Ok good post. Real company and real people etc. I see positives going forward but are they going to be able to get enough contracts and revenues to reward investors? Off all time lows noe but will the share price recover in time?
'Power', please do not believe all you read on here, far better to do your own research: Todays statistics, were 323 trade's, 2.5m share's sold, against 4.2 m bought . . . . . . suggesting very few buyers, the people to 'listen' too, even read let alone take any notice of most of the 'anchors [with a capital W] who seem to spend all day keyboarding here despite not even having shares in the company - they just get a kick out of seeing their words in print and feeling important when instead of being ignored as they should be, there is a reply, to THEM!! They then believe they are having a conversation . .WOW . . . on a chat board open the world over, how important are they??? . . One has to feel very sorry for such lonely folk, so much time on their hands and no one to actually talk too! Mind you it's probably quite fortunate they don't, as many would finish black and blue if they dared say face to face what they get away with here! Shame the boards are not better monitored as most of todays post's wouldn't appear at all as they do not comply with board posting rules - 7 pages of f' all, and yet the people who actually matter, todays buyers outstripped the sellers buying 1.7 milliion or 68% more shares - that's real, not 99% of ignorant or biased opinions 'printed' here. AVN has a real future, there are real people running it and it is supported by real people interested in it, rather than the mostly ignorant nameless faceless 'anchors that inhabit this board. NB Posters are more informed about AVN on 'other boards' - you get less intrusion too.
Must come down a bit like satellite technology. Cannot wait for the launch sometime this year....finance sorted no it hasn't debt pile as increased it ain't rocket science it's science fiction .
Sorry that was 3.9%... I'm getting excited
Cracking performance today finished just up 4%....
MTB- i have learnt a few hard lessons before in shares. So i wont let myself get excited over some news. but over cautious, you could miss the boat. i am all ears....
Some huge buys showing. Not exactly small punts
Looks like GCC has finally lost it folks......
Spot on Real Deal 2. Order books expanding, Financing sorted, and another Sat on the way, we are definately looking in better shape now. But you can rely on MTB and his many slimy entities to distort the facts, emphasise the negatives, and de-ramp for all they're worth to save they're master's shorts. The examples are all set out below.

Just an observation as I know how you guys get angry when anyone points out that this share is doomed beyond description but a couple of weeks ago we had a 50% rise on the back of some 'encouraging' news about additional borrowing........And today we have some basically indecipherable crud out which Im still struggling with but effected a 27% rsie at one point. I hate to labor the point but price action says fat lady coming soon.
Power - and yet the stock is now down! You seem like a decent chap/lass, so a word of warning: please don't get sucked in by a slew of new positive posters who are simply here to try and ride the wave of a perceived bit of good news, and help it on its way with a fast flurry of banal and unsubstantiated positive comments. They're literally in it for an hour or two to try and make a few quid, and they always crop up on small volatile stocks like this one, have nothing of interest to say, and then, they quickly disappear into the ether when it all blows over.

...normality resumes - Stock now down 4%, new brainless rampers disappeared, old variety still with us no doubt.......
MTB- you cant ignore the fact that the levels of interest in this share is astronomical, some news of winning contracts and the sp shoots off like a rocket, regardless of the debt. The contracts weren't even that significant. What i am saying is "dont snub at it just yet". otherwise, you have been right so far.
In what world can 'finance looking healthy' ever be applied to this Company? It's a quote from Realdeal's post, and subsequently endorsed by GCCRa. Anyone surprised........?

Well that's my view as well Scotty, but laughably, this has been referred to as 'trolling' on this Board.....
I ducked in and out this morning. So no harm done. Its a shame as there is clearly a demand for the business but it seems to be on a tight rope with that amount of debt.
No Scotty, it is not the total debt by any means. In December they had $670m of outstanding debt, since which time they have drawn a further $100m, so now around $770m. I have assumed an average interest rate of 9% (generous as I think the weighted average is nearer 9.5%) to get to $70m pa. I do hope you didn't buy believing the debt was only $100 - $150m.
Exactly. And guess what, the pattern holds true! Back to 10p almost
In an earlier post you mention annual interest payments of $70m a year which for me was alarming. Was that a typo that should have been 7m. I am fairly new to AVN so wont have all the detail and certainly having gone through every RNS. Are you saying the new 100m facility and payment of 50m to the previous facility is not the total debt they are servicing ?
.....a big stock price move attracts a bunch of mindless rampers with no actual investment thesis or knowledge. JIPjones, your post below is spot on. The $21mn contract is over 3 years, so only $7m per year. As I said below, the revenue shortfall is nearer $200m pa, so the Company needs a lot more of these.
What can i say? we are not out of the woods yet. But let's just enjoy what we have achieved so far.
