The fact that, at this appallingly overdue point, UNESCO have been unnecessarily and embarrassingly got implicated in the swedes cheating is reprehensible.
Budge’s letter is fine and points out all the relevant bits and pieces which everyone already knows.
What matters more is what is in the letter from the Swedish government to UNESCO, if they have bothered to write one yet.
Their tack will be somewhat different from Budge’s.
More along the lines of “ there’s a small foreign exploration company wanting to build a Nast iron mine close to Laponia. Let us know if you’re not keen. No rush. “
Additionally the communication between the swedes and UNESCO will not be made known to investors.
This is going absolutely nowhere. UNESCO is a huge bureaucracy, run under the auspices of the UN in New York. In my opinion, UNESCO will say nothing for a very long time and then pronounce that the decision on the mining license lies with the Swedish government as Kallak is well outside any area over which UNESCO has any jurisdiction.
By which time the next election will be with us and Baylan will be home free. You just know that’s how it will go.
3card, you may be right, but we also know that Baylan does not respond to Kurt's letters. He's had his chances.
Have read the letter and for a CEO alledgedly sitting on his backside doing nothing, I thought it was a pretty good effort.lol.
Unless of course it was Buster who wrote it on his behalf.
3 card the only problem with buster is he breathes ! The filter button is a very good friend where he is concerned ,
Buster , only problem with your logic is that we are not a mining company as regards Kallak. We are an exploration company which has a longstanding overdue application to be a miner.
Eric
Not sure it was a good idea to completely bypass Baylan with the letter.
This gives the government an excuse to add a few extra weeks to the process while they slooowly send a copy to Baylan via reindeer post and slooowly await a response from him via the same postal method.
Share price tanking again most other mining are going up this one following its sinking ship CHART LONG TERM BEARISH PATTERN HAS EMERGED 1p On the Cards BRAGGY . what ya think alma , IJIDIOT what you think pal , i think its a goner mate ?
Problem with this lot they have never hit any of their promises since 2012 they are walking talking disasters and sorry to be so negative but totally fed up stuck with this pile of poo for 8 years and still waiting for a GOOD performance ? Proven track record of missed everything ! Board of clowns need a kick up the bum and no share holders will invest here unless they need their heads looking at ! G.L.A. try the bookies better odds or lottery you got more chance of making any dosh !
Your not allowed to give negative views to this lot of rampers mate they love this LOSER OF A STOCK ?
Yes, Kurt has always pointed everything out to the Government, yet we've still been given the cold shoulder. This latest letter in the RNS is a beauty. I fail to see now what the Government can come up with to not make a decision, once UNESCO has seen it. Even though that wasn't at all necessary. Lol.
Thanks Eric...I forgot to add the link for the RNS :)
I'm happy with Kurt's letter today, the company just seems to be constantly leading this horse to water. Literally spoon feeding the Gov what they need to know and actually doing their job for them. IMO this is so clear cut I can't believe we're still waiting. It can only be positive from here IMO
Yes PAYJJ, it's smashin' to behold. Our little Kal is nowhere near big old Lap. Lovely!
Oaktree, thanks for the excellent reply, much appreciated, great post. I know how you feel and I am slightly older than you. It has been a shocking wait for this concession decision, and it would be wonderful if this investment were to benefit your children in that way, give them a foot on the property ladder. We must trust that our patience with and support of BEM will pay off, now that the Swedes hopefully have had their shoelaces tied together by the KU.
Best of luck Oaktree.
A link to today's RNS. Has Mr Baylan been replaced? If not, he's been bypassed, and it doesn't even seem that Kurt has copied him in. Bravo! Here:

The airport is closer than Kallak!
Elon Musk can build factories all over the world in virgin wilderness
He can launch satellites into space creating space pollution
Apple can build iPhones using cobalt that destroy lives and pollutes in Africa exploiting children
Amazon can build a business model that has destroyed our towns high streets
All in a few years
YET SWEDEN CANT DECIDE ON LITGLE KALLAK
CORRUPT
We got ourselves a treasure map mateys

No Eric...I’m just thinking as we all share our amazement and frustration that the Swedes are so inefficient with process and decision making that here in the UK...we can prolong similar infrastructure items well beyond the 7yrs that Kallak has wracked up...Heathrow is running at 30+ yrs...no I’m not saying that a mine and an airport are linked unless Kurt is planning to fly the ore through Heathrow...?!?!? But I am saying that we all need to accept that the Swedes can kick this around the long grass for as long as they want...all governments including our own can get splinters from sitting on fences...just a tenuous and fun link to ineptitude...
On the subject of pessimism...not really, just realistic, this investment for me is no longer about me but more for my kids now as it’s more likely to benefit them...I first bought into BEM When I was 37 and had different dreams...I’m approaching 50 with a decent teachers pension and as I’m a headmaster in NW London...I’m realistic that I won’t be doing another 10 years of headship...! So BEM could be deposits for houses for my kids...etc etc. As everyone knows, you need to be ok losing the lot when gambling with shares, especially AIM...good luck all...!
Hi. Yes, but you know that Kallak is entirely nothing to do with Heathrow, so it won't and can't replicate it. Different country, different government and we know the Kallak operation will be green, it will not be dropping fuel into the air, nor will it be operating anywhere near social housing.
Not sure why you are even remotely pondering whether Kallak may or may not replicate Heathrow. A comparison is not relevant, based on the factors with and affecting each separate project.
You are surely just pressing that pessimistic button again aren't you? Lol. Fair enough.
Sorry, just noticed that high court in UK has said yes to Heathrow third runway...Mmmm I’m now wondering if a Swedish runway exploration company were seeing this...they’d be saying the UK government are an incompetent bunch of morons who have taken 30+ yrs and now Boris is saying no to the courts!!! Perhaps leadership is generally shot across the western world?!? Remind me why I didn’t invest in BAO, an African junior miner who can at least bribe above board!!! I do hope that Kallak doesn’t replicate Heathrow...?!?!?!?! Good luck all...
Is the Swedish government either
1. Dumb because iron ore record high they could be earning revenue
2. Cheats trying to keep Kallak for themselves
3. Handicapped by the green theme that actually is stupid if you look at the low carbon benefits of home made iron ore
4 corrupt
5. All of the above
Emotions...
So nothing changes on this share. So long ago since this share was losing me money. It went to 75p was it 2010 not sure. It absolutely beggars belief no yes or no on kallak. When is a decision due now. I could take a punt but probably a bad idea. I see a few familiar names. Hope it takes off but i just lost interest in this debacle
Ive just kissed my filter button,
More interesting than reading your ramping rubbish Alma . Hee Hee Loser
