Companies House register says he resigned. Don't know whether that is 100% believable - is 'Sacked' an option?
A.Smith left the company on 30th April.
Has until 29th July to exercise his options, or did he leave on bad terms and has lost the lot.
If a good leaver, the recipient will keep the number of options already vested, and any remaining options will be cancelled. They'll then need to exercise these options into shares within 90 days. Any options not exercised within this timeframe will be cancelled. If a bad leaver, they will lose everything.

Probably a bit of a biased view as the AI bot draws heavily, almost exclusively or totally, on Avacta source material! That is a consequence of Avacta having put nothing out in the peer review universe and of no one else writing independently about the application of Affimers in cancer therapeutics!

Today we have launched a new plan to tackle antimicrobial resistance (AMR). This national action plan commits the UK to:
🔵 reduce use of antimicrobials
🔵 strengthen surveillance of drug resistant infections before they emerge
🔵 incentivise industry to develop the next generation of treatments

Rambo, good summary of Alan's approach, why would he change it when it's funding his lifestyle. I disagree that right now they should look too far beyond ava6k.
They have a lovely poster, brochures available, for affimers calling out why they're superior. It's achieved nothing. They could produce the same for precision, now rebranded for a comparison against ADCs, showing how great the platform is. They need a commercial product out there proving it. Switching the pipeline to compete with ADCs isn't cheap, they're spending a lot on R&D. Personally I'd rather see them do that once they're self sustaining rather than diluting.
I think today's "touk" forgets they "green binned" me a few days ago.
Most sane people would agree you are on here 24/7 and the frequency and intent in your posts would suggest you are borderline obsessed with this share, rather than a benign bystander. 6 months of posts, only avacta, not particularly invested? Why the negative slant on the only stock you appear to be invested in? Needs some explaining touk...

Excellent analysis and one of the reasons I read this BB
JT great post. I think one of the biggest issues we have suffered from for years under AS is a lack of commitment on the PR front and an unwillingness to see the SP higher due to funding. It is as clear as day to me that his plan was to fly under the radar with the aim of building value, going through the trials before too many BP noticed. This has created several issues
1. Limits his options on funding which as we have found out has had very negative consequences and each of there last placings has been lower than the one before it.
2. Retail have shouldered most of the risk for that plan if indeed that was the case (I believe it was) and sentiment is shot and almost all are out of the money at sub 50p.
3. Lack of stability in the SP and a poor share register
4. Relying on the loan note to suppress the SP so funding could be achieved as he spent too long listening to the brokers in his ear
5. P1A has taken far too long with no efforts to expedite some areas ie why couldn't Q2W start at 160mg/m2 in parallel to Q3W dosing much higher cohorts?
6. This approach has cost him his job
Now AS is out the way a completely different approach can be taken. We absolutely should see positive reactions to newsflow, non dilutive options prioritised and striking deals. This isn't about the 6k trial now time to adjust the optics to think much bigger.
Interesting. Possibly the most balanced post on here for months. And a clear and succinct analysis.thanks
Many seem to forget this is an open BB that hosts individuals in both camps, the mere fact one camp is currently losing traction is rather more down to the Company’s actions than any individual. Disagreement is healthy if kept civilised !

