That might have been last year.......
Did someone important say ‘permit by the end of the year’? That’s why the MMs have dropped this today..
Hopefully that’s them out now.
Blimey
To busy rinsing his next victims
Aidan come on give us good news.its been a week
Hey - Joe Pooh, go do one.
Seller now done, hopefully get mountain permit in 2024,
They have 3 mines - just takes 1 to get going -
Downside is now in the price at half penny, hence the new investor.
That said, we are not talking big numbers are we with a market cap of 4m.
Fook you Joc pooh
Ps apols for bonkers time of posts, not in UK, tho looking forward to heading back for the festivities. However you choose to spend yours, GLA.
Moneymaker2015 @ 12:58, my only respectful disagreement with your post is I’d suggest “if” BMV ever receives the MTUP rather than “when”.
As I’ve mentioned, I’m not invested here but stumbled across BMV through keeping an eye on some of the GGP posters from way back in 2020. Jerseycrew was one such & they used to post here, tho not anymore apparently. Whatever the individual personal investment strategies, I wish them & all PIs all the best & a prosperous 2024. GLA.
Boldicus @ 13:13, genuine apologies from me. When I mentioned “the inexperienced or naive” in my previous post, I wasn’t referring to you personally but potential BMV investors generally. I’ve long believed BMV is a great story but have always cautioned (feel free to check my posting history) that a great story is all it may turn out to be. Colin & Charlie have been hocking this one around for yrs now & the oft repeated, not by BMV but on these BBs, line of “they bought a mine for X & just 2 1/2 yrs later sold it for Y” is simply not what happened. People are hearing what they want to hear & not hearing what is being said. With only one exception, Colin has NEVER claimed “& we sold it for Y”, that one exception being an interview during which he slipped up & immediately corrected himself with “well, we didn’t sell it” because that’s not what happened. Mine/mining company ownership in the Philippines is, by law, a bit more complex than elsewhere & therein lies the detail. A bit of Googling & DYOR will shed light for anyone who’s interested. Sincere apologies again Boldicus & GLA to those invested here.
Everything you say makes complete sense, The one thing I do not understand is BMV is in a stronger position now than it was 24 months ago...
However cause of the delays in the mining permit it has tanked from 4p -> 2p -> 0.6p
again I've been burned and made mistakes multiple times. But each time I've learnt.
That is genuinely your typical life cycle. A company makes a discovery, the share price sky rockets. It starts planning for mining, then the share price drops. The key is to not get caught out by buying after the discovery has been made and getting sucked into the hype on the way up.
From experience, you have to take that life cycle with a pinch of salt. Firstly, many companies fail to make a commercially viable discovery. Second, many explorers don’t ever get into production. A lot sell assets on the cheap just continue exploring other opportunities.
What I’ve always like about BMV is it doesn’t fit into the typical mould. It’s not an explorer, it’s trying to simply bring an old mine back into production, so is starting in that ‘Development’ stage.
Over my years of investing I’ve learnt a couple of things. If you’re getting in near the bottom, there’s a good chance the company will fail, that’s the risk of getting in so low. On the flip side, all it takes is one stock to multi bag to have a significant impact on your life.
Exactly, I am a novice and I do not hide that. So far from what I've seen in companies though is the hype can be more impressive than the outcome.
If you type in google "Visualizing the Life Cycle of a Mineral Discovery - Visual Capitalist"
The pattern seems to be very predictable in terms of mining companies. This is what I'm hoping for, I could be wrong and have been consistently in the past but each time I've learnt.

I don’t think it was a comparison of GGP as a company but in terms of how the share price can rise so quick. Having fortunately got in GGP at sub 2p, then selling-up rather prematurely at just over 20p, it’s a very good example of a company quickly becoming overvalued. It shot up to near 40p in a very short space of time, then gradually went back down to 6p (despite its assets actually improving).
Once BMV receives its permits and production commences, I’d be surprised if there isn’t a very significant rise given its current mcap is only around £4m.
As someone who’s been buying & selling shares for 40yrs, just as a note to the inexperienced or naive, BMV cannot in ANY way be compared to GGP, not even GGP’s earliest stages. As always DYOR & you’ll understand. I was in & out of GGP in 2020 & bought back in this Sept. I’m not invested here & genuinely wish only the best to all who are. GLA.
The permit is the unpleasant bit...
if that gets through, we will end up with a vast re-rating 6p - 8p
It was 5p without the additional phillipines project.
The company has 0 debt
Major investors are still onboard and have been since the start.
Align have continued to be onboard and have a recommendation in the past of 12p
company is in a stronger position now than when it was at 4p...
3 mines instead of 2.
Once we get the mining permit this will fly. if we don't we are going to be stuck
here until the company goes bust. However I believe it is govenment paperwork that is the problem.
if it does fly the hype will outweight the company potential then rerate itself.
look at GGP/GRL for a examples of this.

Mentioning potential value here ...
Using another very rough and unquestionably not precise valuation method, just in situ value of gold (Kochang and Gubong only) multiplied by conservative $1900 POG and 3.5% "in situ coefficient" returns around $45M or 5p.
Obviously, 3.5% might be on the lower side as these are high grade and already existing mines but it still demonstrates how undervalued it is.
It's all down to getting the permit.
Non of the top holders from the management bailed out so I guess they genuinely believe they will get it ...
In this respect they are completely aligned with share holders
Only 1 buyer so far today price 0.616p thanks Mr Market.

Gold closed Friday in New York at a new ATH $2091
With gold hitting $2,050/oz today, it made me think of the potential increase in value here.
Based on the average production in the Scoping Study of 42Koz pa, the increase from $1750/oz, would provide BMV with an additional profit before tax of $12.6m per annum. Not bad for company with an mcap of only £4m.
Now, we just need those MTUP’s to finally get this into production!
Yes, we were told to be hopeful for the tmup to be issued this time last year.
On the plus side, the directors seem very genuine in their efforts but this is just my gut feel. I guess the share price reflects the markets confidence of delivery.
Can't say that it fills me with confidence. Supposed to be experts in this field and they dropped the ball, which no matter how they downplay it, it is a very big ball. Looks like another xmas will pass us by without any decent news or news for that matter.
