Ryan Mee, CEO of Fulcrum Metals, reviews FY23 and progress on the Gold Tailings Hub in Canada. Watch the video here.
@Elir71 Having recently attended the shareholder get together at Parys Mountain where a presentation was given by the CEO Joe Battershill and others. Gold was barely mentioned and production of gold was a very small part of the operation and its production many years away.
@HerbertDTurbot. The notion of Clogau Jewellers has been mentioned before. The consensus was that they are not a large brand and certainly not global players. Their premises are uninspiring, take a walk past their shop on Mostyn Street, Llandudno and you will probably agree.
My wife and I attended the presentation at Parys Mountain on Saturday.
May I publicly thank Brent for organising the presentation which was a smooth operation. The attendance of John Kearney and Peter from QME was an indication of their regard for the shareholders. A lot of effort went into the presentation, with the whole workforce present , along with local representatives of the heritage side and as Brent alluded to local people who were keen to get the mine working again for the benefit of the local community.
The whole day left us with a sense of energy and well being for the future of the mine and it’s prospects. Joe Battershill and all his staff were outstanding.
May I extend my thanks to them.
@1.butchers.bike. I totally agree with your remarks about the constant negative commentator.
Can I urge all on here to simply ignore his/her comments.
There is a similar poster ryanrhys on the other board.
Their life depends on our replies, simply not replying and not taking them on is the answer.
Ryanrhys has been a constant in this for more than a year.
@Brentharg. Would you please add my name to your list for the visit in September. Thank you in advance of your reply.
Having looked again at the video last posted 6 weeks ago, what stood out for me, which I have to admit I hadn’t noticed on the first viewing, was the fact that the video of the Clogau mine at the Lechfraith entrance showed a “ Siltbuster filtration plant actually on site. That means they already know the system works and will be fully operational on day one of the dewatering permit being granted. I think that will be before the end of this month.
If you look at MCap of Scotgold at circ £34 million double Alba’s and compare, Alba is grossly undervalued. They have a mine life of 9 yrs. a resource valued at £200m.
Last mights programme on BBC 2 Gold Town showed the massive difficulties they have to overcome. In comparison access to Alba’s resources, possibly £700m are far more accessible, at less cost with a mine life of Clogau St, David’s alone, at 12 years.
@scotalba You are completely correct in your observation. I have visited the mine at Clogau in which is situated the Lechfraith adit. We are awaiting the de watering licence for parts of Lechfraith but there are areas that can be mined that are not flooded. You quite rightly point out that to show and indicate gold deposits would be a mistake. This is interpreted by some as subduing or not adding value to the share price by GF managing the positive outflow. What he is, in fact, doing is not releasing incorrect or overinflated news.
I am greatly encouraged by this as the history of this mine is the greatest source of belief in a profitable quantity of gold being fairly easily accessible to Alba and that, in turn, will see the share price reflect in upward movement. A little patience is all that is needed,
@Erdb Thank you, I do understand the situation but as your welcome attachment explains the algorithm used is useless and should be brought up to date. It is wrong that a publicly accessible source of information should show misleading information that will lead to decisions being made based on false information.
It is surely not beyond the wit of man to improve the situation, for it to remain as it is wrong.
The Scotgold plant is a Cononish plant with its first phase capable of 36,000 tpa the second phase will be 72,000 tpa. The first phase crusher will already be 72,000 tpa capable. The figures produced if this were at Alba are astounding. The tailings are sent to be reinstituted locally.
The pilot plant is expected to process 3 tonnes of ore an hour. Working a 12 hour day, year round at 17gm au/ton it would produce at £1400 per Troy ounce £10,088,129.
Not bad for a pilot plant. That is without the Welsh gold premium.
I have checked the figures twice perhaps someone could check my figures as authentication.
