i suspect the day wont be as bad as you think !
ASOS on Sky News now.
Short and trade dogsxxt U.K., DONT invest in it!!!
Hahahahah
@canetoad all we need to see is that IIs are holding strong or even better, the likes of T.Rowe Price are loading up (once this settles down a bit of course) and this will begin its recovery. Probably won't happen overnight though.
@HeresHopin. My point is that the company is highly profitable. Going forward, all companies will have supply chain issues and will be increasing prices. Companies that are this bombed-out are usually unprofitable and/or have funding problems.
The big drop here is because of the personalities of the people that invest in stocks like Boohoo and Asos... they panic. You just had to look back and see that this share moved from barely above 1000p to almost 6000p in ~1y. That's an incredible range! Seeing that should guide your investing in a company like this, not to go 'all-in' on day 1. But FOMO always gets people...
"Hope some people reduced before today. Not great results as expected."
Absolutely not. I'll be increasing, once the annoying parasite spoofers have departed. Revenue and Profits are up.... sp almost 50% down from peak - you'd think that they're not profitable or have problems.
Hope some people reduced before today. Not great results as expected.
"There’s clearly an issue and Nick out like this is not good. "
I could not care less about the CEO leaving. It's not as hard as people think to find a new CEO... Why would anybody buying their clothes care about who the CEO is?
Never said I traded. I always said charts make no sense to me. I work on calculating a long term value and if there’s upside I go for it it
The difficulty with that has been atm the “headwinds” seems to be sticker and more painful than I have tried to assume
I don’t literally mean I won’t look today I’m just saying it won’t be pretty
There’s clearly an issue and Nick out like this is not good. There were sexual harassment claims a few weeks back maybe it was that?
But your ceo doesn’t go two days before a capital markets day to which he has been pivotal so far. That just isn’t a good sign
US performance is good but U.K. has a strong slow in it. EU I think is just a mess for everyone atm. ROW is same
Growth in Asos Design also wasn’t inspiring. They really need to get cracking with some M&A and start buying in more brands
Partner fulfilment I was calling for an nice to see
Same here and I think it's as good a time as any to be looking at a change at the top.
If the share price hadn't already dropped so low I'd have been worried but at £2.8b mcap I think it presents an opportunity.
Those results look good to me, with Revenue and Gross Profit both up. Obviously they have supply chain issues like every other business in the country and most in the world... But the crazies will say the results are terrible and try/predict a 20% drop in tyhe share pirce. That's fine. Bring it on and I'll buy another £25k worth!
I thought you traded these stocks Dan? If you think the reaction is going to be so ghastly wouldn't you be actively watching them not passively allowing your holdings to decrease in value?
Don’t think I’ll even look today!
