23 trading days left to secure a Nomad?
Then suspended.
A short February to then secure one or this is delisted.
Throw in the mix a boardroom war involving Hogan, an inept CEO and a Cardiff Estate Agent and this really is a s##t sandwich.
Oh, and no native permits for the mythical coal from Atlantis.
Hopefully everyone will be pleasantly surprised, although there’s no pleasing everyone :-) new solid battle-plan & nomad for starters
Apologies that should have been @ bhotsher
@ butcher. Follow the link on the webpage Sunlit posted further down, once on the page scroll to the bottom and you will find a contact email address there. Just drop an email to that address advising you are a shareholder with Altona and you'll get a response with info to follow next week.
An AIM board needs three things to run a company successfully: 1) relevant sector experience, 2) independence to ensure decisions are balanced and 3) diversity to bring new ideas into the company. If Zorbas and Hogan won this vote then Altona will have none of these things. Altona becomes a lifestyle company where the directors get rewarded and shareholders do not. It cannot happen, so we must ensure Messrs Zhang and Ma remain on the board to keep the company from making more poor decisions.
Sunlit / nightgaunt
How do I get included in email distribution list. Would love to see what Chinese have to offer before deciding which way to vote.
Clearly someone has seen sense & seen that he offers little value to the business, would love to know why he has been removed ?
You mean they've dropped the prolific International businessman?
The one that also has vast experience in the resource sector?
How odd?
Seems that leaked ramp backfired lol
So if you were a Nomad and your choice was to represent two Chinese or Hogan and Zorbas what would you do?
Tough one to call.
What projects are the Chinese offering before a possible delist and what are they supposed to be backing when you say $30 mill is still there?
why would you vote in favour of NL 'direction' given the track record over the last year?? talk about shareholder destruction since he took over. the $30m was/ is? still there so why not go for projects that these investors will back without a need for wipeout dilution.
Something not right here.
FYI Website is up and running! Difference is that Hogan is no longer mentioned ?! ATB https://leinad-energy.com/page/team/
Our CEO's track record look at last few rns's
1 Capital re-orginisation......outcome total disaster
2 Change of name...............outcome totally embarrassing disaster
3 GM date.............................outcome don't know what day of the week it is, really embarrasing
4 vote to get rid of Chinese directors ....outcome god knows but probably disastrous
CEO has to come clean as to reasons for this GM to vote off these directors
If you speak to any Nomad looking to take on any new companies. I guarentee you they will all say instantly no if there is a sniff of Chinese link. That's the reality regardless of their track record good or bad.
InvestingGenius
Mr Qinfu Zhang has over 30 years work experience in the fields of clean energy and manufacturing. Mr Zhang holds the position of chairman at Wintask Group Limited, Shaanxi Hailang Group, Hlevel Co. Ltd, and Fu'an Biology Technology Co., Ltd.
He was also good enough to serve as chairman of Altona.
Mr Ma is the nominated board representative of Sino-Aus Energy Group Ltd and joined the board in March 2016. He holds a number of directorships in China and has many years' experience in various companies, including those within sectors such as energy, engineering, real estate and technology. He brings a wealth of knowledge and business acumen to the company
In the rns on 2nd Feb the two companies represented by the above directors both reaffirmed their commitment to fund altona also in another rns on 24th April " Sufficient funds to complete the exploratory phase have been transferred to Altona's Australian bank account"!!
Sorry but there's something not right about trying to get rid of these directors and until our CEO gives a valid reason
then nobody will vote to get rid of them until he does.
Also why would a nomad refuse to sign up to Altona because two directors are Chinese are there no Chinese directors on any other UK listed company.
InvestingGenius could you please explain why you are so sure they will get voted off.
Thanks
This is all garbage. No new Nomad will sign up ANR with 2 Chinese Directors. It's an instant no no. They will be voted off 14th Jan and that should pave the way for new Nomad to sign. Anyone voting for them to stay on better be prepared for delisting. Suicidal idea
That's right Nightgaunt. And please spread the word to like-minded shareholders who want to see ANR back on its feet again.
Much appreciated. I take it we just need to email advising we are shareholders in ANR to be included in the group?
Night gaunt - that is correct about the email.
Please note we have had extensive discussions with Zhang Qinfu and Ma Chi. They have a clear and plausible strategy for 2019 and beyond should they remain on the Board. This will be shared with investors shortly.
Well put and couldn't agree more Sunlit. Is the email you mention the one starting c****right at the bottom of the page? If not can you provide some more information as I'll happily join to vote this down, the lack of information and cr@p we have been fed in the last year stinks of conduct at the very least bordering on self serving if not criminal.
If they are trying to remove the directors then presumably they have a reason to unknown to us.What have the Chinese directors done to put forward a plan to keep Altona from being delisted? I would rather give the board a chance to see what plans (if any) ,in the absence of anything, develop.
I fail to see what your argument is in terms of being in favour of any current or previous ANR directors? Shareholders have been well and truly shafted by the lot of them
We must defeat both resolutions to remove Zhang Qinfu and Ma Chi from the Altona Board. We have received no explanation from Leon Hogan, Nick Lyth and Robert Hales as to why they have served the shareholder requisition notice. Since Hogan, Lyth, Zorbas and their appointed puppets on the Board became involved, the SP has collapsed with hare- brained schemes, meaningless MoUs, all designed to shore up a rapidly falling SP. They have no prospect for success or revenue.
Mr Zhang and Mr Ma add stability and independence to a board which apart from them lacks all credibility in the market and with potential investors. No Nomad will touch Altona at the moment. Mr Zhang and Mr Ma are highly successful businessmen committed to Altona's success in the Arkaringa basin. They have the financial backing. Yes, they have been quiet but they have badly misled by board members, particularly over the Petroleum Exploration License. Please join the shareholder action group to defeat the Resolutions. You can find the email address if you go to the website (www.leanderpr.com) More information to follow on how we can crush the resolutions. If we don't, that's the end of Altona and our money. Thank you.
Good afternoon Guzzler! The only way it ever showed up prior was by typing “leinard energy Appleby” otherwise it just showed you to the website “coming soon” ? I don’t think it was supposed to be on as I had to go around the houses to find it initially? Imo All the best and a Happy Christmas and New Year to everyone!!
It's an old ploy.
They did it with the Spanish nonsense.
All it has achieved this time is to highlight the rogues gallery associated with URU and Hogan.
A huge red flag if ever there was one.
