One CGEO per BGEO held. BGEO closed on Friday at 3,113p. Currently BGEO is about 2,005p and CGEO 1,100p Can anyone clarify which one is cash generative ?
Thanks. Yes I did a quick bit of catch up reading myself . Seems I’m now the proud owner of shares in two entities instead of one so net net no harm done. Relief!
I know little about the company but the rns says a demerger from Georgia capital, with approximately 10 mill shares being transferred.
I’m guessing I’ve missed a corporate action announcement or something. Being swamped with work at moment, can anyone let me know high level what’s happened to cause the 33% SP fall today and whether I need to do anything like vote etc?!
worry as to the demerger conditions have provided a last minute buying opportunity in my opinion. there will be, I calculate, a 73.7p payout some time after demerger and the newly created shares go on Georgia Capitals balance sheet I believe so don'see why the sp has dropped.
Whats with the price down in morning 2 or 3 % then back up
Irakli Gilauri, BGEO CEO commented: "I am delighted to announce that our beverage business has made a major step towards its wine business development strategy to reach a vineyard base of 1,000 hectares over the next three years. With this acquisition, we have now reached 436 hectares of vineyards to support our wine production, which has been supported bysignificant growth opportunities on international markets provided by Georgia's various free trade agreements, including those with China and the European Union."
seem to have yesterdays close displayed, wrong button pressed by someone
yet achieved, now maybe an advance on 4000. Reorganization is imminent and I wonder how the two entities will respond. Commentators often say it is a spur to the business.
this is back to where I bought expecting the next leg up to 4000
is high with this management. Geogian economy is actually growing organically instead of zomby fashion as in UK and US

Hoping to see a resumption of upward trend leading up to split of business.
due after 3 month 15 per cent slide. Demerger of banking/investment about 6 months away and probably taking managements eye off the ball a bit. Demerger should mean a premium sp compared to current level will get built in in the run up.
have put the brakes on this one but domestic growth should still proress. Disappointed anyway.
Anyone going to Tbilisi on 9 November 2017 from UK, bit far I think but hope there are plenty of local investors.
7% swing!
Put it down to 'it was a golden opportunity to buy' :)
A dawn raid then
http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail/BGEO/13331277.html not sure why the drop then
70% increase in profits before tax compared to 2016 H1...wow!!
Topped up another £2.5k today at 3433p. It's proved it can break 3700 on several occasiOne now and I think even with political uncertainty in that region still a lot of opportunity .
xbb2008, It could be political tensions affecting BGEO at the moment but unsure if they will actally have any effect on the ground, I am sure the business plan is going well. The Turkey march can't be good for the area of Georgia if more trouble is caused in Turkey.
Yes. This was one of my few bright spots yesterday. Totally irrational fall back to the £33-34 mark in recent weeks.
will accelerate the next leg up. The retrace has to be clawed back- can't see what drove that http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=BGEO&ArticleCode=hbb6uhbl&ArticleHeadline=BGEO_Group_PLC__Proposed_Demerger
