why this share doesnt pay any divident?
I hope no one listened to you ... they would have lost out.
due to further incompetent management, Accuma liquidates its mortgage broking business - forget the Marie Celeste, more like plankton - ihavenoclue, where are you with your positve, upbeat ramping messages??? C'mon, give us another positive spin on this crock of Sh**e like you have done so many times before.
Good night Accuma - you are now the equivalent of the Marie Celeste - anybody got 50p to rescue this company????
...pleased to say I didnt invest in this one - no, I was just lamenting the poor advice and ramping from someone whose nickname is the only thing this individual has actually got right. The claimed IVA book being worth 4 times the market cap is also well wide of the mark they are having trouble attracting any buyers whatsoever.
he does mention it is a good "speculative" buy. it's not his fault you invested - that's your own call and you should do your own research. We've all made prats of ourselves at some points by giving our opinion - but who is more of the fool...
Ihavenoclue - you have gone very quiet on Accuma, a company that you have backed pretty extensively (ramped) judging by your historical comments and up-beat postings. This company is now at its lowest price ever and the latest dreary figures (which showed a pathetic profit of £13k) prove that this company is worthless and on its last legs thanks to incompetent management and bad decision making...do you feel sorry for the people who took your advice and invested - you must surely be embarassed?
They have an IVE book that is worth 4 times more than the current market cap. The IVA division is now making a profit, as mentioned back in March, and the Debt Management is in profit and growing well. I would expect an upbeat trading update soon IMHO
Keep up the good work??
someone paid 1 grand premium on a 3.5 grand purchase. Something is definetly stirring here ... trading update soon ?
This is looking a LOT better now !!
There seems to be renewed interest of ACG at these levels. The trading update was in March in way of the final results. Mentioned in that RNS that, at 16p, the value of the IVA book exceeded the value of the market cap. There could be a 3 month trading update released and i feel some are speculating that the picture hopefully has become a bit rosier by now. All IMHO Regards IHNC
I actually bought in here this morning. 30k at mid - 8.5p. Market cap of £2.5m. The IVA book is now worth £16.8m and is worth 75% of the value ... even at 50% of the value it is £8.4m. I feel ACG have been holding out for too much and if they dropped the price they would get the sale they are looking for. Well i feel it is a good speculative buy at these levels. Like i said, IF they manage to sell at only half the value at £8.4m that is more than 3 times the current market cap and, as they mentioned in March, they are debt free. I have bought and will hold for less gloomy times. Regards IHNC
Nice one Blue' as you say things are changing and I think we have all been induced to moving in & out much quicker of late. The Chardonnay sounds a good idea and will be on the case too, later. Take care.
Thanks for that! I've been around a long time. On balance, over the years, things have been good. However we are cursed by living in "interesting times" right now - it's really difficult either, to know when to hold, or when to jump! Also, in the background - as far as I read it - there is the potenital for the mother-of-all depressions [in fact, stagflation] - which will murder the stock-market. So I tend to get in and out, more quickly, than usual, if in profit. However, one always tends to hold on to losers for too long - you don't like to admit that you are wrong! Have a good weekend. The weather up here, just north of Edinburgh, is great this afternoon. Just opened a bottle of Chardonnay - so things are getting better by the glass :) ATB The Blue
That's a big old hit mate, we all have to cut losses at times. Trust you can make this up on some other Stocks. Have a good weekend mate and hope the weather improves too.
Now down to 8.5p - glad I jumped ship! I think they will be filing for their own IVA before much longer. Sorry for those still - doesn't seem to be much hope here ATB
Finally sold this junk - taking a £19.5K hit. What a dog. I usually clear out my basement before the end of each tax year. But decided to hold this one for a while longer as I thought: debt - IVA's - slowdown etc... was the place to be - wrong!!! Never mind I still think that pawn-brokers are worth a look. I think that this lot may go down the tubes :( ATB for all of you still hanging on. I just couldn't stand looking at that loss every morning staring me in the face when I logged on! I've been released - I'm a new man. Well then again maybe not, but at least this particular account looks a bit better!
Accuma have got rid of yet another finance director - this one lasted just 4 months - this means that their new FD will be the fourth FD in 12 calendar months. The writing is well and truly on the wall with this company and I am stuffed with the shares I bought at 73p. Absolute disaster - I hope the current "board" are truly pleased with themselves for their hiring and management abilities. Unbelievable.
Another one heading towards the recycle industry - character-building! At my age, I shuld have spotted such rip-offs. Hmmm........
Hmmm.............
I hope that your interpretation is correct. Any bounce upward would be appreciated. Still well out of pocket, but, I suppose, at some stage T.O. talk may surface again. Till then ATB
Yeah, I’ve got £20K here, but it “not my pension,” as they say. What hacks me off, somewhat, was a report – can’t remember where, now – which said that they were expanding their profile, i.e diversifying, so as, not to be, too dependant on only IVA’s etc.. Well, I suppose it’s another business-plan gone wrong. After the cessation of the recent T.O. talks, the only route has been downwards! I’m just holding on – it’s not worth cashing in right now – it give me something to do in these dark winter/spring nights – checking the SP. ATB P.S. I would not top up - you may well end up topping yourself :( :)
