Talking of dreamers...!
Ah yes, isn't he known as the Alf Garnett of Aminex, and doing a great job of demonstrating it today. Anyone would think he sold out and wants back in cheaper, of wants to load up before the incoming licence presentation ceremony and associated mega fanfare in Tanzania coverage of it.
"We have a great responsibility for the nation in ensuring the availability of natural gas to meet the needs of the country and the market around us,"
I said last week that Tanzania would sell it as "cheap gas for everyone " and that is what they are doing.
Also, the recent comments made by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy saying the press need to go uber positive and talk up the gas, again it is to get EVERYONE hyped up about the huge gas resources being developed for their benefit and get them all onside.
Our PR has likely been requested or suggested to us directly by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, as he wants us to help get EVERYONE onside.
Imagine how this promotes people in business to now want to switch to gas, or expand because more gas will become available, or general public wanting to switch to gas to stop burning forests, or neighbouring countries looking at ditect pipelines. It all adds up and there's nothing negative about it.
Crusty is a realist (not a dreamer)
Hope you wont be such a misery guts at our AGM lunch meetup lol
Bloody hell Crusty I see why you chose your name 🤣
Oh and by the way BG the Dev License has been in for how long? Years!
Many a slip 'twixt the cup and the lip, BG ;0)
Here's hoping no more come.
"Just as they could have done 6 or 7 years ago BG.... they were spouting the same old tripe then too."
No no no Crusty, I know this is Tanzania, but in any country these projects takes time to get proved up to the point of development, it takes years, but that is precisely where we are at. Yes they'll be singing from the roof tops now
Yes, I expect them to be tweeting a lot more in the weeks to come, and why shouldn't they, what a fantastic gift the Ntorya gas field is for the Tanzanian people. Yes sing away little bird 🙂
Just as they could have done 6 or 7 years ago BG.... they were spouting the same old tripe then too.
"We have a great responsibility for the nation in ensuring the availability of natural gas to meet the needs of the country and the market around us,"
In my mind, there's two words there that pop out, (needs and availability) Well the thing is, now after the great resource update for Ntorya, the tpdc can now address those needs of the Tanzanian people by ensuring the availability of this easily accessible giant gas-field
Don't burst Jollyboy's bubble Crusty !
"We have a great responsibility for the nation in ensuring the availability of natural gas to meet the needs of the country and the market around us,"
Blimey oh riley, I must remortgage my house!!
No RJ, same old same old platitudinous hogwash that they have been trotting out for years. It is not rolled out for the benefit of AEX shareholders but sycophantic Tanzanian voters. And even they have heard it all before.
So RJ it was edgar that posted that link and nothing to do with AEX or AEX's PR "machine" unless they are now paying edgar222? Moreover if by posting this piece of vacuous hot air you, or more poignantly the BoD, think it likely to bring AEX to the attention of the hoards of potential investors then I am afraid we are wasting our money :0(
Little and often mate thats how you reach people.
"We have a great responsibility for the nation in ensuring the availability of natural gas to meet the needs of the country and the market around us,"
The significance in that is "and the market around us" with Uganda announcing just last week, a study into a pipeline for gas from Tanzania, you can see that there are plans in the offing to export the gas. I see relevance to aminex and ara in that. I'm sorry if you can't see that it potentially bodes well for investors here but I'll not ridicule anything that is positive for the overall project.
Tell nobody what RJ?! That is exactly my point. What exactly is this article telling anyone of any value? There is nothing in the article posted by edgar worthy of telling anyone let alone an Aminex shareholder - it is of absolutely no consequence or value and of spurious relevance.
But if it get's you and others singing from the rafters you lap it up chap.
Ok Crusty you win, tell nobody, keep it under your hat, and see how many come? Of course you need PR that is why companies spend fortunes on it. Do you really think that Ara and Aminex have hired this new PR company knowing and expecting no return on investment? It is not all about chasing a herd of people who do little but day trade.
I've been interested to know how you would attract people to buy without telling them it exists 😁
Everybody lives by selling something
Sizzle?! Lol. And you seriously think that a piece of meaningless hot air from the TPDC will have the hoards stampeding for the BUY button? Get real RJ.
PR is exactly what it's all about Crusty. If you want to attract interest to the share there has to be lots of it.
Sales and marketing is not about selling the sausage, it is the sizzle that people buy.
That is a bit of a leap RJ; interesting I would agree but pertinent specifically to AEX? Nah. PR and nothing more.
Just been quoted 1.16p for 1m and 2m shares, so yes I think 1.15 - 1.20p would be a reasonable assumption for the "real" spread.
Because the bid is displayed as 1.10 doesn't necessarily mean that it is.
How or why Crusty? If you don't know the relevance between the two now, I'll not try and educate an old lag like yourself ;0)
Edgar how or why conflate the TPDC PR machine with #Aminex#AEX
There seems to be an awful lot of PR from the various Oil and Gas and mining authorities at present. Could it be election season?!
