Scardey, you'd have no problem finding the gentleman on Linkedin working for Medusa19 if he did. Obviously no need to share accordingly but will re-inforce any ideas for yourself, sure he will have. I have an idea of whom it may be. I have had Medusa totted in to play a heavy part for us, they haven't invested so heavily and stuck around for a giggle. Great work and appreciate the updates.
Not long now!
This is brilliant, thanks a lot gents, great to have this information shared with all LTH’s, it’s getting exciting now.
I'd say the guy was middle management, defo worked for Medusa, mid to late 30's, he even mentioned Kumani at one point (however you spell it)...Really knew his stuff re: viral loads / CT values. The two ladies sat at a table taking the last two tests, looked like they were self-swabbing. When I say that, I can't say they definately self-swabbed (because I was busy talking to your man), but the two of them were sat on one side of a pretty wide table, with the Medusa lady sat opposite. Didn't see the Medusa lady make any movement whatsoever whilst I was there, so can only deduce self-swab.
@radia they are a 3rd party, neither test developer or manufacture.
https://alderleyanalytical.com/good-luck-medusa-19/ Is it us ???
This thread has brightened up the day - Scaredy some epic dedication to the cause!
Shame Sir Al wasn't there doing some meet and greets could have asked for a calendar so you don't forget what day it is again and maybe got him to sign your shumper!
Well done both of you great feedback.
Is it us?
Just read your thread scardey, or is it inspector clouseau, not long now until the boooooooom in the roooooooom ( apply french accent )
Brilliant scaredy - but was he a joe public volunteer who knows how to swivel a swab or was he a Medusa inside knowledge NDA type person?
Nice one chaps. Good work.
But... Serious question, why are medusa running this study? Shouldn't it be run via 3rd party?
LinkedIn post been removed.
I will wonder why............
Ok, back now. Just give some more details whilst it's fresh in my head. In no particular order.
When he told us he'd run out of tests, I said "sure you can't find anymore". He said "just wait" and nipped out of the room for a bit. Came back and said "sorry lads, we don't have any left. Wish we did because we need the numbers". I said "Can't you nip out and get some more? Where are the tests, Liverpool?". He looked a bit taken aback by that and he hesitatingly said "Err, no, somewhere in Cambridgeshire, I think"
Asked him what the read time was. He said "20 minutes". Then I said "Don't you get a decent read after 10 minutes, though". He said "Well it depends how much virus there is. Do you know about viral loads?". I said "Yeh, I know a bit about ct values and I know that the Avacta test is 100% at ct<27". He started laughing. He said "Well, you get a very clear read line pretty quickly when the person's got a high viral load". (sorry, guys, I regret not asking him to put a number of minutes on that, but the way he said it made it sound pretty quick to me). I then said to him "It pretty much blows Mologic out of the water, doesn't it". He started laughing again.
Perhaps the most encouraging thing I took from that is when he said with a really pleased look on his face "The study has gone really well". It was like he couldn't wait to tell me and Robbo that (he looked pretty pleased, didn't he Robbo). What was more impressive was that he volunteered that information early on and we hadn't even asked him about the success or otherwise of the study.
Need a brew and a fag. Will update if I remember other stuff.
Yes well done guys - have yourselves a big SP rise when the big news finally hits :-)
I agree with the others - real IIs there (Investigative Investors) well done to you both. Good work scardey_cat to get the additional details - saved me from having to say 'typical of Avacta' in response to them running out! :-)
Well, if ever there was an omen.......... we will know very soon.
Well done lads!
One of you hide in a box and deliver the parcel to medusa. Wait until midnight and the building is quite and break out of your trojan horse and see what you can find in their offices and let us know.
If it goes wrong and they open the parcel on receiving it thus blowing your cover or worse potentially getting arrested, have spotify on and "Full monty" ready to play on your phone. As soon as someone opens that box pretend you are a stripper for Carol on receptions birthday.
Good job guys ;-)
Thats some serious investor dedication. Not bad for a Bertie ;)
Cheers Scardey & Robbo from Ireland, Well done guys..............
scardey_cat This has made me proper chuckle, well do you! Top effort
Come on lads get round the back of that building and have a rummage through them bins. Their has to be something with an Avacta logo on it!
Scardey_Cat and Robbo thanks for the entertainment and update. Looking forward to buying you both a pint at the Whetherby Whaler
Is this actually true or just some wind up???
Did you get a selfie?
actually lmao at the image of you and Robbo rugby tackling some poor woman to the round with a swab up her nose ;o)
Thanks for taking the time to go and find out.
