i know hopefully they've done some work in Africa and this is bringing us something good soon

if this suddenly goes shooting back over 1p wouldnt surprise me at all. always seems to be the case when there is oversold or massive drop in a short time frame for no reason. hopefully starts to get back on track now

Yup I think maybe those sellers felt this was coming and the shorts maybe knew so it’s more about the essence of what they need to do here is deliver a contract . They delivered one for Phoenix already so we need another one

Just ring the broker yourself tomorrow if you want to confirm the shorters...trying to short this ...theyll be closing soon i am sure.... Ian keeps dropping news like he has been over the past week. next week if this continues good luck to them....

for sure it is shorters....i had this confirmed when i rang IG, ring them yourselves if you do not believe, i am confident this will swing back the other way soon just like last time this happened...

Hi Daddy, hope your well , there are shorts open , I made an enquiry with IG and HL yesterday and today which both brokers told me the same and confirmed.,

I expect actually someone has shorted this based on the distressed seller we've had maybe. I think some games have been being played in terms of the SP.

I'm waiting to hear back from other brokers as well on the shorting. Mr 1m is still in play looking at the trades, could be the shorter , if Price can keep delivering the good news , momentum will cause these shorts problems for sure.

this happened last time, but i am sure all those shorters would have seen themselves get done previously and wont make the same mistake again :-)) or maybe they will .

yeah because shorts are open but getting jitters for sure...last time this happened we went over 1.2p

I've found that a number of short positions still open, but these will no doubt close soon if ian delivers a further contract news...and especially if he delivers over the next days or week the squeeze will be hard

Many moving parts in completing deals in this industry...I am just pleased that with the long period of silence....there was work being done in the background...

i can't imagine that working a deal with a global company like cobra and being a lead developer is something that can just be agreed overnight....anyway point is some things don't just happen overnight...

Reality:

- investors complained of silence and EQT responded now with regular updates (which have all been very positive)
- investors wanted a contract = EQT delivered a contract with Pheonix Energy
- Phoenix Energy wanted proof that the tech would help them and if it did Pheonix would enter more projects with EQT (they just did enter into this - again very positive)

investors have recently now gone back to the same banter as 8 months ago pre-phoenix asking for more contracts (this is nothing alarming since every share on AIM has the same demands from investors) and investors are again asking for improved communications from the company (they just released a very good interview from the CEO yesterday!)
