What an absolute cop out. Couldn't be any farther from professional. The Gov really are stringing this along. Same reply as last year when Kurt asked for a meeting.
Basically, - thanks for the letter, because of the ongoing process application, the minister will not meet you.
Shambles!
Perhaps tomorrow then.
Yes, they boast a lot.
They, the Swedes, are not even making fossil-free steel though are they? They chat a lot of bubbles about green steel, but that’s about it.
The World turns again and no decision on Kallak. Can you make fossil free steel without fossil free iron?
Of course KB needs to sell the company to investors, but absolutely, we need to see some end product.
If I remember correctly, the Aitolampi scoping study and the Kallak mining study were promised during Budge’s PR offensive at the back end of last year when he needed more cash.
Having secured his £6m, the activity has not matched the promise, yet again.
Maybe Budge is swedish??
And the aitolampi scoping study due in June?
What has happened with Kurt's letter and the Kallak report due at the end of August?
Baylan won't care Suzy as he'll be long gone. 8 months isn't long enough for this ministry to even open the envelope of the permit.
Wonder what happens when the eight months temporary permit expires.
A fine mess of their own making by all accounts. If ministers had stuck to their own laws, there wouldn’t be an issue with any applications.
Not sure if that's the situation correctly set out...didn't Cementia get a licence from the Land and Environmental court to continue mining lime for another 20 years and it was appealed against to the Supreme Land and Environmental Court:

Wish I'd been able to hear what Per Bolund had to say....it's a pretty fine mess by the look of it.
Thanks Suzy
This ceased to be about the law many years ago. And even then, it was only a pretence...

Chute - what am I substituting the asterisks for in the link (I guess it is a Swedish/English naughty that can't be posted)?
Morning Chute. Thanks. There's an irony there but I'm not sure I understand exactly what it is....I'm wondering why the company's application was deficient, didn't they know what was required?
If you don't like the law just change it !

Principled politicians? They will all cling to power until the election...
Equally Ms Loof can't continue to support the Government if they fail to implement to reforms she asked for because everyone has their price.
This confirming what we have known all along... That Löfven and his party have allowed themselves to be held to ransom by the Greens for the sake of power. The greens are going nowhere until the next election and or the budget is passed...
Let's hope that they go.
MP is a bunch of bullies. Can't wait for them to be out of government