Sorry just come back from the gym.
I’m not on here 24/7.
I use this BB to get alerted to news on a number of shares. I only comment on here when someone posts unfounded ramptastic drivel.
I am invested in Avacta though it makes up an increasingly smaller proportion of my investments. And I have been investing successfully for over 30 years.
It's a company that's doing something similar ie FAP and it's share price has recently done rather well.
Spiked to a similar height 3 years ago before falling back to baseline.
You're right Donald, fascinating, your point being?
Perhaps their tech is working and Avacta's isn't?
Is that what you're wanting to emphasise?
I don't care what you say just that your logic in continually castigating me and projecting false accusations at me is somewhat confounded by the FACTS
If you are talking about the shortlisting award? Well, AVCT have been nominated twice before and not won so I don't quite yet see the significance.
If they win it then great, but that will be new news and then i can see if it materially changes anything. Right now for me, it doesn't.
You think 3 posters are the reason this BB is rubbish? Not the fact that the decent posters have been 100% wrong in every forecast they have made might be the cause and can't face the fair criticism of their misplaced analysis?
How has my analysis been worthless by the way? What contribution have you made that was so valuable?
Bravo! M Mc must be proud of you
There are individuals on the bb that produce constant negative comments that continually try to erode people’s belief on Avacta. They only shout out the negative facts whilst they muddy the waters on positive facts. They always an ulterior motive, be it they’re short or they’re looking for a low entry or even they’re been paid to disrupt this bb.
Wyndy and others have continually disrupted the board to the nth degree. It’s a real shame that we’ve lost so many good posters because of this disruption.
They say they’ve been right all along, but a broken clock is right twice every day and hindsight is a wonderful thing. The fact that Wyndy and others have said they are/were ‘investors’ yet they write on this board daily and intensively makes it clear that they abusing their position to suit their agenda.
They have been caught on many occasions using different accounts, accusing individuals and causing confusion. Whilst they are supported by a fund, it’s getting harder for them and they’re aware that they have limited time to achieve their aim hence why their messages are becoming more frequenter and more intense. Things can and will flip rapidly.
If the LSE admin won’t take a stand against these trolls then it’s onto us. Report their posts, don’t reply to them and continue having constructive conversations on this board.
And for those who have a great insight and can stir up good discussion or even help those to clarify scientific jumble then please continue to do so. Your hard work is greatly appreciated by people on reading this board including myself my
To those Individuals trying to disrupt this board, shame on you.
To those who are invested in Avacta, remember why you invested in the first place. Was it because of the science, management, or the fact that you could be investing in a company that could save millions of lives. Either way, it’s your decision.
The science works, there has been constant positive guidance on AV6000. We are seeing similar company’s (even at pre clinical) being bought for $bn’s. As Al said, our market cap should be around 300-450p.
The AIM market has seemed to have turned positively and I expect funds and PIs to return in force.
This is the time to be invested in what you believe in.
Something will happen soon and the SP flip. Good luck to those with shorts or trying to buy in lower
If anyone remains in doubt about the disruptive and worthless contributions of Wyn , Eggy & Touk
It is very telling that they have made zero contribution to the single most interesting and relevant thread posted here for days., thanks GJE, JT etc
Sadly, this board has lost many decent posters as they are drowned out by repetitive, pointless, boring, dull nonsense from the three stooges.
PS WYN, I'd prefer that you report this post and get it deleted as opposed to another boring 'stop picking on me, I was right about the LFT' essays.
I see you evade the question. What’s your excuse to be on here 24/7, seemingly exclusively?
I'm surprised you haven't all been sacked.
i wonder how much of all the “not boosting” ****** was the worm tongue (tp) whispering to him that his company is too expensive and should raise through their grubby little wonga book of “top quality” investors.
Touk, Yes, however, I’m paid per post to prop up sentiment and there is a team of us that rotate aliases. What’s your excuse?
I asked Perplexity 'Does Avacta's affimer technology have applications in cancer therapeutics?'

AS's strategy was in effect to not boost the Sp which was pretty much down to two factors ...1) That Avacta was 'his' company and...2) The disregard he had for the SH base.......I hoping that the new direction that Avacta are taking has amongst other things on its to do list.....some SP boosting
Tomorrow
The flaw in your argument against me and others, is that I have been correct to be cautious and to be able to read more accurately both the market AVCT were trying to sell into during covid and there ambiguous RNS's.
I saw the LFT covid market shrinking way before most here did and therefore realised that the window AVCT for suceesful commercial testing had, was likely to be missed and therefore all the £100 ex china forecasts made here were very likely to be wrong.
Does that make me a fudster or just a bit smarter in my analysis than those that were here at the time?
Regarding this trial, based on the history of AVCT (nothing else just the company's own record), with their continued and so far 100% track record of missing self imposed deadlines, does it make me a fudster to expect that future deadlines are likely to be missed and that if they are, then financing would likely become an issue with the obvious depressing force on the SP?
Does that make me a Fudster being correct or just a bit smarter than the people who keep shouting that I am somehow a plethora of aliases, work for boiler rooms , and generally manipulate the SP?
The theme that I have noticed since being here is that the majority are too thick to understand the most basic rules of investment even when it repeatedly plays out in front of their own eyes year after year.
Limited portfolio and too much capital in any one stock, emotionally involved and seemingly no idea or plan about capital protection.
And as I said up top. my analysis has been broadly correct and that if you are all so conecerned that I might have influenced anyone then all I would have done is save them money.
So what exactly is your point?
That I should have chomped chomped at 160p or bought at 135p as that was never going to be seen again?
That AVCT can't miss? Not to worry how long it takes to monitise this tech assuming it works? To ignore the fact that we know nothing of whats going on behind the scenes?
But as always the height of some posters analysis here, is that it is a few posters on this BB that are soley responsible for the current SP and its fall from 285 over the last 3 years.
Brilliant
Morning so any news as to when this share might go upwards?
