I haven’t said anything about BP or IIs being thick as mince, never mentioned them. You and moaniman are though. Thicker than mince maybe, full steak I’d say
Bump
Benharper
And yet you think that the IIs and BP are as thick as mince for not seeing what you can see even though their combined knowledge eclipses yours and they probably have access to more data than you do.
Yep these scientists, what do they know eh Moaniman? Take me back to the dark ages, the good old days when you were lucky to reach adulthood.
When do we think this will hot 40p??
Moniman, that is one of the most stupid posts I've read on this forum. Amd that takes some doing.
This company reminds me of the CERN project run by a bunch over educated burkes using the Hadron Colider project in Switzerland/France..10,000 scientists have given themselves high paid jobs for life, supposedly looking for imaginary ghost particles that probably don't exist, but the Governments supplying the €billions in funding are too stupid to realise 😳 the whole thing is an expensive job creation scheme for academics to play with, a bit like the other bunch of scientists looking for God particles and fusion energy. Now I wonder what that has in common 🤔 with AVCT? JMO Adyor!!! 🤣
Bella..okay well that would still be over 10m so we will see
Ipadtrader...nah..I think they are UK based...the UK is in Europe...just not in the EU.
@Bella6532 I don't think we will see a TR1 because even if the 'European fund' doesn't sell, being non UK based they don't have to issue a notification below 5% which would be 18m shares and it's unlikely that anybody who participated in the placing (bearing in mind the total allocation) will have a holding of that size.
There was an RNS the other day, so no news blackout.
👍
Thanks Bella, much appreciated 😊
Ice...they don't issue the TR1 Avacta does. A new investor only have to tell Avacta officially when they hold 3% then at every 1 % increase. Some companies choose to quietly forget...or delay notification if they are filling a large order for themselves and then speak out once the order is completed.
As soon as Avacta receives details of holding from the investor they notify the market with a TR1...now, if there is still a news blackout these might be held off or if an investor is currently buying more they too might be holding off.
We need to know who the European guys are...
Ice - 'they figured out they could get significantly better deals further on in the trial.'
They being Shaun Chilton (arrived June 2023) and CBO Dr Simon Bennett (arrived Dec 2023), as well as AS with presumably the input of Chairman Dr Eliot Forster.
IMO AS and EF, without the input of SC or SB prior to June 2023 were more liable to make the kind of mistakes they are accused of here, than they are now.
That said, the gamble to seek licensing deals this quarter was on all four watches.
SB should make a big difference to the PoV of the CEO, who would need to act with the support of the Chairman.
But CEO and Chairman have the choice whether to take his advice or not.
For me should SB leave short or medium term without a replacement, then we are back to pre June '23 times.
I see him as being key to bringing value to shareholders, and I would like to know more about the input provided by Shaun Chilton. - Like what is his raison d'être, - is he at the top table as a sounding board, of is he proactive.
I see our problems as being in the care of all four, not just AS as being the only visible leader prior to June '23.
Was talking about TR1’s for institutional investors REDUCING holiding’s selling down percentages since Dec. Apologies for the confusion, I expect TR1’s to be issued for potentially the USA fund and Healthcare fund in due course not sure time scale to issue them though.
@icecool .."also it wouldn’t have been significant amounts as no TR1s were RNS’d"
That doesn't make any logical sense ..you are making my point .... the reason there are no Tr1's is probably because they have sold......let's not forget these 'funds' thanks to a nod and a wink form Al were selling down from maybe 115p so not only have they made huge profits their weighted average is likely above 75p which enables them to be able to keep selling down well into the 40's and still make huge profits.
The point that's being made about a low ball over is a very valid one because AS's miss management has possibly left the company open to a very low offer like 150 from BP..but don't worry because while many LTH even at that price will still be underwater AL with his options will be able to get by with his 9M.
“AVA6000 is not likely to see FDA approval anytime soon, at least before the current cash pot runs out. Which puts to bed the cold ones theory.”
What’s stopping AVA6000 getting approved for STS phase 2 we have cash runaway Q1 2026 and a partnership being done for phase 3 for international exposure done under different cancer types (breast etc). My theory works fine. Thanks for commenting though much appreciated.

They need to partner. They need to licence. £30m every couple of years won’t cut it.
40p by Friday??
Let’s see what happens, if the vast majority of PI’s want Smith out then he will get punted, unfortunately we are in an echo chamber where management discontent based on not selling at 130 and buying back at 50p may seem stronger than it actually is. I’m extremely convinced this placing was done to go solo because the data is so compelling, not to partner up in phase 1 as originally planned, they figured out they could get significantly better deals further on in the trial. Hence where we are.
Ice let's hope that's within the next 12 months or we will think 50p is a stellar price.
AS has presided over an absolute cluster feck and needs putting back in the lab pronto
"Yeah pretty much, ok let’s park this then and see if he gets voted out at the AGM"
What happens at the AGM wont determine who was right or wrong. If he gets voted out you could still be right and visa versa.
Good to be able to discuss without it getting heated and personal so thank you.
@Morris, i dont think any normal thinking person in this group can be happy with AS at the helm but unfortunately that's the way it is for now. He needs to move but unfortunately cannot see it happening anytime soon.
Just hope the science comes through and BP save the day.
Onwards Avacta!
“You are happy with AS behind the steering wheel and I'm not. Nothing either of us say will change the others views”
Yeah pretty much, ok let’s park this then and see if he gets voted out at the AGM.
