Its called fat finger calculus.
Lc81, I think you need a better calculator, your about £3,240,000 out. Your working it out as at 1p per share , were at 1 tenth of a penny, so if they sell off every free share at present share price they get £360,000 plus change. If we get back to 1p a share whoop whoop , then then make £3.6 million .
5 BUYS IN A ROW!!!!
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the
Inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men
Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will
shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness
for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious
Anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers
And you will know
My name is JB when I lay my vengeance upon thee
TPT - Yes, The OECD Guidelines apply to both the country in which the enterprise is taking place and the international company that owns the business.
They are not regulations but unenforceable guidelines and recommended practices.
It does sound, however, that the Slovenian government requires AST to follow those guidelines. Unless I am misunderstanding the article.
Alwaysup,
Just been reading this newspaper report and OECD Guidance Documents again.
Their guidance documents are just that and not actually legislation and Best Available Techniques, to which their guidance refers to and the necessity to comply with. The compliance being as equally applicable to the Government and associated Official Bodies/Officers etc administering such legislation.
It sounds like the complaint to the OECD based on the NGO’s report document has been sent to ARSO by them and they refused to comment. Jure Leben also refused to comment and from reading through the OECD guidance documentation further it would appear that it potentially identifies his failings as a Government Minister/Officer too, particularly in regards to acting beyond his powers based on a hidden agenda to promote his biased opinions, a clear ABUSE OF POWER!?....
The OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises are recommendations addressed by governments to multinational enterprises operating in or from adhering countries. They provide non-binding principles and standards for responsible business conduct in a global context consistent with applicable laws and internationally recognised standards. The Guidelines are the only multilaterally agreed and comprehensive code of responsible business conduct that governments have committed to promoting.
TPT - Good article. It spells things out in black and white, I think. Ascent has to conduct operations in compliance with OECD guidelines. Just have to study the guidelines and proceed with operations. Seems simple.
360m shares allocated to riverfront .... yes or no.... unless you point me to where it says they can’t sell at a particular price then if I chose to off load at 0.1 p equals £3.6m ... why is it so difficult to understand that they did not buy shares they were allocated shares in exchange for £1m now start reading between bod ambiguity ... ffs is not rocket science is it? Have you ever seen a deal in aim where the financier loses out.... specially in these cirunstances can’t believe how nahive people are here ... check hendos history same story
Hawaii- I cant see why it should be any other outcome. I may Do A big top up tomorrow as we are entering the end game.
JB pleaded for patience from shareholders in the recent podcast, perhaps he is expecting a positive outcome from the appeal.
Tango 1,
I was thinking exactly the same as yourself and was wondering why Jure Leben hadn’t made a bigger thing of it, particularly if it was that good and supported his campaign to single-handedly destroy Ascent Slovenia business.!...?....
The best write up on the Report and the basis of the claim to the OECD I can find is in the below news report link which is more neutral on the matter than some of the other political and environmental extremism ones used to draw in readers!...

Interesting where it says the following amongst most other interesting stuff in the article:-
"The investor appealed against the decision to Arso, and the second instance (the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning) dismissed the appeal. Arso was informed in September that the investor had initiated an administrative dispute in the Administrative Court," the agency recalled. However, they added that they were not competent to comment on a complaint under the OECD Guidelines for the Responsible Operation of Multinationals.....
Former Environment Minister Jure Leben, who revealed in an Ars inquiry into how British society is doing, declined to comment on the OECD's appeal today.
The PLOT THICKENS???.....;-)
I think it best to deal with what we know:-
1, We are awaiting an appeal at the administrative courts since July14th.
2, All of a sudden 4 months later NGO's submit a complaint, Call me synical but I think it is far more than a coinsidence that this complaint has come now, we already know Slovenia has more Leaks than The whole of Wales, so obviously something has triggered this response.
Either:-
1 Leak from the Slov Gov to NGO's that the permit is going to be released.
2 The appeal heard and positive for ast and the NGO's filing a complaint before the 10 day cooling off period
3 The NGO's file a complaint just for the sake of it, Even though they could have done it within ten days of the hearing
Whichever way you look at it something has triggered therereaction and it must be against their position.
Friday is usually the day Geo informs AST!
Hawaii- LC81 can not explain as it is total rubbish.
Wish these would explain why we 've raised 2 million quid this year no court case, no compressor, no EIA. No new contact with ina. What the feck just to pay wagies , disgusting
LC81
Once again you come up with numbers concerning Riverfort I can make no sense out of - I asked before to explain how you suggest Riverfort can make £3m from the funding deal.
Kindly explain clearly how Riverfort can make £3m, provide your working out for scrutiny - I cannot see it at all.
Why do people nee saying it’s in riverfronts interest to keep the price up lolol read the rns .... they have not bought shares .... worst case scenario at 0.1 they will make over £3M for a £1M loan that’s the kind of deal our BOD is good at .... forgot to add plus interest on the £1M now get on the phone to Castro and Colin and ask them how this is good value for shareholders .... they are desperate and need salaries paying simples
Bradis, It is in Riverforts interest to get it higher to maximise returns not lower, Probably why they are keeping their powder dry now...
Either that or Riverfort offloading...
One thing that always repeats on AST is the Volume starts shooting up before an rns so that is the trigger!
