Got in at 11.7 after 10mins of no buy quotes
In for a few on that
Wow!!
!
Could bag now
The other plus about the latest US21Million african contracts is that these are government contracts so another positive for Avanti. Along with the new finance deal which was another good bit of negotiation. Us Brits need to see the likes of Avanti develop and prosper to bring in the much needed readies what with Brexit an all. Well done Avanti, keep up the good work. We need you.
If the herd arrive as well should it get into the leader board top 3 then a 50-70% rise not out of equation
I reckon this will have a big recovery rise today
Can't buy or sell! MM's getting their $hit in order then boom?
SS - Is that $30m over the life of the contract, or $30m pa? I'm struggling to even get to $30m in total to be honest.
Could get a big rise today potentially
She lives, well done to all those who held. Long way to go but Hylas is just round the corner. If that goes up without a hitch we could be in business. A lot of debt to repay but looks like it's manageable now.
Will move fast due to large fall imo
Looks like a breakout. If looking where this has fallen from I think there is very good potential upside from these levels based on recent news
Total sales over last year of US62 Million not great and probably due to putting the company up for sale which was not a good idea looking back now. However, the positive development is the amount of new contract wins that have gone through over the last few weeks which I work out to be over US30 Million and almost half last years sales. If Avanti can keep that rate of new contracts going through things should start to look up and might see some market appreciation and take this share out of the doldrums.
Nice big contract. I'd say this is undervalued at this point imo . Gla
Let's look at this critically. Another sub-par quarter with only $16mn in sales. Annual sales of $62m - a 25% reduction on the previous year. Now let's think through the scale of the problem. Annual interest payments are running in the order of $70m, with depreciation running at about 50m. Just to be able to breakeven at a pre-tax level, the firm has to generate EBITDA of $120m. Now, let's be charitable, and assume an EBITDA margin of 50% (similar to Inmarsat), you need to generate revenues of $250m. This is before paying down any debt, or leaving anything for the shareholders. meanwhile, the Company is burning through cash at a rate which suggests that the interest costs might have to rise before they fall. is it doable? It's not completely beyond the range of possibilities. Is it likely? I don't think so, and the stock price reflects this concern. And before you start GCC, this is critical thinking backed up with some numbers, something I've never seen you do. If you disagree, how about you hold the insults, and come back with your own numbers.
Thanks scat so it is, still a cracking rns though it shows our services are still in demand imo.
Last night's - Simply confirmation of the arrangements we already had in place. This morning's - EXCELLENT !! Great to see the sales effort rewarded. Long way to go, yes, but we're back on the road to Williams' £21 per share target, albeit it will take longer than originally anticipated. Time for a top up !
Check your currency, this is all in $ but nevertheless this is excellent news. We've turned the corner and there's only one way from here.
Cracking news today, sales for the year £62 million and a new contract worth £21 million.
I think they are generally good news in that they confirm approval by a majority of the note holders which allows AVN to benefit from the lower interest charges - I haven't seen any new nasties but I only glanced through the first 20 pages. The covenants around EBITDA targets have been substantially loosened which is good news and bad - we are not going bust any time soon but the profit growth may not be as quick as we would hope. Sales growth will be the key success factor as we know, we have bought more breathing space is probably the best we can say for now.....
Dear Jip Are you having a larf? There is absolutely no chance of that here. The best chance you have is that GCC will be here tomorrow saying that it must be good news 'cos he hasn't seen any bad news. I would bet it's bad news, because it came after the close of business. You should know either way by about 8:20 tomorrow morning, but which time, either way it will be to late. Best wishes Another Idiot. x
Tut tut, the last word again MTB ?? An old olde strategy. Too old perhaps...
Not at all GCC - the pleasure of dealing with a super-brain such as your good self is reward enough without the need for monetary remuneration. Think of all that money your posts have saved for others....oh, wait a minute, that's not quite right is it........? (Frowny emoji)
