savings", rather than incompetance.
Finger on the wrong pulse again tradey.
It isn't normal trading, that much is obvious.
7m shares traded on this day last year, less than 3m again today.
is ****stan on a par with bangladesh??
do better
DTN
Post of the day
I note a bit about customers not giving a monkey about where thier items come from.
A bit like government this last 5 years encouraging us to drive an electric car when China has brought on line how many coal fired power stations
Kev is playing the joker at MF - https://www.fool.co.uk/2024/05/02/down-over-15-this-year-but-is-boohoo-a-buy-at-todays-share-price/
Why would anyone care daytrade about a committee that had none of it's recommendations accepted five years ago.
Fifteen companies invited, only two turned up. Boo was one of them so obviously taking the issue more seriously than most.
M&S couldn't turn up because they were in Bangladesh, that well known centre of employee rights, now that is something you couldn't make up.
Great to see you have so much time on your hands to seek out irrelevance tho, just a shame that you have to reduce everything to confrontational and argumentative drivel.
Looks quite nice for a celebration when boohoo rerates....
And not one after hours trade again same for the past 3 days.
Last 3 days have been identical Spk.
US markets flying again and dollar down so who knows L5. What I do know is they are playing tricks with the SP into the close then more tricks than Lassie with the UT!
Almost identical trading pattern to previous days JeremyP. Almost impossible to replicate if this was normal trading.
Head or tails tomorrow? Tails in the sand no doubt unless your BFD whom would call for balance as if the SP goes one way or the other, there is a reason for it. That last UT signals more shorting tomorrow. As big dipper gets closer, be here to get a ride. DTN is like a happy dog with so much excitement to come.
Absolutely brilliant write up highlighting how boohoo are one of the big players and also helping to change the industry for the better.
Most of the companies couldn't even be bothered to attend yet boohoo are there to help.
Nothing but positivity coming out of this as far as boohoo are concerned.
And they're right - they are a retailer and not manufacturer hence cutting that cost and selling then property.
I particularly liked this bit of information - you're an idiot if you think the customers really care about sustainability.
"According to GlobalData senior apparel analyst Pippa Stephens sustainability is one of the “least important” factors to UK consumers when shopping despite the increasing awareness of the “negative impacts of the fashion industry on the environment.”
Seems at least BOO had the decency to turn up for a grilling.

Come on rampers, up your game, you lot should have been onto this before a "troll" surely? ? ?
Shame the spokesman turned up so unprepared he hadnt got an answer (unlike HM) to what was clearly and sensibly an anticipated question that should have been prepd for.
"Reaney explained the biggest move at Boohoo has been purchasing products with sustainable ingredients such as organic cotton and recycled polyester to reduce emissions but he was unable to quantify how these changes have developed five years from the original evidence session." How slack is that!
Also seems the real reason for closing the Leic factory was because, despite the company repetedly badging it as a (quote) 'centre of manufacturing excellence' They closed it because they couldnt "meet desired manufacturing standards". Couldnt make it up could you. Misslabeling scandal come home to roost. So all the rampers "the BOD are cutting costs excuse" firmly dumped in the bin by the company itself, lol. Quality.
"He noted the Leicester factory was closed because it failed to meet the desired manufacturing standards the company had hoped for and the realisation that “we are a retailer, not a manufacturer,” he added."
Only two real options I think Jeremy.
Either it's a shorter margin trading or someone accumulating for a third party
And once again zero value add from the village idiots
Just when you think daytrade can't possibly embarrass himself any more....
Boo group had a good month all round in website visit growth.
In comparison ASOS was flat.
It's good to see people are looking at multiple pages, it makes them far more likely to buy I think
Yet more disgraceful "manipulation", people should be on the streets waving banners and protesting.
Quick BOoHOO get a petition started for an investigation.
Buy sand, its more lucrative
It's within range of next and and m&s for the bounce rate, seems 40% is about right.
Do you ever stop whinning ?
Shocking!
I'm now on to my local MP.
This is serous stuff 🧐
40% of the days trade in the UT! Jokers
Auction was at 34.10 let’s see where they take it….
Or low, of course, depending on how you're looking at it!!
