Anyone going to Tbilisi on 9 November 2017 from UK, bit far I think but hope there are plenty of local investors.
7% swing!
Put it down to 'it was a golden opportunity to buy' :)
A dawn raid then
http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail/BGEO/13331277.html not sure why the drop then
70% increase in profits before tax compared to 2016 H1...wow!!
Topped up another £2.5k today at 3433p. It's proved it can break 3700 on several occasiOne now and I think even with political uncertainty in that region still a lot of opportunity .
xbb2008, It could be political tensions affecting BGEO at the moment but unsure if they will actally have any effect on the ground, I am sure the business plan is going well. The Turkey march can't be good for the area of Georgia if more trouble is caused in Turkey.
Yes. This was one of my few bright spots yesterday. Totally irrational fall back to the £33-34 mark in recent weeks.
will accelerate the next leg up. The retrace has to be clawed back- can't see what drove that http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=BGEO&ArticleCode=hbb6uhbl&ArticleHeadline=BGEO_Group_PLC__Proposed_Demerger
BGEO always bounces back from experience however a lot of shares I am in or follow that have had big recent rises have been hit in the current sell off by jittery holders. With all the political chaos this will probably continue until the market shows it is weathering the troubles. Our PRSM holding has been smashed.
Got in today for juicy divi next week. Just in time IMO.
Any ideas why?
still hold a majority 57% of GHG
http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=BGEO&ArticleCode=8ufzb0ka&ArticleHeadline=BGEO_announces_proposed_placing_of_shares_in_GHG should raise nearly £25m
I agree. I've been topping up steadily since my misstep selling out too early this time last year. My 2nd highest individual share holding now behind Nanoco (I have a soft spot for that stock although one needs the patience of a saint for the anticipated take off !). BGEO is in such a sweet spot geopolitically . Nice long term hold to supplement the pension although I may be tempted to take some profits if it hits 4000.
25% in 8 weeks, should push on to 4000
on Monday-no indication of levels only aspiration for future which may be a hint.
I hope it continues up as I have doubled my stake but not my holding, if you know what I mean. It was a big retrace which I had not expected.
Very good couple of days
Good day today, up over 2% and I'm back in the black.
Would have been smart if you did buy some more, I have had the opposite luck elsewhere. I think Mrs May's speech sent the market down a bit but BGEO is a good hedge.
I am always more nervous of stretching myself than taking profit but if I had any spare I might be tempted and had thought it might be a good play.
I'm thinking of topping up again Doze after the recent downward drift. I'm still bullish about this company and am sure it has £30 plus in its legs. Never much good at timing the change in sentiment with these things!
