If the BOD had put forward a reasonable rewards package two times ago, it would probably have passed and they would be quids and n now given SP pretty much trebled since then with potential for more to come. If I recall they wanted big big rewards for a 30% sp rise (after we had dipped)
Then again this time, BOD need ask g too much. As it is, they may miss out again, but worse - as a result of their greed they are not as aligned to shareholders and indeed could slow our progress.
For me and Viera and Duke it seems the value is in Dynasty and Satoshi - neither of which need much assistance from Derek to succeed. As such he may have missed out big time.
Viera, Duke - did you have any corridor conversations at all about Derek stopping his perpetual hand in till shenanigans or he will be out?
Classic example of getting your hand stuck in the cookie jar! But can he derail slow our progress in the interim whilst he is not under an incentive?

It is disappointing that Dynasty haven't pressed on with their IPO plans like they intended
Taken from article April 2021
"Dynasty intends to IPO on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) within the next 12 months and does not anticipate needing to raise additional funds ahead of the planned listing."
Correct me if I'm wrong but IPO should have been this month at the latest - admittedly yes a few days left in this month but I dont hold much hope of it happening.
Speculation from my side but it appears as though this 'big tech' company they are allegedly in talks with have derailed IPO plans.
I just hope they dont start eternally kicking the can down the road - we've already had Satoshipay promising jam tomorrow for the past few years. I wonder what their customer base is looking like now
Planning my exit!! Hurry up Blu!!!
divorce fund :D !!!
planning for one?
or taken advantage of one?
:)
Yes it's a lovely feeling being part of the Blu family and having shareholders looking out for each other. Its good knowing that my money is as safe as it can be on the aim market especially as its my divorce fund!!! Lol
@dukee
if Dynasty goes for that amount , then we are hopelessly undervalued, we are already ridiculously undervalued.
must admit i had top end 200m on Dynasty, but in honesty, who knows with such a buoyant sector.
you know far more about pendulum / satoshipay than i, however, if satoshipay were to IPO at £200m that would mean £54m for BLU , approx 1p.... of course it could be a great deal higher.
i know you are ex city nic, me too, JPM, CSFB and DB front office,
i'd like news on Dynasty this year, did either of you, NS / duke get a feel as to when / if Dynasty would offer their decision on whether they will IPO or sell ?
I believe my vote went through as my broker and the co broker confirmed .
There must’ve been a problem with Marks votes but thankfully we won and wasn’t a problem.
I’m pleased there were others who also didn’t want more dilution. That and the crazy options package has meant it’s worked to our advantage having 2 large shareholders looking after shareholders interests
Roll on 0.6p ??
Ha ha, just read that article about Parachain auctions. Have to say, didn't understand a word, but my conclusion is this is a very exciting arena and happy to carry on in hope of some major success.
ha indeed dukee
fair play to you and NS all the same.
i voted myholding along with you guys and TF. it had to be done.
i believe everyone has had enough with the dilution that happened previously never mind history repeating, albeit the previous dilution was survival !!
so , NS & dukee, answer me this.... we all voted with reasonable holdings, some far more reasonable than others ;)
how did it come to pass that the votes against were not in the billions of shares?
you and NS have a billion between you !!
totally agree with you dukee, we have all posted several times now how the sum of the parts line up and we all agree that we should be anywhere betweeen 0.6 and 1p THIS YEAR, given a Dynasty sale and Pendulum live, but given a fair wind in a buoyant sector (payments always is ) then we could be very much higher in 2023.
time will tell,
atb
blu
if those freaking board directors want share they can buy in the open market like any of us with real money
MidasMac
welcome did well on ARB last year as did some others, here for the long term and QBT.... ATB
Wellcome to MidasMac ………..you Midas touch with GGP. You’ve made a good investment here. Onwards and upwards :)
Thank you for your kind words Midas
We are certainly a better investment today than we were yesterday before the Agm
No more dilution ,we have 2 cracking assets worth at least 0.6p so we are super cheap here.
Onwards and upwards
Well done for anyone who voted with me yesterday ..we certainly didn’t need another 1.5bn shares in issue!!
I have been keeping a watching brief on BLU over the last year, and apart from the odd successful day trade here and there, haven't added it my shares portfolio. However, having said that, I am very impressed with shareholders of the company through voting power to make sure there's no further dilution in the share price through an unwelcome placing, as quite rightly, most companies with a small market cap take this route, a lot of the time, just to keep the lights on. So, rather than day trade this, I have this morning added it to my portfolio, as I too believe that the company has at least a couple of gems in its portfolio, and with the threat of a placing, at least in the short to medium term being lifted, feel that there's a lot of upside to come. I'm only dipping my feet in the water with 500,000 shares to start, but like I did with my most successful share (GGP), which I have made a life-changing amount of money on, especially over the last 5-6 years with a holding of 4.5m shares at 3.9p, with the share price currently well undervalued at 14p currently having hit 38p, but like BLU with so much more upside to come, I will be adopting the same approach with investing in BLU, by adding on any dips or on any positive news. So, onwards and upwards! GLA
No surprise our shares are up
There was no way I wanted to risk any more dilution
So we made sure no crazy option package and no acquisitions as Satoshi and Dynasty are enough to get us to 0.6p plus
Still cheap in the 30s
I think Dynsaty will be worth 0.4p to us within months
So Satoshi in for nothing
Meinhard is a genius and can “invent” anything
Also very interesting that the Canadians never voted which makes me think they have sold out
So another overhang gone
All good news
disagree dukee, but then you knew i would post that !!
he's tried with the options, he's tried another way ..... and failed !!!
my opinion remains, as i know does yours,we had the same discussion with the options debacle.
i'm invested for the returns from the investee's of Blue Star capital not the CEO of blue star capital
trust this clarifies my position, its my opinion and whilst i may not agree, i agree to disagree.
ATB
Let`s hope it continues to 0.40s for starters and then on to the moon subject to good news from our partners,
GLA (piscio)
great news, well done MW & NS and of course Tony Fabrizi.
del boy Lew well and truly put in his place, he and his cronies will never be able to pull a sly one again.
Gazzleberry - ok thanks for the reply - but it is good to hear that in your view Dynasty and Pendulum override your feelings about management :-)
Am holding here. I can only think that should the management both been allowed to issue options back in September and allowed to raise again through this AGM we'd probably be looking at 6 to 6.5 billion shares sloshing around out there. 5 billion sounds much better.
Brilliant to see res. 4 and 5 defeated, and both by a stonking majority.
Some rats leaving now they aren't going to get their pockets lined at our expense, I suspect.
No more dilution without consulting shareholders.
We have two great assets which is enough to get a share price at least double where we are at the moment.
Surprised we aren’t better on this rns
It will be interesting to see the half year report (ending 31st March 2022) and see how our investments in Dynasty & Satoshipay are coming along. They should be very good. They don't normally get published until late June though unfortunately.
Todays AGM results are a great bit of reassurance for anyone worried about a placing. Lot's to look forward to!
