Alba always believed the main share holder value was in Gold, to get value out of the Greenland assets right now has been a very welcome bonus. Alba never planned to develop the Greenland assets themselves, and to have them sitting there without the means for development was never going to add value to our share price. The Joint venture situation proved fruitless, George stuck by his guns and did not sign a poor value joint venture deal, so the spin off idea arose. I believe this will in time add very significant value to Alba share price. Being undervalued the Greenland assets should see the Greenroc share price rise very quickly when it hits the market, and this will be very positive for Albas share price as well. When needed, Alba will of course be able to raise the £3 million or so needed to develop the Gold mine(s) into production on the back of the spin off, with no more share dilution for Alba share holders. All in all, its all looking very positive. i think so anyway.
yes so have I, indeed it is a bit of a pain the non ISA part of it
However primary bid doesnt cover every new offer and didnt cover this one.
It seems fully subscribed
Hi,
I am a private investor and I have invested via PrimaryBid several times only downside is it has to go into a trading account not Isa or sipp
@Glasir I dont believe that primary bid participation is available to PIs
Cheapest Greenroc shares you can get is by buying some Alba
Although undervalued and I agree with what’s been said, there was always the issue that we couldn’t as Alba ever really exploit the Greenland assets.
After acquiring the initial part of the licence …We’ve flown by in a plane, gone “wow !!!” bought some more from Artemis ? via having to spend an original 50k a licence which we then had to spend a ruck of money on ..146k then a further 438k on but realising the potential was always (however you looked at it,) how it was going to be difficult from a shareholder perspective to see its value come to fruition.
Now I’m sure some of our endless raises subsequently have been spunked on the assets (not just wages) but if this IPO gets away and Alba’s value of that is 6 million then we all should count ourselves well rewarded as to my mind it stands us at no more than a million quid.
Is that thanks George? I know you are p#####g about in a wet North Wales trying to find some gold .. but on this you’ve done me a five or a six bagger. (Something most of us struggle to do with our share picks and investment decisions). Alba is still on a five bagger from the lows of March 2020 itself … but let the herd come and go … this little baby at some time will do just great !!! (Even those who bought on the spike around 0.50)
WIth respect to Greenland asset development, then take Bluejay as a guide. Again something ive answered. Im sure a PEA / scoping study will put a more accurate figure on TBS and Amistoq. Others are at too early a stage of development to have any confidence in estimates
MR008 - Ive answered that question many times
£3M for a high degree of certainty to self sustainability
Timescale 18 months
At 0.265p per share, the market cap is £17m of which the stake in Greenland equals £6m, so the market values the gold in North Wales, Horse Hill and Ireland at £11m.
Greenland looks to be very modestly valued and so too now does the gold in North Wales.
Hopefully, the separate quotation of Greenroc Mining will enable the market to arrive at a fuller appreciation of both Greenroc and Alba.
Historically the share price has been significantly lower than it is today, in fact at one point it looked as if it might go bust. Within the last 12 months it has been more than double its current price. This deal gives it no cash but gives 54% of the new company, said to be worth over £6m. The question for me is how far will £5.2m go in developing the Greenland assets. My second question is how mush more money does George need to raise to get some gold out of Wales. I look forward to some answers from fellow posters.
I think you boys are spot on. 11million would be for TBS. Some buddies getting in on the act..... but as stated b4, if you think its a low valuation pile in here and own 54 % of any upward movement. :-)
It'll be interesting to see what does come of the new ipo.
Is their any chance that the alba shareholders might be allowed pre entry via primary bid etc?
It would be great for the de-watering permit to land next week
I expect all checks and dd will be carried out by the market admin b4 addmission. You can't even bank cash without your bank carrying out some dd. GL
Tully Crow.... I Agree.
Motasem Almotazbellah Khashoggi is the ultimate beneficial owner of Kadupul Limited.
Anyone else think that the £11.1m GreenRoc valuation doesn't come anywhere near what the true value could/should be?
Hi
Do we buy when the new company is listed on AIM?
Last ipo I bought was private and a rip off, CTAG!
Very interested in this one.
Thanks
GLA
Nice RNS . Alba have done so well in having the Greenroc spin out, rather than caving in and signing a bad joint venture deal to develop Greenland assets. George/Alba, a great move, that will bring an increased value to us Alba share holders. Exciting times ahead. Well done George and the team.
It looks as if Kadupul Limited may be the joint venture partner GF and Alba have been looking for, except that Kadupul may prove to be a partner for the Greenland portfolio as a whole and not for one project in particular.
Early days, time will tell.
@ nomlunga . please note there are several Companies registered as Kadupul one in Jersey one in Ireland and also the one you refer to in the U.K.
£6m valuation for Alba's 54% at the launch price, but the limited float means the price may well rise to an immediate premium over the launch price.
Alba remains clearly undervalued, imho.
Very suspicious?
Kadupul Limited [18.9% on IPO Company]
Dissolved on 3 November 2015 according to Companies House

?
Alba retain 54%, the balance being 46%.
Kadupul Limited's 18.9% takes 41% of that balance, so a very important chunk of the capital-raise has already been achieved.
