Does anyone believe that they are seriously trying to find another Nomad, or are they deliberately heading for de-listing?
worth taking a look at @quantfury as this looks like how they will facilitate the whole thing, which when you look into it is based in Toronto & I believe Zorbas involved with
So ANR buy the technology from Leindos then use Quantifury to facilitate things - all with the springs being pulled by Zorbas - doesn't seem to be too many conflicts of interest there then ??
Alex the question was why didn't Zorbas throw his shareholding into the requisition pot. http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=ANR&ArticleCode=dkf0pasr&ArticleHeadline=Shareholder_Requisition_Notice
Zorbas or Eaton Equities have 13.8% stake in ANR, same size as Leon
Not only that but have a look through LinkedIn, hardly any information or history on any of the Leinad team members. Is it a real company? Do they have anything, formal contracts, assets etc.? If so can they prove it? Also strange that the website has just gone live (with the omission of LH) just after the challenge to the Chinese directors. All smells very dodgy to me.
Hi does anyone know where the Form Of Proxy that is supposed to accompany the circular is, I can't find it!
Guzzler don't think it is Zorbas style to rock the boat with the Chinese and think he would want to keep under the radar, could be a conflict of interest as Leinad Ltd is his baby.
I actually believe it's an oversight.
It's not the first either, there was a time when their amount of shares were incorrect but their percentage was correct.
So as it stands, Hogan 13.8%, Hales 1% and Lyths 0.2% add up to 15%.
Does anybody know how much Hales paid for his shares?
And why hasn't Zorbas thrown his 13.8% behind them?
So they can’t even write an RNS factually.
You're right, Jono44, I had missed that placing RNS. So either the figure in the Accounts at 30 June 2018 is wrong (simply copied across from the previous year-end) or he has disposed of the 4M shares. Actually I would have thought that the latter is rather unlikely.
If MCAMikeB's post is correct that he now owns 0.26% of the shares, then that would work out at about 5,200 or 5,300 which would suggest that he still holds the full amount and that the figure in the latest accounts is wrong.
He traded it Alex.
People should absolutely not mind their own business especially when it comes to Zorbas and Hogan. Interesting that Leinad are stating there’s no need for a share register. What are they covering up? And why has Hogan been removed from their website all of a sudden?
We only need 51% of the votes cast at the GM to defeat the resolutions, and not 51% of the shares in issue. A big difference. Zhang and Ma have 22%, and many PIs are going to vote against. Hopefully we will hear Zhang’s plan for 2019 next week.
Piltick
Placing Rns 23rd Nov 2917 Lyth subscribed for 4m shares so should have 5.3 m but is only owning up to 1.3 in final results as pointed out by guzzler1962, very strange and needs clarified.
Also to be noted is that E J Hales has 17,504,586 shares pre consolidaton.
And Hogan has 215m so this is approx 15% of total shares that are held by the three of them but they will also have Zorbas with Eaton equities 215 m.
So will have at least 30% of vote in their favour unless someone else can add to that tally?
So that would be 5,200, or 5,200,000 before consolidation. Yet the Accounts at 30 June 2017 show him having only 1,300,000 and I see no notifications of him acquiring any additional shares after that date.
This is the latest I could find and should be a true reflection: (source: alpha terminal) Zhang Qinfu (Wintask Group) 15% Eaton Equities (John Zorbas)13% Leon Hogan 13% Chi Ma (Sino-Aus) 6.4% Nicolaus james Lyth 0.26%
Didn't lose a packet on this. But I did sell at a loss, thankfully recouped that loss.
If I had continued to hold however I could have been wiped out.
10s of thousands of pounds.
I have a mate who's losses are 100s of thousands.
These losses were incurred on Hogan/Zorbas stocks, we held and we were lied to.
Now it's not my intention to hurt your investment, and you are correct, most people walk away.
But I hate the fact that others will get burnt, it is why I draw attention to the red flags.
As for the title of this thread, why was it left to me to point out that there is a discrepancy (if I've read it correctly) in Nick Lyths holding?
Good luck.
Most people move on if they sold or have you still got an axe to grind if you lost a packet?
Guzzler why the obsession about this share with all due respect particularly as you sold I think you said!
I spent quite a bit of time chasing the share register around a year ago.
My concern, which I made quite clear to Leander, (the only route open to me) was there was a seller.
I would get the usual response. Check AIM rule 26, Hogan maintains he still holds, people sell for a variety of reasons blah blah blah.
As a holder I made it my business.
I'm pretty sure if I chased now I would get the same response.
They haven't sold any.
Total nonsense.
It is the major shareholders duty to notify the company of any trades they undertake.
However, they are not obliged to do so........
In other words we should all mind our own business ha
Sure
Leon is a smart investor
There's no way he will sit and watch at his MRS ANR and URU holdings drop over £3M in value from highs
That's his holdings and what he does with them is his option and shouldn't bother anyone. That's entirely his business.
All If your shares are held by your stockbroker in a nominee account then you need to speak to them and give them your power of attorney to vote on your behalf. This is done by submitting a form of proxy. It can also be done using the CREST voting facilities but you will need to check with your stockbroker to ensure the correct method is used. It happens all the time and the process is not difficult. Don’t lose your vote by not being prepared.
Quinfu Zhang holds 220,000 shares which as CEO of wintask paid £3.2 M for that pleasure just a short time ago Did he, will he leave empty handed ? Don't think so. Clue is in link I posted earlier All the best wishes for year ahead
Anyone that believes Hogan and Zorbas watched their £125K investment hit £1.5 Million and retrace all the way back without selling a share are deluded.
Hogan was also buying MRS at under 3p. It hit 10p before retracing.
He has recently stated these are the only 2 shares he holds (bo##ox I know) but if they were he hasn't made any money from them.
I find that very very hard to believe.
