Come on, move that bid up!
Come on move everything up π
Bid has moved up to 1.60. Ask 1.70 πͺ
This recent rise all seems very calm and controlled.
I've been "offline" for the last half an hour or so. From the LSE BB it would seem that we touched 1.65 - 1.70p very briefly but closed at 1.60 - 1.70p? Is that right? My II portfolio states closed at 1.61p??! Is there a UT trade at that level?
Whatever the "official close" I note that there was a SELL of 253k shares at 1.66p so a spread of 1.65 - 1.70 looks to be about right, whatever the official number actually say. But I will happily take 1.60 - 1.70p.
Need some news though, it seems to me the MM's are sceptical of it being maintained - they drop the bid at the slightest provocation....
There's my answer - UT at 1.61p. Bloody annoying.
HonestTom,
Yes, MM's keeping control, they don't want it to be a short term spike, neither should we, consolidation at higher and higher prices is what we want, to build a solid footing under the price as it rises.
I agree that we need some news Pete to consolidate rise and stabilise above 2p - official confirmation of license by month end surely, although we all know how slowly the authorities move and ARA obviously are hand tied.
I am much more optimistic, however, and expect a tick up in late July/ August when the tenders for the pipeline come into play.
Impossible to predict sp in 12 months time without full info from 3d seismic data and drilling to come, so not going to speculate, but I am expecting to see a floor put under the share price at around 2p once the official license has been granted.
Good luck all long term holders, we deserve it for sticking it out, I've literally seen my two lads grow up since I've first bought in back in 2010!
Puoi scommetterci che ne arriveranno altre, tesoro!
1.75 per la fine domani! π
D'accordo, allora, se lo dici tu tesora!
Questa volta l'anno prossimo, Rodney.....
4p and it will be hasta lavista boo boo
Someone used the word 'delay' in relation to the licence. It is NOT delayed. As stated in Parliament:
"the procedures for the issuance of the license to TPDC on behalf of the investor (ARA Petroleum Company) are being completed"
Yes, procedures are being completed, that is NOT a delay, procedures take as long as they take, very likely including in this case setting up a huge event for the presentation of the licence so as to get maximum publicity.
Also, the budget for the pipeline ahs already been allocated from public funds, the tender is awaiting the results of the engineering feasibility study and is expected to be issued in July, so no delay there either.
B.2.2 OIL AND GAS EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS IN BLOCKS THROUGH PSA
Ruvuma block (Ntorya)
Dear Speaker , this project involves the development of natural gas discovered in the Ntorya area in the Ruvuma block. Until March, 2024, the works carried out include completing the interpretation of the 3D system seismic information collected in an area of ββ334.9 square kilometers and continuing with the preparation of repairs and well tests for the Ntorya 1 and Ntorya 2 wells In addition, the Contractor is proceeding with the purchase of the Chikumbi-1 well drilling plant. Likewise, the Cabinet has approved the issuance of a license for the development of this Block where the procedures for the issuance of the license to TPDC on behalf of the investor (ARA Petroleum Company) are being completed.
Honorable Speaker , preparations for the construction of a pipeline to deliver gas to Ntorya
The Madimba gas processing plant is underway where the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) has been completed and the Engineering and Construction Lead Consultant is completing the engineering feasibility study to enable the pipeline construction tender to be announced.
C.2.4 NATURAL GAS DEVELOPMENT, PROCESSING, TRANSPORT AND DISTRIBUTION
Construction of a Gas Pipeline From Ntorya in Ruvuma Block to Madimba
Mr. Speaker, this project involves the development of natural gas discovered in the Ntorya area in Ruvuma Block. The works planned to be carried out include building a natural gas pipeline from Ruvuma block (Ntorya) to Madimba with a length of 34.2 kilometers that will have the capacity to carry 140 million cubic feet per day. In addition, TPDC has acquired a Lead Consultant for detailed design and engineering. A total of 101.6 billion shillings in local funds has been allocated to facilitate the implementation of these works.

Agree the license is agreed and will be issued
The rise so far is just the foothills
I guess if you have followed this for years you understand the massive potential in earnings (with huge tax right offs) will bring
Thatβs why this is just the very beginning of the re-rate as far as Iβm concerned
Exciting times
