As stated in the 2021 Annual Report, during the pandemic Bango terminated the lease on its Westbrook offices. These offices were too small and restricted Bango’s ability to expand.
When working from home was discontinued Bango hired temporary office space where this year’s AGM was held.
In the near future Bango will settle on more permanent offices.
The Annual Report for 2021 shows headcount of 88, an increase from the previous years figure of 78. These are average figures for the year. The rise to 88 was brought about by recruitment towards the end of the year. After the year end the recruitment of new staff has continued.
I would guess the actual headcount is now between 120 and 130.
The business is clearly doing well as the growth in headcount is needed to support existing and future business.
Just catching up with the general tech decline I guess. Will add today.
Oh dear, that's a shame. The Investors Chronic tips have pretty much always let me down.
PS Holding tight with my holding very happy with it. Originally an Investors Chronical recommendation and they still like them

Its ok I am more than happy. Yesterday was an aberration big correction now.
I am only worried about punters buying less and reducing fees. After todays sales figures no worries. Sadly the world is split between haves and have nots. If Labour did a windfall tax what would they do on the next event.
Bruce, I am happy with my investment. In time the SP will rise or the company will pay dividends as it begins to make money from more end user spend without any increased costs, so more revenue will fall straight to the bottom line. Who wouldn't be happy with that!
Ok so what’s going on here? It’s not the sector - Boku is doing ok. Not the Nasdaq today. Very few trades, no meaningful sizes. Seems to have declined steadily throughout the day. MMs doing someone a massive favour, trying for large buy on the cheap? Or bad news comb tomorrow?
SP falls nearly 9% and not a single comment. Are you all complacent

rns -Bango signs agreement with privacy and identity pioneer McAfee

Bruce you are correct. The NYSE system is similar but the requirements are spelt out in more detail and it is not called RNS.
Bango confirmed that this announcement is for T Mobile USA.

Pensioner. I do not think RNS are used in USA. In UK they date back to 17th Century
The new RNS has a British sequence number. Bango is a British company and therefore complies with and is subject to Btitish commercial law.
I think the RNS is US only.
The figures I quoted were from this link.
https://investor.t-mobile.com/news-and-events/t-mobile-us-press-releases/press-release-details/2022/T-Mobile-Posts-Record-High-Customer-Results-Adding-1.2-Million-Postpaid-Accounts-and-5.5-Million-Postpaid-Customers-in-2021/default.aspx
It seems to imply US numbers - but am happy to admit it could be read differently.
SP I see Berenberg now have a 300p target price.
My understanding is the deal is with T-Mobile US rather than T-Mobile in totality. T-mobile US is a separate entity from T-Mobile Germany. Please could you confirm the deal is with T-mobile as a total entity. If it is T-mobile US we are looking at about between 5 and 6 million subscribers. Quite a difference. Bango has a history of not being precise with its information.
T-Mobile currently has more than 104 million subscribers, of which 84 million are postpaid customers. In 2019, the company had a monthly average revenue per user (ARPU) of 36.86 U.S. dollars and a postpaid churn rate of 0.87 percent in the second quarter of 2021.3 Jan 2022
Stake building is what I’m doing!
NHN picking up shares regularly now whenever SP heads close to 180p...they know a lot more than I do obviously, but it gives SP good support.. could easily lead to more stake building and possible BGO will really fly. GLTA
Haha. I didn't intend to put question marks at the end of my previous post. I used a Thumbs Up emoji!
.. plus Liontrust have increased their holding, while Odey Asset Mgmt have reduced theirs. Quite a lot of institutional trading. Looks positive overall. ??
I see from RNS that NHN have snapped up another 2% very bullish
I agree with you. The forecasts are very conservative given that the three main strands of the business are beginning to take off. For some time Bango has maintained a fairly constant headcount but now they are recruiting to exploit the abundant opportunities that are opening up.
I would like to correct the misinformation that appears on another board. Bango is listed only on AIM. The OTC arrangement makes it easier for US citizens to buy and sell the UK listed shares. This is important because Bango shares qualify for inheritance tax relief provided that they are held for two years. This is an important benefit for me and I would assume some of the board members. If the shares are listed in another exchange then they would no longer benefit from this relief.

Those published revenue figures look very cautious to me, given historic growth in EUS and that Bango Audiences / licensing revenue should be growing strongly. Even allowing got some slowdown in payments growth. I suspect they’ve been set to be broken.
