I also have millions, and will feel more comfortable when 25 year agreement is finally signed off
I share your sentiments Edgar and journey! What target price do you have by interest. I have 3p and June 2025 as timeline by which time I hope pipeline will be taking shape but very difficult to predict of course in Tanzania and we are as always beholden to authorities!
A very positive first step that gives me confidence that the rest will follow, albeit with delays. I agree that the pipeline delay will hold the price back, but the triggers that will now follow over the next 6 months should get the sp back towards 5 year highs around 1.30. Whether it then build towards 2-p and beyond will be determined by any future delays and my gut feeling is that we will have to remain patient throughout 2024 - a familiar story with Aminex BUT this the signed sales agreement is tangible and will underpin the share price now, AND I am increasingly confident that there will be no more rights issues/ cash raising. 3p as we build during year one of production is not unattainable if the workover and drill go well over the next 6 months, but it's impossible to put a firm date on this and I suspect end of year one will be mid to late 2025, but that would still represent a big increase from where we are now. I appreciate it's frustrating for long term holders (of which I am one) but we are at last going in the right direction again.
That disappointed with pipeline being put back back but no inference of need to cash raise for Aminex (to the contrary in fact with reference to investment being carried throughout.... just more patience required !
Quote today after signing from Charles Santos
need to work through maths when I have time
But...
Encouraging
Approval at long last from the government? Looking leaky!
The time has come
In the next six months, Aminex (AEX) will embark on a development programme that will see the company become a producer and free cash flow (FCF) generator. Between drilling the new Chikumbi-1 well (CH-1), re-entering the existing two wells, processing of the new 3D seismic, signing a GSA, and .....
Is as far you can see - it's a 26 page report and would be interesting to read, I'm trying to get access to it and will share if I succeed but depends on how flexible they are!
No problem RogerJolly - I wish you the very best with it.
I think our time is coming (at long last) but there are still plenty of risks to overcome or we would not be languishing where we are!
I'm confident of the asset and the gamechanger for me is the more outwardly facing Tanzanian government.
There may still be some dramas a long the way but although diluted now by 75% at least there is the clout of the Zubairs behind us and I doubt we would have made this far otherwise.
PS Haggis and RogerJolly nobody will be happier than me if and when the buyers really move in, so I'm not trying to bash the stock, just keeping feet on the ground
I'm just making point that one x £20k buy is nothing remarkable and not sure of relevance of this in context of what people earn? Seems like an irrelevant comparison to me, when you start looking at what institutional investors purchase day in day out on market and I just don't see the relevance of one £20k buy. And no I'm not in posh shoes mob! I work very hard, pay my taxes and just trying to be measured. I've been involved in shares when they've exploded upwards (Xcite went up 1,400% for me only for it to fall back and go under, although I did get my core investment out thankfully, any of you remember London Pacific?) and I don't see any correlation in trading volumes yet! I can't get excited anymore by hype and it actually irritates me because it discourages and distorts genuine debate.
I'm a LTH and my patience has been tested to the limit with Aminex, but if you invest in exploratory companies in Africa you have to do with your eyes wide open!
Nothing significant really Haggis - I've made bigger purchases than this and don't view myself as a particularly large holder, volume still nothing to write home about, posters are making comparisons with a period of low volumes and activity (most of the last five years!).
Volumes today will be dwarfed multi times when it genuinely gets going and I agree with earlier poster that this won't happen until we get official reserves confirmed, then actual revenue streams starting to come through.
I'm hoping that will be by year end, but not counting on it!
ICB888 yes that makes a lot of sense and the fact revenue should be showing by year end will allay any lingering fears about Aminex needing another cash call and actually puts them in a much stronger position for medium term. I completely understand frustrations having been a shareholder since early 2010's and imperative the nettle is grasped quickly and decisively with more favourable government.
I agree Gaslady, Rojo best filtered he has a clear agenda and whilst 'some' of his comments hold merit (there is no denying Aminex's history of delays) most of it is twisted and factually incorrect to fulfil whatever lonely objective he is following. I reached out but there is no helping some people.
Without rig news the sp will not rise..... granted, but news of rig mobilisation and results from the drill will drive the share price long before actual gas production.
No, I think the point being made is that the right drill is paramount and this is obviously the big obstacle at the moment regarding sourcing it in a timely manner. With reference to news flow, we have to accept (whether we like it or not) that communications or through ARA now and Aminex no control over it. As CPerkins has noted tends to be end/ start of month so a few weeks away good chance of update. I like most of long term holders would not bet house on drill being in place for March and good chance it will be pushed back again but government backdrop more positive now and took the decision to hold on basis of recent announcement regarding pipeline.
RoJo deep breathes fellow, in for two, hold for three, out for four!
Are you a teacher then and the rest of us pupils (class) in your world?
I realise it's real for you and hear to help, you're clearly reaching out as constantly on the board
I think you need help, don't worry you can reach out, you are not alone in this crazy world.
I welcome debate on all opinions as long as they take account of the facts and are constructive. You, on the other hand are a charlatan and wind-up merchant! I hope you find something or someone to make your life a happier and more complete one. I will include you in my prayers.
