You know Lb, I agree with that. I hate Cameron for what he did, sidling off and not facing the music for the referendum result.
I won't mention about having the referendum in the first place.
Oops. Lol.
Aye Sooz, it's a bit shocking really. Good to know though.
To be appointed to the office of minister of state in Sweden or any country is an honour and a privilege.
The responsibility of the office is to run the country. The only running Baylan has done is to run away from his brief - enterprise and innovation ha fecking ha - and now he’s run away altogether.
He is a disgrace. He’s done a Cameron.
It's a bit of a bombshell really isn't it when you think about it.
Thanks Sooz. Good post that. Maybe that's why he's leaving. Out of his depth, at the very least.
Yes...they are. Here's a bit more:

Thanks 120 Days.
Lb, civil servants are decision makers.
Pocko,
Civil servants are not decision makers.
And neither are ministers in Sweden, it would appear....
My post regarding demanding a timescale for a decision was removed, so I'm standing by it again. As we hurtle towards October surely we need to know what the Government proposes to do next and when? UNESCO comments have been known for months now, our comments delivered early, so I don't believe we should leave it there and wait beyond the end of the month before we press for a resolution of this concession problem.
In my opinion.
Hoping for a good end to the year. I'm really losing my patience with this now.
Politicians and ministers in government do the ‘Politicking’ and little else. They are the public face of government, rarely have their portfolios for long, and they never get to grips with their departments. They are a dispensable part of the party political machine. Civil Servants are the tail that wags the dog, and they alone will have done the hard yards on Kallak. Baylan leaving changes little. This government will be held accountable, either by the media or electorate. Ministers have come and gone, and the issue of the Kallak application, whilst not contributing to any politicians demise, has seen them all off. The exploitation licence application has outlived them all. It’s a problem that festers and simply won’t go away. Sooner or later, the elephant in the room must be addressed.
Afternoon.. ibjj, lolol.. I detect you may have got the needle.. Anyway, Baylan won’t be off the hook if he attaches any unwarranted conditions to any award.. There won’t be any running away.. CEO’s who appear calm and focused when forced to deal with loaded politics, do so because they have both, good capacity and confidence in their ability.. KB has never wavered with message/objective, and he should not change any of that at all, not now, imo..He has had to deal with minister Baylan, who we know doesn’t leave any paper - trail (KU report), and it has also been alleged that he withheld information on some other, whilst being top dog.. Not good that! KB has good measure of this dishonourable being, and proof of that is, if KB had chosen to take legal action in the past, Baylan then would have referred the proposals to UNESCO pronto, and today we would still be waiting for a response from UNESCO - same ilk.. No court would intervene then.. Needless to say, everyone invested is well xxxxxd off, with good reason, but we should try to portion blame correctly.. Concession before any return to the o/p of 03:16P??? lol. Imo only atb……………
Johnthegolf,
You are not obliged to get it at all.
However, Beowulf is, like several other companies, on my radar as a future possible punt. As such, in my view, it would be foolish not to research the opportunity fully prior to investing? Reading RNS is a basic minimum.
If you prefer buying blind, good luck to you.
Here's another example of an idiot discussion board where stupids never can adopt the truth expressed by other and much more smarter posters.
lbjj. I really do not get it.
You say you read the RNS very carefully.
Why on earth would you do that when you are not invested in Beowulf?
It is indeed very sad.You must get help.
Well...how could it be anything else...it's all about the same project we've been planning for 15 years (me personally for 11) and I think the plan has come along as far as it could without a Concession to Mine; it's entirely the Government's fault...no CEO could have done better in my opinion. Traders come and go...the sp reflects that and if you weren't expecting some result any day you wouldn't look in every morning. I'm staying put for as long as it takes.
Meanwhile the SP in Sweden has fallen back to the pre pump and dump level.
Suzy2, I read the RNS very carefully and it was a reprise / rehash of many RNS statements from the last 5 years.
Baylan is off the hook re any forthcoming considerations. He is in end of term mode.
Opinion poll from Demoskop this morning gives the Government a lead of 4.6... but MP only get 3.5...M and SD about level.
Actually, Ibjj, I thought there was a lot that was new in that letter....and sufficient on we going stuff as would be judicious in the circumstances.
He has nothing new to say. Last week’s RNS confirmed that. His repeated strategy is to wait and trust the process. 7 years in post next month and content to sit and take a very good living for minimum effort.
Ibjj. ...We're agreeing again. Roller, don't fret yourself...Minister Baylan has at least five weeks left in Post, plenty time to fill all the criteria for 'forthcoming'.
Morning All.
Would be nice to hear from him once in a while..
What difference would that make?
Is Kurt on vacation..
Time for a message from Kurt RE the kallak scoping study thingy with a message about Baylan and the effect on BEO thrown in.
