Hi. This was posted just over an hour ago on the BEM LinkedIn page. I’ve copied it for those who can’t view the link. Link also included. Anyway:
#BEM's assets place it in the strategic position to supply high-grade magnetite #iron concentrate to decarbonise the steel sector, develop a downstream anode materials production capability to supply Europe's #battery sector & explore a new supply of #CriticalMinerals

Oaktree’s posts are welcome, but he hasn’t said how it is re the sp, only what could occur. Do you see it potentially going to 0.75p overnight Hasty?
I don’t, and of course, for balance, it could go back over 2p overnight, depending on news.
We can’t be certain what will occur, we only know that the wait continues.
If we are still invested, we obviously believe the wait will be worthwhile, certainly a better showing than we are currently seeing.
I say best of luck to us and indeed to newcomer Chris, who’s made a bold step.
Forewarned is forearmed JTG - Better then unrealistic Guff to lure in investors with false hope. Tell it like it is Oaktree.
Welcome back Oaktree and thank you for such brilliant positive sharing..I am sure when potential investors read your posts they will come flocking to invest in BEM.
Keep up the good work.
Furthermore I would take issue with Oaktree's comment: " I would also add that the other projects were all described as being further behind KN so BEM has not demonstrated an ability to make its own bread so to speak…"
My recollection of the previous CEO's comments on Grafintec was that it could come into production before Kallak.
I've said anyone still invested here believes we can do it, which must be an exaggeration thinking about it. Nobody wants to lose money but there is a point isn't there when it's sensible to consider damage limitation. So no one could blame Oaktree for being 'out' if he is 'out'..could they?
ps i disagree with your previous two posts, share108 about "taking the gloves off"..it's a half ****ed approach. the company's job is to make kallak the best mine ever built and they're working on that.
Morning Share108...We do have Swedish posters commenting here from time to time. We don't know the time frame for the Appeal process. The Licence was granted on 22 March 2022 and the Sami Lawyers were given extensions up until early December of that year further to the initial period of 3 month. The Appeal is not directly a matter for BEM, it's the Sami Villages against the Government And the Supreme Court must decide about the Government's handling of the process, not the actual decision...were there irregularities. Do we know when it will be concluded...no. It isn't something we didn't expect, we knew it would be part of the process. And as for the process from start to finish (it clearly states in the Mining Strategy Document that it takes about 1 year) this Exploitation Licence is the first to be awarded in Sweden, a mining country, for 12 years. Sweden is known to have the strictest environmental requirements in the World; it's currently our work in progress and we like that...anyone still invested here thinks we can do it. It's seen as a big risk as indicated by the sp...we'll win or lose.
Mmmm...legal process and Sweden might not be words to easily link Share108! I think that because you're thinking that Sweden is in Europe, it might have a developed process where everyone can access an understandable system...Banana Republics could teach Sweden a thing or two - don't hold your breath and good luck seeking clarity on this front...
I may have missed it but does anyone on this board know the stages in the legal process in Sweeden? Was the Sami appeal against the Government's decision actually played out in Court? If so, I would have expected the Government's lawyers to have responded to the Sami points and defended its position at that hearing. Of course, the Court may have subsequently asked the Government specific questions to clarify issues, hence the new deadline. In this scenario the "danger" is that the Sami will have a further period to react to the new points, will probably seek an extension and so the merry go round continues. So I would find it helpful if someone with knowledge of the Sweedish legal process could clarify the future steps.
Hi Chris, I love your optimism regarding the timeframe – it might be worth being aware of the history of Sweden’s approach to process. It took a decade to get from ‘explore’ to ‘permit’ for no real apparent reason. The Sami appeal has had numerous extensions with no promise that a decision will actually be made, the easy option would be to pass it to another committee…
…so, loving your optimism and would love it to translate into something tangible but be prepared to wait! I would also add that the other projects were all described as being further behind KN so BEM has not demonstrated an ability to make its own bread so to speak…
I suspect that if you polled most investors here, they’d wish that they never got involved in this share and it would be interesting to ask the previous 2 CEOs whether they truly believed that they would return investors any true value. To date the leadership of this company have drawn large salaries with literally no return to those who backed them.
I believe we’re known as ‘dumb money’…private investors with no real voting rights who get swept along…take care Chris.
The share price might look cheap, but imagine it being 0.75p overnight…there’s nothing to suggest that the new CEO is any different to the past ones! Good luck and would love your optimism to pay off but the friendly advice is – be prepared to join a very, very long queue!
Afternoon Pollyanna. Good reminder SJ. Yes, we must trust that work is progressing to ensure certain value points are achieved. Fingers crossed for that occurring in the background and maybe we’ll see a decent start to the new year. At least we know when the Government has to submit its comments by. Not too long now.
Peter Pan. Lol.
Welcome Chris. Best of luck with your investment here.
Afternoon all,
So, I am a new investor to BEM. Was put on to the company by "wotitsworth". I am extremely excited with the potential, but at the same time concerned with the ongoing Sami case. Sounds like most folk posting have been invested many years..... a very up and down roller coater of emotion the last few years!?
My two pence, seem the company is well positioned, if a good court ruling then the SP should react accordingly. Although, the potential SP if all is good, I really have no idea. Additionally, the graphite project is another potential.
My back ground is O&G, I get the sense of BEM similar to a small exploration O&G company, with a few lucrative assets. Although, they don't have the financial backing to progress. Hence, get the projects lined up and get ready for a sale......is that the best outcome? I wonder if that's the strategy? Or actually take the mines to development phase, be interesting to see how that's funded it the case.....VERY EXCITING FEW MONTHS AHEAD.....Just trying to gauge how much my investment will be and make that calc on the associated risk.
Look forward to chatting to you all!
Chris
Morning SJ...That's as very good point you make...the work is going on, it isn't the case that nothing is happening, everything is happening that can be done to move this on.
In the meantime we have pre feasibility and environmental work ongoing, so we progress :)
Morning Eric. Yes it's been a very long time, which must mean that we're getting there and it will be very early next year, which isn't that far away.

