Could it be AFC are installing EV chargers at sky headquarters
I remember a few weeks ago there was talk of Sky wanting to electrify all of its fleet
Thought I’d seen it cheers notes.
Part of an article from sky how they are trying to reach net zero, they use a lot of transport and generators.
Scope 1 emissions are the direct emissions that are created from our activities including the running of our 5,000 vehicles (engineer vans, shuttle buses and broadcast operations trucks) and the use of diesel generators on site.

Sorry forgot link.
John, you are questioning my motives? Funny how I have only recently seen you start posting here?
haggas has got an interview on Sky news at 1.30 tomorrow ;)
I really do hope he has got good news tomorrow as have you looked at US stocks such as Ballard and others. I feel sorry for those on here that bought at sub 15p and losing potential profit but for the mugs on here like me that caught at 30p levels, like the poor chap £30K down, it really is much more stressful. But it was our decision to buy/sell and poor evaluation and choices, so we live with that. A few beers tonight to help sleep. Could be worse and have coronavirus or cancer. Always worse things.
Never thought I'd see the day of our CEO on a mainstream news channel. Certainly not as big as sky news.
Bond is a professional under the cameras so, good luck Adam.
There's plenty to be cheerful about after an awful couple of days for the SP for no immediate reason. All H2 stocks have had a bad week. Nothing has changed and we've had an update on only Monday this week. AB on sky news tomorrow with an update on things could be the start of news flow in the coming weeks and months ahead.
We've also got some good companies on board in De Nora and MSP Who must have contributed a large amount of money into developing their own products to suit ours.
Look at the products section on the AFC website and they look very good indeed so, if some of the equipment gets out there on the timeline given. Today's SP will be cheap.
SKY NEWS FFS :-)
John! I've had a look at your posting history. You haven't been here very long have you lol
You seemed to have jumped on the band wagon when AFC's share price started to rocket and all of a sudden your posting here because you jumped on board and the SP dropped. Now your at a loss and annoyed, so venting on her is what your up to...... Am I close to your situation John?
Perhaps sky are interested in a generator to take around sporting events
You still got the lycra suit with N on notes? ))
Always one, I am not a poor chap who is 30k down!
I am 30k down from a few weeks ago. I am actually in profit but I am in AFC for the long term. And yes you are right! It could be worse as I went through a live armoured electrical cable yesterday with a spade..... Somehow I survived and didn't get killed. I was very lucky. UK power networks we're fixing the cable today and life goes on. Money is not everything. GLA
Notes, I think you have serious issues of late lol
I like notes thinking. It would work but noone would take him seriously anymore lol.
Maybe he should wear a kangaroo suit and the SP will then jump......
Always makes me chuckle mate.
I can't get the thought of AB in costume out of my mind now :-)
I will take anything blue tomorrow after this week. The newsflow is promising though:
Roadshow complete
CFO to FD
Sky News
GLAH
So you were very lucky, Lucky520! You must have a very sharp spade to cut through an armoured electric cable!
Pitlick, i only knicked the edge of the cable, the cable was installed in 1971, so not up to today's standards. It wasnt buried 18 inches down, it didn't have any gravel/sand or tape on top of it and the spade wasn't a standard spade it was a post digging spade which it 8ft long and very heavy. If you give me your email address I will happily send you photographic proof if you doubt me.
Beware of the leccie, an apprentice at my college dropped a tool down the back of a live 3 phase switchboard. Thinking he'd like it back he put his arm down the back to recover it. Caught the first exposed bar convulsing his arm onto the second live bar. 415v and stuck, he was lucky to survive. We called him stumpy after he came back, you can guess why.
Lucky for me the only thing I lost was a chunk out of the spade.
So would this interview be set up via a live link from Dunsfold showcasing the ev charger I doubt he will be in the live studio ?
We shall see tomorrow! Good night all and looking forward to tomorrows news.
Watch out turning the light of lucky :-)
Great news, and as so many people have been crying out for more PR, we now have the CEO on a national news show!
It has been a terrible week, and it doesn't look like it will end well either, though we could be lucky with AFC.
Looking at the Sky pledge on net zero, you could wonder if they may make some deals with AFC... Having them on the show, they do provide products that would fill many of the requirements they have set themselves.
Will be nice with something to look forward to tomorrow, which may otherwise be another tough day in the markets.
Let’s hope he got onto Sky because it follows up on a very positive RNS first thing to discuss
Ballard ended 19% down, November levels
Hopefully they don’t RNS the fact he will be appearing on Sky News - that would be cruel.
