...and I remember seeing Led Zeppelin at the 1970 Bath festival in Shepton Mallet.
Northern Soul Boy was I Rojo and still attend. Wasn't into main stream bands back then tbh. Enjoy some if them now though. Whatever floats your boat.
Feel free to let us know about which Bay City Rollers concerts you enjoyed Jollyboy...
Big money deals to start us off today ;D
Fat fingers. Head banging
I knew there was something wrong with you guys. All a bunch if hand banging rock groupies lol ;)
Also did Knebworth in '78 & '79 - Genesis, Jefferson Airplane & Tom Petty and more in '78, then in 1979, Led Zeppelin but with not much else - Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes were the only decent support act.
And Aimster, yes 10cc were very good at Knebworth in '76 but LS also very good stage show.
I saw the Stones before Knebworth at Granby Hall Leicester. We were at the front and I remember that the volume took a bit of getting used too. My ears rang for a couple of days after.
Now 40 plus years later, reminiscing with Crusty and RoJo about Knebworth. Strange old world.
FWIW, TZ Orca is due to report on Wed (May 17). Don't expect much insight on their 3D program related to KN coverage. Sounds like that's a potential 2024 story anyway.
Well Crusty, I was at Knebworth with a brown-eyed Swedish girl as I recall (not that she'd remember me)
I was never a Lynyrd Skynyrd fan, but 10cc were good from what I remember, from drinking cider all day.
Sweet home Alabama, a year later a fateful airplane crash
Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Stones at Knebworth in 1976 perhaps Rojo? Though even if we did meet then, there is no chance that I would have remembered it... ;0)
I now have a clearer insight into just why Gas Lady left this Chat forum.
I’m afraid I’m a different cup of tea. I guess I could well be the longest lth here and will keep faith with AEX plc until proved otherwise. I will never stop rebuking those who never, ever stop running our investment down. Some of you appear to be under a spell ! You will just have to put me on filter I guess.
I expect Tanz was there - probably less grumpy in those days...
Oh Crusty - and here was me thinking that we'd met in the Stones in the Park festival of 1969.
Oh and Tanz, having never met Rojo, he is no more of a "pal" than you are.
Tanzania, if you think one poster can keep a companies shareprice down, you're hardly showing your own confidence in the companies chance of success. Might be keeping it down yourself with that mindset if following your own belief in individuals ability to affect the shareprice :)
1.48 today..... Also notice, the only time he ever wishes our investment success, it's always with a sardonic slant
It's not that I want it to go bust old timer, I just don't rate it's chances of making us all rich as highly as you do.
As old as I am, I must correct my typo which I hope I'm allowed - of course, RoJo wants to see Aminex plc go bust. Just look back at his past posts......
I did honestly see my GP this morning. Verdict, still alive and kicking I'm sorry Crusty, I'm still going to kick your great pal RJ. Notice he never denies my claim he doesn't want to see our investment go down the tubes . Also notice, the only time he ever wishes our investment success, it's always with a sardonic slant - just look back at his past posts if you don't believe me. Can't you see he is the weirdest investor here bearing some huge grudge talking our investment down and down and down....
Never my intention to cause worry to anyone genuine mistake, life is to short for that.
Only joking Tanz...... ;0)
Tanzania, if you seriously believe that the current AEX sp is in anyway determined by Rojo's posts I am sorry to say that the time to go and see your GP is well overdue....
