Three appeals, from Jåhkågasska Sami village, Sirges Sami village and Naturskyddsföreningen (greenies), and all of them asked to get a three months deferment, which was approved.
So zero action there until the end of September.
Cheers Andy, doesn't stop BEM progressing on kallak does it? SP is shocking, best to ignore. I'm quite surprised really. But there we go :/
Nope, shouldn't stop anything.
sj74 I’m really pleased I sold most of mine in double figures , let’s face it if this share was good people would be diving in but the are not ,if you are young with many years ahead of you (at least 10) you should buy a load at this price an sit on them ,also they will have to raise cash and at 4p a share that would be hopeless ,I still hold a million but have now written them off ,good luck to you all,
And there you have it... Having already been permitted 3-months to appeal, they get granted another 3-months.
Of course, it doesn't stop BEM working in the background... Assuming that they are?
Markets don't like uncertainty. Simple
And where's the communication from the company?
Hi Unclemal, I also though we would drop but never this low on a concession award. I would expect this price on no concession lol. I think the prospects are brilliant with this share but for some reason there aren't that many that buy into the bem story or hype as yet. I'm sure it will come as we move along the stages. Luckily I'm still in a position where I can hold for many more years. I've held for 12 years so far so have certainly got alot older from the initial investment :/ however I'm also feeling much more positive with BEM than I have done for years. Typically the SP doesn't reflect LOL. Atb
Thanks Andy. Just to be clear, haven’t any of the appeals been submitted yet then, as in they all have another three months in which to do so?
Exactly EricDraven... And then the reviewing body can sit on it for another indefinite period.
Just disgusting. After 9 years they need another 3 months to submit a case.
Here we go again. More govt BS
It’s rubbish this. At the end of the three months surely they will just ask for another deferral.
This is now getting a bit uncomfortable. Frankly can't see any point selling now, just have to wait until the appeals, if allowed, have been considered. One or three its all the same-clearly they are working in concert. Not a lot the company can do, as the appeals are against the government decision-so its for them to defend and not BEM.
Yep, they all found out at the last moment that they wanted to appeal so their lawyers now need another three months to prepare.
Not really a showcase of strength in their case though, sounds like they're unhappy with the decision and just needed to do something, anything.
Good points Rick.
But it's our SP and company that bears the brunt? The government has little to lose...
Thanks Andy. The Government was weak then, allowing the extra time.
Morning All. I'm a bit confused about it, could someone clarify what it means, a deferral of what? Is it an extended period in which to make make an appeal? Has leave to appeal been granted or to they have to present their case first?
Delay has of course always been their best weapon against us. Never mind, we can carry on...just have to grin and bear the sp. Sj...I'm agreeing with you, this is going to be good.
Now more than ever we need some good news from Finland and from Kosovo...a gold strike would be good. ;-)
Sub 3p sweetheart deal for a Nordic investor coming to raise funds. That's the reality unfortunately...
Morning Sooz. That was my question also. The Sami lawyers apparently need the extra time to prepare their cases and submit the appeals.
Three months is nothing we can handle that.
Lol...No they don't, they're just trying it on...they've been planning the appeal for years.
Good for you...
But clearly the SP and company finances can't...
Exactly. They just waited until the deadline then asked for another one. Government should have denied an extension, but of course not.,
Yes Pocko. Sami v Government decision yet it’s BEM taking the brunt of this, evidenced by our retreating sp. It’s one-way damage.
