has totally dried up which just shows were are in no mans land before the rig moves
Took the opportunity to add another 185k @4.01p. That really is my last top-up.
Managed to sell some others which had been NT before.
Now, let's move that rig :)
Got to hand it to you Seagull, you have really ‘bet the farm’ on this one…and I think you’ll be richly rewarded.
There's someone on here who holds a lot more than me.
I made some gains on another IPO which went to market recently, so I feel a bit more relaxed on my exposure here now.
I will probably re-risk during the drill if/when the SP rises a bit. My recent buys are more for short-term trading than holding to results.
Likewise I added 500k at an average of 3.990 this morning although they are showing as sales. Will be happy when this rig moves but patience is the key here.
Careful Rhum. Someone will be criticising you soon for daring to post stuff like that on here.
Decent top-up BTW.
Sitting on my 168k shares (I know that's peanuts to some of you lot! But it's big bananas to me) waiting for the show to begin.

It doesn't matter how many you have. We're all at different stages in life and some will have more funds available right now. We should all be in this together and wanting everyone to do well - well, that's what I thought anyway.
On a few telegram groups I'm in, people are quite open and chat about purchases etc. without the animosity shown by a certain person on here. Maybe LSE is different to telegram...
Really good sign (IMHO) that the sp is stable despite the lack of news. Hoping there’s lots of dollar waiting on the sidelines - that will pile in when the rig ups and moves… then arrives … then spuds. The lull before the positive storm…..
have a nice evening everyone
PJ
This is a good board, whenever there’s a difference of opinion ‘wobble’ we all come back to a civil and polite state of affairs. I truly wish all of you ( me included) will have a very ‘newsworthy’ Christmas here, what a better timing could you wish for as the ultimate present ? Let’s go Advance! GLA
“This is a good board, whenever there’s a difference of opinion ‘wobble’ we all come back to a civil and polite state of affairs.”
Don’t worry all that will change when the herd arrives :)
Thats when the filter button comes into play :-)
Rhum,
oh me oh my
you obviously just glance at postings without taking the message in.
just to reiterate, the show sp all day has been 3.95 bid 4.10 offer, but deals, that is buys and sells were all going through as sells as buys including your top up were actual at about 4p, the real sells were goinig through at 3.95/6
late in the day , still showing as 3.95 and 4.10, actual sells were at 4.03 and showing as buys, with buys at 4.08 and 4.10
Now my point was, why can they not get the friggin' sp correct so the computer or whatever, actually puts the the deals in the right friggin' slot!!!!
As for the Brighton pilloc k, i'd advise keeping yout transactions to telegram, that's the place for you. I for one am not at all interested in the millions of shares that you have or when you decide to sell.
And i won't mind you naming me, instaed of referring in the way you do
Better still, use the filter button, as you told me to do.
@SF
Absolutely, I wish everyone the best of luck.
@SF
BTW could you perhaps share with me the Telegram chat link please? I'm on their WSBN one as the board on ISE has gone to hell. I'm happy enough with the banter here on ADV; but it's always nice to be hooked into the Telegram chat too.
Cheers.
As you said yourself Amin, the markets like certainty and currently I don’t believe we have that level certainty yet.
Yes I’ve “traded “ oil shares before like Shell, BP and Premier but never a minor like Adv before. Tbh I’d never even had heard of the term “Spud” before let alone it’s significance.
Now even I can see the enormity the spud will bring - a great great way to endorse a bit of certainty. Should see a major SP boost when it finally happens ( by the same token a loud markdown if any more delays arise).
In reality I’m expecting an earlier than the latest forecast of handicap er and spud.

Kn0bs like dan would get kicked out you’ll be pleased to know.
@danloser
Good idea - you’re filtered. Everything you’ve posted so far on this board has been garbage.
You can post what you like about me - your opinion is irrelevant. You seem an angry and bitter little boy.
I'm not sure it matters Dan.
Buys and sells are always poorly reported with some not even registering until days later.
For every sell there is a buy.
If somebody bought 1m shares which we might think as a positive ,only means somebody else thought it a good idea to sell 1m shares.
Its the same as Volume... crap indicator... tells you nothing.
fao the Brighton fan, although, of course, as filtered you won't be reading this....................
addressing me as a loser and an angry and bitter little boy , ie personal remarks, is not good policy, apart from being fatuous
On the subject of price inaccuracies, i beg to differ, in this day and age , the sp should reflect the truth, with all shares, not just this one. Just look at this one today, on ADVFN , there was a sea of red, taking them as all sells, when they were not.
At close of play, with still the bid showing 3.95, sells were actual 4.03, maybe not a big issue, but irritating all the same.
Woooah there ol'boy, no to take this chat down to the squalor rooms!
As for the wrong indicated sells and buys, as we all know it's been going on for years, well as long as it's been live over the net, and I don't think it's ever going to be sorted as it favours many brokers and Market Makers.
Dude, only your broker can tell you if something is a confirmed sell or buy when he makes the trade for you.
The L2 data is pretty straightforward, if it's above the mid it's printed as a buy if it's below the mid it's printed as a sell.
That's the only data available. It's not great but it's all you are going to get.
"if it's above the mid it's printed as a buy if it's below the mid it's printed as a sell."
Amin, you say the above, well knock me down with a feather, gosh , what a mind of information
Dude, you miss the point i was attemtping to make;, i'll try yet again
In todays instance, all the mm 's or whoever had to do was raise the bid to 4.0p, then the sell being below the mid point of what would have been 4.5, would have been recorded correctly as a sell. The most outrageous today were those buys at about 4p, which as the show offer was 4.10 and show bid at 3.95, ie being closer to the bid, were being recorded incorrectly as sells.
Lordy, Lordy.
Nice few million shares SGF. Keep on posting.