eric might remember it....just
Hi Sooz. Yep, plant tulips and enjoy it, then meanwhile here we must continue to sit and wait. If the Government has until 8 January by which time to submit any supporting comments, then we could be looking at a few months after that for the Court to give the final decision. Meaning, it will be two years or thereabouts since the concession was granted. Amazing really then, eleven years in total that will have been for us just to have decisively gained (no comebacks) a permit for a tiny area of land so we can do a spot of environmentally-friendly open pit mining. Lol.
Wow!
Let’s hope and trust that we’ll get it. 🙂
Nothing wrong with keeping each other going on here in the meantime. Until the next news. Be nice for more shareholders to post though Sooz.
Evie. x
Hello Eric. Poppies are done, now what do I do...plant tulips, I suppose. As you say, it's going to be hard to post because we've probably had most of the news we can expect to get before the big one and that's not going to be before Christmas, the Government having till 8 Jan to submit their comments on the final submission from the Appeal faction. So...hibernation then, or winter stories...tales of the unexpected. We'll have to be very careful with that, not to p people off. Lol.

Hi. Yes, I reckon once you are on a roll Sooz then doing as many as you can before fatigue sets in is good. Especially if you can see it all coming together.
Which is what may be happening here. All being well.
I saw Tak’s post. It was decent of him. It’s difficult to keep posting at times though.
Afty. x
Morning Eric. I thought I could probably make about ten but I keep saying, just one more...Lol. See we've had some visitors this week. Thanks for your nice comments Takayama...which doesn't mean of course that you can't make not nice comments...we've crossed swords I know in the past, but all in the game so to speak. Cheers.
You’ve done well there Sooz. It’s been therapeutic too then eh? Lovely.
The days on the approximate six month review are counting down nicely for us here now. We’ve broken the back of it. Yay!
Enjoy your weekend. Crochet away. 🙂
