Manro, you have not been invested here for 6 years & yet you
have posted here for the last 6 years.
I am not invested in Petro matad & therefore do
not post there.
Simples.
If Kurt had been capable of something significant during his 8 years as CEO, he would have achieved it long ago. The only thing he manages so far is to empty the pockets of gullible or simply stupid investors. I remember how, 7 years ago, at AGM, in response to my criticism that he needed to be more active, and not sit and wait until someone presented him with an Exploitation license on a silver platter, he angrily replied that for a couple of months he would have a license in pocket.
So, you can be sure that the next time, if he is again accidentally lucky, then this can happen no earlier than in the same 7 years. This is why I never cease to rejoice that I sold and got rid of these absolutely worthless shares 6 years ago.
Thanks Andy…good to see what can be done, perhaps Kurt could have got on the blower to AA before the fundraise?!? Amazing that there’s money for a far more complex and smaller prospect, makes you wonder whether Kurt’s had any approaches, I’d assumed that he’d have to put something to a vote if he had? 2p looks a little entrenched…
They are up 74% today on that news :)
Thanks Andy.
I'm thinking of a different one albeit the same circumstances but the dannemora mine looks to only have c50mt of ore and not applied for enviro permit yet. Anglo American is huge is expected to take part in project financing for the mine. This bodes well for kallak imo. Since kallak is a much greater deposit.
That's brilliant for them. I always thought kallak was a much better deposit than grangesberg aswell. Kallak is open pit, has more scope for upside through production and life of mine so for Anglo American to take an interest is a positive for us.
Also they want to produce 2025, they only have the exploitation concession aswell and haven't applied for an environmental permit yet.
Another company, but not too far fetched scenario for us I reckon:

I agree with what you’ve just said SJ, but we’ll see. He didn’t apologise for where the sp is, or for the size of discount to the latest fundraise, but it’s up to him to ensure we are never in this position again. I’m cautiously optimistic, but I need to see the evidence now. Many of us have supported the company on two fundraises, so it’s long overdue that shareholders see some value returned.
Fair points Eric. Im optimistic Kurt will be all over it this year and the company will make significant progress. Let's see what transpires and hopefully investor confidence improves. His number one priority is the SP he says, so there has to be a plan within the company of turning the sentiment around, barring macro of course.
With a mining concession for one of the highest quality iron ore mines in Europe, we should not be languishing at little over 2p. Kurt needs to communicate in greater detail, with more frequency, and it seems we’ve become far too accepting of generally what may or may not occur each year. Well that’s not good enough now. If we don’t have a more defined plan, the project drift on Kallak could occur quite easily. If we have a structured work plan leading up to the 2026 commissioning, Kurt then also becomes more accountable if each stage is not achieved. We’ll have the information to push for an explanation. It also works the other way, credit to him when targets are achieved. Confidence levels will be raised. Investors will buy in.
So I want to see a better performance from the company, as I’m sure we all do. The RNS news needs to breed confidence via detail, and not leave us guessing or drawing our own conclusions, which are then unfortunately usually negative.
That’s my say for today.
Hi SJ. I appreciate what you are saying, we can only be responsible for when we apply for the environmental permit, not for how long it may take to granted, but take the BFS in 2024, as an example, Kurt could tell us when in 2024 that’s likely to commence, not just the year. Otherwise, as we’ve seen this year gone since the concession award, without any meat on the bones, the pathway then seems flimsy, or certainly not definitive, which the market doesn’t appreciate. The sp doesn’t lie. We can no longer have far too general timescales. If 2026 is a reasonable timeframe for the mine to be commissioned, then we need to know in no uncertain terms why that is, and to be shown how the timescale will be achieved. Otherwise, it will appear just to be a guess from a CEO who hasn’t got a solid plan. You see what I mean?
Thankyou and to you too. Atb.
sj74 yes I think it must have gone through in bits, I sold my last million at a much higher figure so I’ve done alright , I feel more comfortable posting as a shareholder, I will leave you and co to do all the research I’ve spent many years doing it but I’m now to old and prefer to spend my time outside, good luck to you,
Hi unclemal, did your 1 million share purchase go through. Good to have you back :) atb
lbj I wonder what your posts would look like if you owned any shares here, puzzling !
Nice to see the BEO forum back up and running.

Kurt can't give us a timescale for an environmental permit as it depends on each individual case and is subject to the court. Average is between 9-18 months according to the sgu and Swedish websites but obviously anything can happen. All Kurt can say is the goal for production is 2026. Timescales given are permit applied for q4, BFS 2024, build 2025, produce 2026. I think that's a fair timescale myself.
He can't give strict timescales as no one knows for each individual component leading up to production. Whilst waiting for enviro permits and the company can get on with feasibility studies.
It is perfectly reasonable to expect permits to be in place by some point in 2025 to allow a construction start.
Ok Maddog. Yep, could be. Need to get more exercise in to help.
Cheers matey.
Lb, that’s a fair point. We are mulling this over because we only have very loose timescales for major events, which is poor.
Pocko, the difference is that the environmental application goes to the Land and Environmental Court, not the Government, so it is hopefully more rigid as to timescale. You are right though, a clear road map from Kurt would be appropriate.
Is it any wonder that day after day, dozens of posts guessing what the company is doing / planning?
Because Budge doesn't know himself, is an awful communicator and only bothers to communicate at all when he needs more cash.
Endless conjecture is pointless when the bloke who is in charge is clueless.
As for "Its all there in the RNS"....what is? I've read it at least three times and I'm not seeing what he sees.
Speaking as "some people" I'd like to say I wish our critical friend would change the record...his insistence that he's absolutely right isn't critical debate it's bullying...and I can't figure out why he's doing his daily rant, we heard it the first time. And some people completely disagree with him.
eric you have got 2 or3 weeks of feeling weak
